- A poor day weather wise so I took the opportunity to visit another of Cumbria's excellent indoor attractions. Join me as I have a look around The Lake District Coast Aquarium at Maryport. I checked out the exhibits, listened to one of the informative presentations and had a coffee in the cafe. Definitely well worth a visit if you're in the area.

I keep meaning to head over to the maryport aquarium from over here in carlisle, mind you I'm not far off having my own aquarium at home with the amount of fish tanks about 😂

It’s a great little aquarium, I prefer it to the bigger Sea Life style aquariums, well worth a visit. Thanks for watching. 😀👍🏻

What a great place to visit .we have the sea life centre in Southend on sea , this aquarium in maryport looks a lot better with lots more to do , I’ll give the moray eels a miss though , not sure what it is but they freak me out.
