  • ~TODAY'S VID:
Today I am testing HTP 93 Wicks with 464 Golden Brands Soy Wax. Instead of buying all separate supplies to achieve this result, I decided to purchase a candle making kit that included everything I needed to avoid spending more money.
Candle making kits are a great way to test different wicks, jars, fragrance oils and recipes while in the testing phase or when trying to discover your product line - all to enhance your skills before launching a candle biz. Enjoy 🙂
P.S. I do keep a log of video ideas and suggestions, so more videos down the pipe. Thank you so much the support, feedback, recommendations, comments, and encouragement!

@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo I think I may have overheated my wax. I made testers with 6% and 10% fragrance load (same FO just different percentages) and my tops look like cottage cheese. I am using a coco soy blend. Any suggestions?

I bought some candle tins with lids from amazon (4 oz and 8 oz) for the most part. They're relatively cheap to learn with. I will change my vessels as I get better and plan to start selling them.

    Hi there!
Do you use a glue gun and if so, what temperature does it operate at? I am nervous to buy the high temperature glue guns that go up to 193 degree C /380 degree F because they can give third degree burns. Low temperature glue guns (170 - 250 degrees F) still burn but are not hospital trip burns.
One youtuber said that the high temperature glue guns are the ones to get, but even then he said the wicks can occasionally come loose. He said stickers are not reliable. But I have seen most UA-camrs just using stickers, so am confused why some people need extreme glue and others don't.
    What would you recommend?
