I love the deco buildings.
Deco is tha bomb!
A very nice venue! A beautiful Dog! Thanks! 😎
Thank you I like viewing these old Art Deco Theaters and townships, and the chops of Leland and Brad talking shop is music.
The best part of the Leland's video tours is the pure wandering nature of it. 😉
Another beautiful old Art Deco Theatre.
Have a fabulous gig.
Thanks Leland for making us visiting all these wonderful places and your musician life
What a work ethic with that sax guy, every video he’s practicing!!
thank you very much Sir Leland +Sir Brad all ways the best !🍇🍈🍉🍊🍋🍌🍍🥭🍎🍏🍐🍑
So cool. Thank you for all you do - especially for those of us who are vulnerable and not able to travel.
There are a number of us ✌
These videos are wonderful.
Very cool sax eminating from the Uptown Theater. So very Cool thanks for the Vid. Guessing he likes the echo off the tiles. I knew I violinist warmed up in the tiled washrooms in the basement of the concert hall, loved the the natural echo.
Memories of a time in my life with scales and Charlie Parker's 'Salt Peanuts' emanating from an apartment building hall closet. 🎶 💐 💜
Thanks for the tour!!!!
I was the house manager for the Pantages in Hollywood (I'm sure you've been there). It's really cool to see some of the great theaters around the country. Thanks, Lee!
You must have some great stories!

Lee Sklar…Mr. Ubiquitous and Brad the man with great sax appeal. Love you guys!!!! 👍😁
Every venue should have a sound dog :)
Awesome Theater, thank you sir!
Ha Ha Ha, Brad cracks me up!! So glad he’s on your team Lee!! Every time you track the soulful sounds of his saxophone to this wonderful human being, the graceful interaction you both have, demonstrates how your friendship continues to grow. In my opinion, with Brad, you have a friend for life! Have a great day!!
Not just a dog, a Belgian Malinois 😊
Yes, that did look and acted like one. 😉 "Behavior. Belgian Malinois are profoundly confident and protective. They are never affectionate towards strangers; this dog breed only expresses their love to the family members, making them an excellent choice for a family dog. Since they are originally herding dogs, their guarding and watchdog skills are impeccable."
@@artemisXsidecross I know all that, we have a beautiful two year old female Belgian Malinois 🦮
Luck works much better if you've put in the effort to develop yourself so that you can take advantage of it!
Such a gorgeous venue... enjoy!
It works best if the only audience needed for any success is your own heart and mind working in unison.
i love it when just after you interview the sax and move off , please notice the extremally wild notes and melodies
Every time I switch on Google Maps and travel with You, Mr. Leland!!!
Hey! Onward from 1401!
What a beautiful theater! You know, I live in a small town in the ecuatorian coast and there's no theaters around here. All the closest theaters are in Guayaquil and it is 3 hours by bus from here. I'm the bass player in a local band and we usually play in local clubs and pubs but I always dream of playing in places like that. That's why I love these videos.
You ARE everywhere, Leland! And on July 19th, Calgary will welcome you ❤
I could quite easily fit into the town of Napa' s sedate way of life Mr Sklar ! A beautiful town , weather to get you mobile , peace and quiet forever ,with you and the
Professor , Mr Brad ,as the local entertainment from time to time ...what's not to like ? Stay well .
Good morning, Lee! 🥰
Haha, hey Brad! Loving that sax playin'! 👋 🎷🎶🎵
I agree with Brad, Lee. The world is definitely your sandbox. Nice looking venue. Hope you guys had a great show. Getting closer to seeing you guys next month. 😁
Watched 1400 , too many comments for me to say how much I appreciate you Leland and for your generosity in doing these great videos with stories which I love, music history was always my best classes. Love the sax player as always too! Thanks young at heart bas player ❤much love, until next time ✌️-Thomas
Brad's becoming the Star of your channel Leland. Have a Great show. Beautiful venue.
Beautiful venue and yet another tight fit on stage. Hope all goes well. Thanks❤️👍❤️👍
Hi Tom.
@@Mark_Brooks Hey, Mark.
Nothing like a little Bill Conti to put a spring in one's step! "Yo, Bradrian.... I didn't do it. But I tried, dammit, I tried!"
I can hear a sax! Found Brad lol!!♥️🌻😃The ceiling & the coloured amenties are beautiful. I have enjoyed the playful banter today. Enjoy the gig tonight & trust you had an enjoyable day off ♥️🌻😍😎
I like how humble Brad is too…. Love love 💕 love ❤️
🐕🐕That is one chill puppy!
What a great venue!
Everything you said about Brad we see as true. One great musician who still practices everyday to keep up his chops. And what a wonderful personality. The venue seems cramped on stage. Napa a great place to get wine.
That was Funny..Brad 🎷
It's Lelands World and we're just living in it..😂❤😂🌎✌ 🎸 🎶
MUST-SEE UA-cam TV; Brad & LEE.. always! 👍🏾
I await...."The Brooks Report."
Me too 😉
Hi fellas.
@@Mark_Brooks
👍
No pressure....
What a variety of sites you have to play at. From an open amphitheater, to a Art Deco beautiful building, to a smoke shack all within 72 hours apart.
Exhausting routine this traveling crap, but very rewarding to entertain all Lyle's fans.
As Franky Blue Eyes said: "That's life...!"
Have a good gig tonight.
Greetings from Mexico City
🎷💜😎🎷💜🎷🎶Brad 😊 hi Leland! Exactly Brad.... who has he not worked with ❤Beautiful Venue
Leland :"Scotty Mccrerry, I did his album", Brad: "Whose album do you not do?" Just adore both of you...mutual respect and genuine good souls.
That’s it, all of these videos, you’re just creeping around… Thanks for the videos!
What a gorgeous theatre, Leland. Thanks for sharing and have a great night! 🍷 (Even though I am aware you don’t drink.)
Tell all in the band to have fun tonight. Tell Lyle a BIG HELLO for us.
Great to see from the marquis that The Mavericks are still touring!
You would never know it by looking around, but Napa is on the edge of an ancient volcanic caldera called the Cup & Saucer Volcanic Center.
Thanks for share ✌🏻
Oh, I thought you were talking about Napa Auto Parts! Anyway, this is better.
Funny
Tour time👍🤣
Tonight there will be a little uptown groove happenin' at the Uptown theater
Awesome video, sax intro and I’m not far away from there….. You Are Inspiring brother! 🪶
😎✌👍❤🖖
Love Brother
I appreciate you, thank you for making content.
Arnold Palmer once said after someone asked him “Why do you practice, your such a lucky player.” His response “It seems the more I practice, the luckier I get !”
I was at my sister's house mowing her lawn and doing some odd jobs. She has arthritis.
You are a good man and brother; you still put out the current venue location information too 👍
👍
Not a bad seat in that house. I'm starting to really love Brad's laugh - particularly when you surprise him!
Happiness of there being a dog.🥰
Love the Creepin’ moniker. Also, I’d love to see you react to Stevie Wonder’s song Creepin’. Only two people on that track. Stevie on all the instruments and lead vocals, and Minnie Ripperton on background vocals.
Scotty McCreary was on American Idol, we watched that season.
Lovely theater. A little surprised there's no basement, even a small one. The doggie thought who was this man with the camera??? As always, thanks for the walk around.
Hi Brad♥️✌️🎷!!!!
So when you started to showcase this venue, I immediately saw that ticket booth out front kind of like the El portal theater. I don’t think you’ll be able to answer this question but the architecture always seems to be in a gold bronze color do they ever have the venues in a silver tone maybe you can ask somebody at the next venue.
Not a bad Tuesday
I hope to hear from some of the artists. Just 3 minutes with each so we can know them better. 😀
#1
After careful review by the judges and instant replay, it is determined that yes Tobisimmons9889 is declared 1st.
"... go in the back door, like any good musician." Love it, Lee! A musician: someone who practices their whole life to load $5000 worth of gear into a car worth $500 to drive 50 miles to a gig that pays $25.
♥
Hi Lee!
Ladies and Gents. Behold Lee Sklar in his element... smack dab in the middle of a big Ole tour!
Brad you Ham!
Tell Brad we all said hello
I hear Brad!!!! Where’s his case for tips?
Ahhh... the human side of touring - thanks Lee (yes dogs make it better!)
I think I would buy on of those short albums with bass and brad doing the these 5th key, mode’s and adjustments Those modes traversing the light fanteec, with a singer like uh, think Gaga could handle it
did Brad have his case open for tips? 😁
Found Brad!!!!!!
Just curious, do you wait to start filming until Brad starts practicing, or does he really practice every waking hour?
He does this everyday! I find him. Not a set up!!!!
How did Brad get to the Uptown Theatre? Practice.
You know!!!!
Napa was the last gig and show for the late Glen Campbell. Same venue? IDK........ You must have played or recorded with him I'm sure, bunch of studio rats...... love ya!
Loved working with Glen.
My question too…whose album are you not on?
Hi,they are Called dogs but, real dogs rarely have 4 legs 🤫😉🙋🏻♂️🙏
😃😃
when you chat to brad, is he wearing earphones, so that he can play along with anything or just what he likes to play along with...
Are any of the guys using in ears?
I think Russ and the singers do. Everyone else is on wedges.
@@lelandsklar6363 Thank you for the info
"the Sax" machine, great one. Leland, you are so humble so normal I would love to have a beer with you and shoot the shit (I am a misesrable Bass player he he , my mind is too much in my keyboards.) but people, realize who Leland stood on stage with and yet he is sooo normal. Kudos to you all the time buddy.
home of auto parts ?
Yes, there is a Napa in Napa. Best auto parts store in town.
im going there to see the sinseers. i bought 2 tickets , is one section all even numbered seats ? both my seats are even numbers, i would like to sit next to my wife…😂😂
1st!
Oooh, is it a tie or a photo finish? 🏆🏆 to you both!!!
@@SoundsFair--M-and-J By a nose.
