Harry your demos are the best on the web!
Andy at Pro Guitar Shop is good - but this guy kills it with the guitar faces - outstanding!
i love, really love that you guys show us so well what stuff beside the product you are reviewing you are using.
that way i really hear what effect the product does!!
keep going
Harry, I really enjoy your reviews and your playing. Thank you.
Your sense of tone is on the money. Love the reviews!
I love your "guitar face" man!
Great review. I love your angry facial expressions, and it's a nice-sounding pedal from a great company.
Love my Flux Drive, the Grid Slammer seems to be a different enough sound that would sound great with my Fender Twin 65 reissue
Paul Rudd?
Super fantastisk sound great performance
This unit and the Flux Tone are my favorite. I assume the Flux starts where the Grid ends. So if start the Flux with low gain it should sound like this pedal?
So ok ... what do you think is the better choice for only pushing the leads on the Triaxis for Metal Leads ? The Grid Slammer or the Flux Drive. I saw a Video of John Petrucci using the Grid Slammer together with the Tone Burst. So i am a bit confused what to choose.
It's really hard to make a judgement on these reviews because of the thin high end sound. How about some bottom end? How about playing a Les Paul?
Those guitar faces mean business!
lol mesa strikes again with a product that doesn't really live up to its name, don't get me wrong it is very good and sounds nice, but when I hear the name "grid slammer" I am thinking of something akin to the boss metal zone that smashes the speaker cone back and forward when on the right settings.
+Barry B It's Called "Grid Slammer" because it makes Tube amps grid work hotter than usual, making it sound with a more focus, tight and forward overdrive... Just like the Tube Screamer... I'm pretty sure that Mesa built this pedal to fight against the popular Maxon 808, Ibanez TS808 and TS9 as the main boost pedals used by the Mesa Boogie amps owners, specially the Dual Rectifier owners... I'm still waiting to find a proper review of this pedal in that duty.... and compared against one of those other pedals... Cheers!
Oh I see, In which case I stand corrected, thank you for telling me about that
Paul Rudd can shred!
Crickets
He have a face for radio ;-)
very fat sound
you farted?
I'm sorry... I love Mesa but I have to tell you that they could have found someone much better to do this video. He's just not a very good player... and then with his deep English accent I can't understand a word he says. . Sorry... I hate to be critical but this guy just has no business marketing these products. He's not an accomplished enough player.
