Are you please able to tell me how to pair/connect to the base unit. A while ago our battery ran out and we finally bought one and now it won’t connect to the base unit. And I can’t find one UA-cam video on how to do it to a TELSTRA V850 cordless phone.
so how do you enable the 4G back up to come on straight away? the point of this $700 modem is that it should kick over to the 4G when the internet goes down with little to no interruption yet my one take 5-10 mins to switch over.
I can connect to the internet but have limited access. I can do a google search but i can't navigate to any of the web pages, they just time out. Does this on Apple and android devices. Bank app times out yet youtube can run no problems. No issues like this prior to FTTP. Telstra can't help?

@@VatisGunz i see he didnt reply to you, its over a month since you asked but if your wondering it just means you are running of the SIM. It will eventually stop working and isn't great, you will have a worse connection so I would keep trying to connect it properly.
This device is pure garbage. I can't even reach half of the speed I'm paying when I'm using this device. I'm on a premium plan and I can't even get to 20mbps on his device. I'm using my own router and not this garbage. the only reason I'm not {YET) throwing this device in the bin is because of the emergency mobile internet.

You can restart the modem by turing it off and wait for a few minutes before turning it back on, that usually helps. If the light is still blue, you must check if your cables are on the right places, try doing a hard reset as well if you must. If still not connecting, you must call telstra, there must be a problem with the modem or the NBN.

search 'telstra smart modem as 4g'. i just bought gen2 and use boost mobile.it's working ok. 50+/30+

literally there is no difference between the wifi speed. even when there was no such thing as nbn, the wifi was still horribly slow.
Our NBN is not located in our home. We were told we have NBN we just don't have that box on our wall
