    Amazing! I really loved the 1st dessert, the one with cheese, chocolate and condensed milk (I didn't catch the name), but well, I wouldn't say no to any other dishes shown either 🤣

    This video is *LEGENDARY*!! Great collab! Darn, I was hoping the Nasi goreng would be more legendary! Seems like it was a little too wet. I am with you, I like fried rice with big fire, crispy and on the drier side!

    That intro was hilarious! This is our kind of street for sure. We've never had Nasi Goreng... 1958?!! Whoa! Not sure about the chicken feet stew. Haha That dessert with condensed milk is more down our alley :-) The fish dish also looks great. And that grilled cheese! Yum! Another great food tour!

    The first time I went to Indonesian restaurant in Melbourne I ordered ikan goreng and I was so surprised when it came with the head. But the taste was amazing. So this pecel Lele reminded me of that. Anyway that was a sweet kiss you gave to the fish Nick 😂
    The roti bakar and pisang bakar look so good.
    We miss Jakarta 😭

      Only In Australia everytime we read comments mentioning Melbourne we are like 😍😍😍 we are Melbournians too.
      Yesss we also love ordering ikan goreng with the head at Indonesian restaurants in Melbourne, especially from Es Teler 77, with only $15 you get whole fish with rice, sambal, salad and soup 🤤🤤🤤

      haha asian people gotta love chicken feet haha :P! yeah the nasi goreng was nice but was a little wet for me.. they made it like arabic style :D - i prefer the high heat wok cooked to order.. this seems such a big portion felt like a buffet XD

    O yeahhhh nick got the indo tounge can handle spice eh hahaha 😁 nice to see marissa coming through real with the food review too. The chicken feet dish looks very interesting lemon grass and turmeric sounds like it would complement the dish quite well. Great video nick helmi and marissa!

      haha thx guys :D! - yes ive been trained by helmi eating spicy stuff lols.. :D ya we had to be authentic and honest about our review.. it wasnt our preference for the nasi goreng :D i prefer the crispy one the one they cook to order on high heat high flames.. i felt this felt like a buffet more arabic style.. XD haha

    The Indonesian noodle soup looked particularly awesome. Liked which dishes you guys chose to highlight, definitely showed some stuff that we’d never heard of and now would love to try.

    Martabak manis / terang bulan is definitely the most ultimate Indonesian dessert we all have to try whenever we visit any city in Indonesia.

    Always always love the sambal that accompanies pecel lele with it.

    Wow, the pan is really big. And it's been around since 1958?! That's really long! Chicken feet are also popular in Korea, it's supposed to have a lot of collagen, but I never tried it yet! The martabak indeed looks delicious, I'd really like to try that!     Hey guys 😄 loving the collab! Shame the first place didn't taste so good, the food looked yummy! Haha love that the second place translates to fat?! Thats funny! Never tried chicken feet... Do they have a weird texture? Gooey jelly makes it sound a bit gross 😂 all of the food you are trying are so unique... Cheese, chocolate and condensed milk? That sounds like such an odd combo. Looks yum though!

    Marissa, di Jakarta, ada tempat kuliner di daerah Pecenongan kaki lima, ada Kepiting saus Padang, saus tiram, terkenal lezat.
    Di Mangga Besar, ada resto Kwetiau sapi siram, kwetiau goreng ,terkenal.

      yea :D we had to be honest there - we'll they did more arabic style.. which was a little soggy/wet - i prefer the more high wok fires.. cooked fresh to order and slightly burned and crispy :D delish!

    Mmm, I always love street food. Who was the secret camera holder when you guys tasted that amazing chocolate and cheese dessert? Haha, Helmi..dessert queen :) 1st time trying catfish??? I personally like it without the head, but that works too. ;p Mmm, cheese and chocolate sandwich, my girls would love that!

    When you guys said cheese and chocolate we were like hmm🤔not so sure...but then you added condensed milk 🤤oh man we want to try this soo bad!!
    Ohh man the whole catfish scene went from funny to hilarious when it got to the head 😂and that injury, we weren't sure Nick was gonna recover 🤣. All those deserts, which do you guys think was the yummiest?

    Travel and Might as well Food trip right?! Im filipino and I noticed we have common words with Indonesia! 1:30, KAMBING (goat)! hahaha. That meat is amazingly tasteful! But it takes time to cook so as to make that goat meat tender. The lengthy cooking time worth it:)

Might have to nick that 😉....can't beat a bit of grease now and again. Tried some murtabak in KL but it had cold cold... Not the best 😕. Sambal loveliness 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Eating with your hands is such a great experience. Roti and Pisang to finish... Delicious 😍
