This video is the seventh video of the series showing the construction of the Montego Bay Perimeter Road. In this video we will be looking at the progress of the work been done on the leg of the road from the Saltspring to Cornwall Court area. Taking a look at the bridge that been completed, which under construction the last time we visited the site, the passage that was cut through the mountain and the roadway now underway near the Portobello area.

You give credit to both administrations. The blueprint for this infrastructure was done by the PJ Patterson administration? All of the blueprints on all the highways in Jamaica are done by Stanley Consultant from the United States of America.

This infrastructure work is a part of the original north coastal highway? The original North Coastal highway was to run from Negril to Port Antonio through the mountain range and the highway 2000 is going to tie into this infrastructure that's taking place.

My guess its traffic for future development! Its good size. Look at the previous highway bridges that they built and how those type of bridges are used
