I've been wanting a microtech for awhile, but with no local dealers I haven't gotten to actually handle one. After these series of videos the level of pride and passion that goes into these is phenomenal! I'll be picking up an ultratech soon!
Bought my first microtech ultratech a month ago and it has not left my pocket since, and I doubt it ever will. It will be something my children fight over when I'm dead, gauranteed to be an heirloom!
Sweet! Nice to see all the work and detail that goes into these knives. I cannot imagine the passion you have for what you do, and I am thankful God made you so we who appreciate these knives are able to enjoy them.
I ordered the LEO model last January, and couldn't be happier with it! Several other Officers that I work with have picked them up as well, all they had to do was get mine in their hands and the blade sells itself. The folks at Microtech are a joy to work with, and treat you right!
Hey keep the give aways coming and you'll keep growing the channel!! I've been watching for a while. The how an Ultratech is made is an awesome series and really sheds light on how much work really goes into making a great blade and system. So many folks don't get the time investment along with all the other investments it takes to make a great knife and platform like the Ultratech. So many criticize the price without realizing the process involved to make something of quality!
I agree 100% on all your points! I'd love to see this channel continue to grow, & giveaways are a great way to keep people engaged. I also love the Birth of an Ultratech series, it's awesome to see how much work really goes into every blade MT makes, both production & custom. This helps educate people on why the knives are priced the way they are given the materials & skill required to make these knives a reality.
Awesome video I work here and have never seen this done it's awesome to see how the process continues past what we do in the factory it was nice meeting you today keep up the awesome work!
WOW, the amount of hand precision work that goes into the making one of these knifes is enlightening. Never gave any thought to what it takes to produce one. Thank you, Tony, for showing us your processes. Love these kind of tutorials that show what it takes to make a Microtech custom knife.
A lot of work. He makes it look easy. Like watching someone do a backflip. Looks fairly easy and simple but need lots of talent, skill, and practice. Lots of practice.
The Level of Craftsmanship that you showed in that Custom Combat Troodon is AWESOME which is something very FEW Makers DO NOW DAYS and it is Becoming a LOST ART! Right now I am Searching for a Jedi Knight and I hope that I can find one without having to sell a kidney! I love the ATTENTION to DETAIL that Microtech Knives does to all their products lines!
Finally am a microtech owner and my first one is a Combat Troodon.... Love it! Very shortly after I had to have an ultratech. Next will probably be either a SOCOM or a Stitch
My friend makes guitars by hand and I always love to watch him work. The experience, the precision, the dedication.. I actually never knew that I’d get the same vibe from Microtech :D Don’t get me wrong, I have and use your knives and they are awesome quality tools. Just didn’t realize the love that goes into them!
Congratulations to the winner! Got my first Microtech auto (Bounty Hunter Combat Troodon) last year and my first Microtech Manual folder (Socom Elite) this year and I am very impressed. Looking at a Stitch next from Sebastijan. Keep up the great work!
I wish someday I would be lucky enough to own one of these masterpiece, owing a Marfione is my first dream custom knife. And love see how such a masterpiece is created and would love to see more of how a microtech is made and turning it into the best benchmark otf knife. If you like otf and you don’t own a microtech, then you are lying.
Thanks for this video, I'm really happy to have now an idea of how you do this (I tried on other parts and in another way, without getting such a nice result), and what to say about this Combat Troodon ... I love it. Great job :)
