Honestly!!! My bet for the winner this year since day 1 was India. I somehow had a feeling that she was going to win. Last time I had a feeling was with Catriona and Harnaaz. I just had a feeling that Rachel will win. It’s just she had the aura of a winner since day 1. What I like about Miss Grand is that their production is very grand, each girl is given time to show up, the camera angles are also cool and super HD, the lighting, the stage and the timing are also perfect. The commercials don't take long either. and the host is also cool and very iconic. as long as your girl is in the top 10, it means your girl has won.

Yup...even before the coronation night she has displayed immaturity and arrogance as she expects too much to win the crown as she's facially beautifully and way more popular than last year's first runner up NiNi...she was even seen as rude to Miss Venezuela in a live show...Then she bursts to tears during her Natcos until the coronation night...Her outburst was expected from people...
I loved the last part dani how contentants tackling difficult question, I guess the reason why PHILIPPINES keeps on moving forward on this edition is because in the interview she was asked a very pressuring question on whats her take about her country saying that the pageant is a COOKING SHOW... and she answered very confidently... that she will show to her country that she can work her way and rise up to the challenge... so that she can convince her country that this pageant is worth it... its a very smart move for her, one of the best FILIPINA CONTESTANT ever...
Myanmar's answer is not on-brand with MGI. Let's not forget, Nawat used to be Thailand's franchise holder for Miss Earth. That relationship did not go well, so when Myanmar answered something that was very Miss Earth, I felt, she wouldn't win.
The show was spectacular and very entertaining..a pageant of beauty, brains, body of fit, single , natural born young women.. a beauty pageant indeed! Each and everyone was having a grand fun time!
Actually Our India Queen answered it in the way as the question was of 2 parts one for the problem and other for measures to do it and she give the answer both with example of our own country thats why her answer was more effective. I felt bad about France on that QnA part because honestly I loved her answer because for me it's quite unique and out of the box. So kind of felt bad that she didn't defend that answer properly. Also, I do agree that Dominican Republic should be on that top 5. Her performance was just so strong throughout the night.

I have another perspective for why phillpipines and India were getting tough questions in the interview : Everybody knew that India and phillipines were a very strong top 2 already, and nawat had problems with both the nations, less fan engagement from India ,phillipines mocking their show after their titleholders did not win, so nawat just wanted to know whether he could expand miss grand to both the countries, and as both the countries if win this year, would be their first mgi title, they could or could not begin the mgi journey in their country. also I love how both the countries proved nawat wrong, indian fans were everywhere on social media and I literally saw very few people calling mgi a cooking show after cj got first runner up, and how they just accepted the title
About the Q&A, it is not unfair. The rule is, once the first to answer, the next candidate cannot repeat the same topic. Thats why the first to answer is more advantage because if the next candidate have the same topic in their mind, they are oblidge to change their topic. Since in the beginning of MGI this is already the rules. It was already explained by Nawat many times.
Agree 💯 Even though France was the last one to answer and had time to think, she ran out of options and to give a different opinion not taken up by the previous contestants. At the end, she couldn't give her answer properly.

Hello, Ms. Dani. I just want to say that Myanmar's answer is very suitable for Miss Earth. She is very on-brand on that system. On the other hand, CJ's answer is beautiful. She mentioned the tagline of Miss Grand, solidifying her place. But when I heard Rachel's answer (India), She made sure that answer was aligned to the question. She is on-point, making her the winner. Also, her gown is somehow paying homage to her country because of the color combinations. I love France's gown. Very unique, but I am nervous that she will blend on the background since it has quite similar color
Production wise, Grand is really putting in the work. The show is entertaining, and the competition segments don't seem rushed. Unlike Miss Universe, I feel they're rushing through each segment of competition.
Such a good point. Universe is often rushed because of the time slot. They have to time it perfectly so the crowning doesn’t get cut off. Notice how credits immediately ran when teen USA was crowned? The show looked a few seconds behind.
I don't know if anyone would agree but i kinda feel miss india has high haemoglobin giving her a naturally pickish look😊 so the make up and pink gown for preliminary went so well❤

HER RAGE ABOUT AGE DISCRIMINATION!!!LIKE LOL!!! what's that gotta do with all of it?!?!each contestant's entry into the MGI competition is valid and innaccordance with the age limit set by the organization!!! 3. This year's edition of Miss Grand International was by far the most GRANDEST in terms of production and the caliber of the candidates. Not saying the previous are less but this year is just on a different level. Also, the result was fair. We love Cj but we can't deny the fact the Rachel was the clear winner since Preliminary. In India Population explosion is a real concern. There are some parts of states in India where many households and parents have 16-20 children from a single parent. Such is still a reality because of which quality education and food resources are badly affected, especially upon children and women. This again has chain reaction impact on Indian economy and resources largely, yet hugely funding for military and arm forces. This imbalance distribution of resources in India is pertinent issue and hotly debated. So I guess Rachel Gupta spoke relevantly and contextually for her country and similar countries could deeply relate her answer.
Miss Grand pageantry is really the most grand of all, the one and only. It's always fun to watch. And this year MGI was the best so far and the fairest with deserving queens winning the 👑. Till 2010 India is the most successful country in miss international and earth. We have 3-3 first runner UPS in international and second runner up. In which Earth we have two first runner UPS with one crown till 2010 but they are cheap😂😂

I'm not a Grand pageant fan but did watch the finals and felt like India was a dserving winner as well as Philippines as top 1st runnerup. Dani have you followed the drama on Myanmar and how the nat director pulled her sash and almost threw her crown on the floor during the press interview because they were dissatisfied with her placement? Today MGI officially stripped her title. This is so unprofessional and immature on the part of both the contestant and the national director and hope nothing like this happens again at any type of international.event.
Just my opinion. There were so many crowns, even a national director received a crowning moment. I feel like it should only be ONE crown. MGI is too extra for me. I do like the production though.
That's why they are Grand the one and only. I like how they appreciate the efforts and harwork of everyone involved. Nothing wrong in being inclusive and giving encouragement.

Actually Our India Queen answered it in the way as the question was of 2 parts one for the problem and other for measures to do it and she give the answer both with example of our own country thats why her answer was more effective. Phillipines answer was very nice as she talked about war and how to improve but as india included the example her answer became one step ahead of her . Thanku Dani mam for ur kind words of India

I have another perspective for why phillpipines and India were getting tough questions in the interview :
Everybody knew that India and phillipines were a very strong top 2 already, and nawat had problems with both the nations, less fan engagement from India ,phillipines mocking their show after their titleholders did not win, so nawat just wanted to know whether he could expand miss grand to both the countries, and as both the countries if win this year, would be their first mgi title, they could or could not begin the mgi journey in their country.
also I love how both the countries proved nawat wrong, indian fans were everywhere on social media and I literally saw very few people calling mgi a cooking show after cj got first runner up, and how they just accepted the title
About the Q&A, it is not unfair. The rule is, once the first to answer, the next candidate cannot repeat the same topic. Thats why the first to answer is more advantage because if the next candidate have the same topic in their mind, they are oblidge to change their topic. Since in the beginning of MGI this is already the rules. It was already explained by Nawat many times.
I thought he would hint a bit to those in top 5th to release the pressure 😊.
Agree 💯 Even though France was the last one to answer and had time to think, she ran out of options and to give a different opinion not taken up by the previous contestants. At the end, she couldn't give her answer properly.

Hello, Ms. Dani. I just want to say that Myanmar's answer is very suitable for Miss Earth. She is very on-brand on that system.
On the other hand, CJ's answer is beautiful. She mentioned the tagline of Miss Grand, solidifying her place. But when I heard Rachel's answer (India), She made sure that answer was aligned to the question. She is on-point, making her the winner. Also, her gown is somehow paying homage to her country because of the color combinations.
I love France's gown. Very unique, but I am nervous that she will blend on the background since it has quite similar color
Production wise, Grand is really putting in the work. The show is entertaining, and the competition segments don't seem rushed. Unlike Miss Universe, I feel they're rushing through each segment of competition.
Such a good point. Universe is often rushed because of the time slot. They have to time it perfectly so the crowning doesn’t get cut off. Notice how credits immediately ran when teen USA was crowned? The show looked a few seconds behind.

There are several things from Miss Grand Myanmar's statements that need to be corrected!!!!!
1. About her rage on national costume show,as far as my acknoledgements,each contestant during MGI's national costume competition needs to BRING the entirity of their costume by THEMSELF!!!no matter how big it is,you have to drag it yourself along the show's runway,during that natcos competition no one,from MGI's staffs nor the EO of the show,forbad Miss Myanmar from bringing the complete set of her natcos into the show's runway,it was her own choice not to take the cart part of the whole horsecart costume up into the show's runway,and ofcourse she GOT to dramatize THAT!!!
2. HER RAGE ABOUT AGE DISCRIMINATION!!!LIKE LOL!!! what's that gotta do with all of it?!?!each contestant's entry into the MGI competition is valid and innaccordance with the age limit set by the organization!!!
3. About her VIRAL TANTRUM'S VIDEO,after the show ended its airtime,well ofcourse everyone UNDERSTAND,that MGI'S final show IS AN INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC EVENT!!!everyone have the right to record EVERYTHING,as long as the show's EO don't forbid people from recording,IT'S LEGAL!!!
4. when Miss Myanmar said that there are the reason behind her national director's acts of SNATCHING off her crown and taking off her shash right when the show was not fully end,FOR US THAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE CALLED UNPROFESSIONAL,BAD ATTITUDE,LOW MANNER!!!while on such event one shud maintain their composure, BEHAVE!!!

What I like the most about Grand is that each delegate has her own moment to really perform and shine.Prelims and the pre-pageant segments were actual shows.The queens are always the main focus.

This year's edition of Miss Grand International was by far the most GRANDEST in terms of production and the caliber of the candidates. Not saying the previous are less but this year is just on a different level. Also, the result was fair. We love Cj but we can't deny the fact the Rachel was the clear winner since Preliminary. Hopefully. Mr. Nawat can keep on doing this moving forth as it shows the integrity and credibility of his organization. Kudos to the MGI organization for giving us the GRANDEST pageant this 2024. In India Population explosion is a real concern. There are some parts of states in India where many households and parents have 16-20 children from a single parent. Such is still a reality because of which quality education and food resources are badly affected, especially upon children and women. This again has chain reaction impact on Indian economy and resources largely, yet hugely funding for military and arm forces. This imbalance distribution of resources in India is pertinent issue and hotly debated. So I guess Rachel Gupta spoke relevantly and contextually for her country and similar countries could deeply relate her answer.
Miss Grand pageantry is really the most grand of all, the one and only.
It's always fun to watch. And this year MGI was the best so far and the fairest with deserving queens winning the 👑. Kudos to Miss Grand pageantry for always keeping it grand. Always love to see the ladies beeming with confidence and so comfortable with their bodies 😍😍😍

Till 2010 India is the most successful country in miss international and earth. We have 3-3 first runner UPS in international and second runner up. In which Earth we have two first runner UPS with one crown till 2010 but they are cheap😂😂

I'm not a Grand pageant fan but did watch the finals and felt like India was a dserving winner as well as Philippines as top 1st runnerup. Dani have you followed the drama on Myanmar and how the nat director pulled her sash and almost threw her crown on the floor during the press interview because they were dissatisfied with her placement? Today MGI officially stripped her title. This is so unprofessional and immature on the part of both the contestant and the national director and hope nothing like this happens again at any type of international.event.

Just my opinion. There were so many crowns, even a national director received a crowning moment. I feel like it should only be ONE crown. MGI is too extra for me.
I do like the production though.
That's why they are Grand the one and only. I like how they appreciate the efforts and harwork of everyone involved. Nothing wrong in being inclusive and giving encouragement.

Have you noticed the music during the Swimsuit competition? It's kinda tricky, like it's very different from previous ones, this time it's a very sexy one which for me is a great challenge for the ladies on how to perform than the usual MGI swimsuit performance.

Dani, I liked ur review but i have a problem with you not really praising indians final anser and also during war statement. see France ended the answer abruptly and had forgot the question. so clearly i mean it is important to give due to someone who has nailed the final Q and A. I dont think you will say aboout ph in any other pageant where they havent answered so clearly. in MGI 2024 INDIA and PH only gave correct answer. I havent seen the answer that India gave by any other country till date. I am sorry I beg to differ. Her (India) was structured so well..... she answered it with providing the problem mentioning an example and highlighting how to deal with. so I dont see why you would just brush it aside like ok.
