Me too. My 6 often stops recording the dispatch if there is a pause or an extended period of that loud static sound.
@@ml9867that’s just a programming issue. It can be fixed for a longer duration
I noticed that some of the tones sounds like the old emergency tv show😅
how many channels does it have ?, Is it vhf UHF
@@georgespeck8761 5 Frequencies, 8 knob positions, and mine is VHF but you can order it in both VHF and UHF
How many channels can you actually program in and listen to other then the main channel
5 channels total, Normal Scan up to 5 channels, Priority Scan up to 5 Channels, Silent scan 2 channels only.
is it very hard to program ?
@@georgespeck8761 it’s the same as the Minitor VI, it’s not hard to program if you know your frequencies and your tone frequencies
Do you think the receive is the same as the 6 or better? Like distance receive?

It's about the same, really, it's just a 6 in a more significant case and the ability to scan all 5 freqs if you chose.
