What part of the island where you on and what gear were you using? sorry about all the questions but I am going in a few months and GT is on the bucket list :-) thanks!
Have a look on google earth mate the biggest key hole in the reef on the whole island is where I was from memory but be very careful as the current there is like a raging river. I was using a Stella 18k pe10 braid and 200lb leader
@@lloydwood325 I was doing a bit of both. Lost about 4 lures to them running me into reef and also got two on bait after getting tired of losing expensive lures.
Bro it was enormous I have never seen anything like that fish man the drag was locked as and I was palming it didn’t do anything 😂 I was in waist deep water and his back was out and belly almost rubbing on the sand he was big
