Rather ironic you celebrated Danearys and Jon's relationship as not being incest when we found out that she's his aunt.
HAHAHA MY BAD
This is a great example of how to best spoil one of the greatest tv shows for yourself.
“RIP Raisin Bran, you will not be missed.”
That aged like skin less avocado.
The Season 6 finale is better series finale then Season 8.
just watched it -- so cool! it even felt like a series finale!?
YOU BETTER POST ITTTT
@@EmmaLucilleYTB post it PLEASE
Here’s what happened: the writers ran out of books to use and also kicked the author out of the later seasons due to their own ego even though the first 4 seasons were the best cuz he was involved in the show
They left the plot way before they ran out of books.
The big mistakes started in season 4
@@EmBlanca that and season 5 made Tyrion into a drunk idiot like he’s suppose to take a dark turn actually all the characters are taking a dark turn including jon being more ruthless that is until he gets betrayed and Dany even sensed what happens to him and starts crying
They totally ignored the last two books so they didn't really run out.
Honestly the original chair scene with Tyrion and Cersei was peak comedy for game of thrones
Glad to know the intro singing is a human instinct, been feeling weird for ten years
of COURSE
It's really the journey that matters.
true! i have been reading all about it since watching and it is really fascinating. i think i'll get started on reading the books, as i'm more into reading//wanna get the whole story. :)
@@EmmaLucilleYTB Good choice! I started reading a few months ago after seeing the show. I just finished book 3 and will buy books 4 and 5 shortly.
All the best from the Netherlands!
@@FredtheFrisian love that! happy reading!
Agree with you
Honestly, fascinating to me seeing people do this. WIsh more peopel sacreficed themselves for this like you do.
thank you for the kind words in this sea of negativity hahaha
@@EmmaLucilleYTB I justt got an idea, PLEASE, do a reaciton to Honest Trailers for GOT. Non one who hasn't already seen the whole show has done that.
What happened with the zombies? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
alright y'all, the peer pressure has paid off, i will give the show a real go! but i think i'll start w the books! :)
Well it’s kinda too late cos u know most of the shocking scenes that drew me in.
@@netrunner2326 ah well, you're not wrong! but i know there are so many more pieces of the story i'm missing, and i'm glad that making this gave me that push anyhow :)
@@b-six-twelve very true! a weird order to have gotten to it, but i love reading everyone's thoughts about it all and am actually still really excited now that i'm going into it with so much perspective + have heard from everyone how good the earlier seasons are. thank you!
Give us some book reviews, too, please!~
The books aren't finished yet. You should watch the show first and wait until the author finishes the books to start them
If you ever decide to watch House of the Dragon, be prepared because incest and the "sister-wife" thing (or with any other family member except with parents) is tradition between Targaryens to maintain their blood pure. And yes, some people don't care really about "they are siblings" thing if they ship them. Now, if they see other siblings or family members that they do not ship or like being involved in an incestuous relationship they think it's nasty. I don't understand.
I only thing that could get my attention away from Thursday night football (of all things) is a video post from Emma 💕
YAYYY!!!
Geeeeeey jk siiiiiiiimp
I'm about to ruin Jon and Daenerys' relationship for you. She's his aunt...
that is absolutely hilarious omg
I will watch Emma do anything and that includes watching her watch a disappointing conclusion
MWAH
I personally did not like the 8th season feel like the show peaked at around season 6, also it probably would have done you better to have watched the second to last episode .
ur right, will def watch the first and last two of whatever one i do next. but i will say ive been spoiling the whole thing for myself by reading about everything that happened and WOAH
Saying the show peaked at around season 6 is like saying Supernatural peaked at around season 6, absolute blasphemy!
@João Pinto the reason season 6 was at peak, due to the last two episodes. But I agree too that season 6 is not the bes season
Oh no! Everyone knows the last episode is season 6 episode 10. The last 2 are fever dreams
“I was expecting it to be more graphic than that.” Oh my sweet summer child… *1 second later* winter is here 😂
Watch season 6 episode 10 and forget EVERYTHING you saw after it. I always stop there and lie to myself that season 7 and 8 never happened and the story is left to my imagination.
Sadly you should have watch all of GOT, then you would had a better understanding. You missed WAY too much in the middle.
You've only seen the first and the last episodes and yet you came at the exact conclusion as me who watched all the seasons. lol Yes, S8 is a trainwreck. To me GOT ends in S07, which is still pretty bad, but not quite as bad.
I thought this was a pretty clever and amusing way to experience the hype and downfall of this series.
Yeah, the ending was... bad. The quality of the writing went down towards the end. The last season was disappointing - very showy, but lacking in substance, and it felt very much hurried.
defo watch it all
lady, youtubers have done this before, and always gets a lot of hate, because you did just ruin one of the best series of all time that holds the record of most Emmy awards in television history, real shame. should've just reacted to the show and got a a huge amount of subs
Never judge a book my it's first and last page.
Just came here, this is a fun idea! I hope you get the rest of the context later, it's worth it!
absolutely! i'm thinking of posting season-by-season reactions, or maybe one big one? not sure yet, but excited to find out everything. :)
I didn't feel invested in a show I didn't watch
i can be invested in anything, as long as i find it interesting! like the first ep :)
I love your concept. HAHAHA
thanks so much :D
All of what you said EXACTLY. just annoying on the finale.
Suddenly remembers loads of important parts of the show. Don’t act at the start as if you have no clue
What happened? A whole show. 🤨
'what happened' was in reference to the rating drops between seasons! of course the show passed, but i, someone with fresh eyes and little knowledge of the series, was curious to get a look into why many many fans didn't like the last ep. comparatively. :)
@@EmmaLucilleYTB because they thought it would have a happy ending. It was rushed but the ending didn’t surprise me..my take on dany was that she was slipping since season 4. Whenever someone starts to refer to themselves in the third person, narcissism has set in. I think it’s also important to remember that roberts rebellion only lasted about 20 years..yeah, bran is king- for now. Targaryens sat on the throne for three hundred years and there is still a Targaryen loose in the world. Bran has no heirs and no ability to produce any. And there may be a clutch of dragons eggs laid under the crypt In winterfell. Not to mention drogon is still flying around. It ain’t over yet. I loved the series..all of it. I love the world and there was no ending. Just where they stopped filing. In my mind these people continue. ❤️
@@cmo9400 ooh, i see, and i totally agree about the third-person thing, that's really observant but true. and actually yeah, that open-endedness actually is quite cool IMO. loved this take! starting the books today, and then onto the show! :)
@@cmo9400 No one thought it would be a happy ending dont spread lies. Every episode 9 is tragic but its good writing. The rating fell in last season because the writing fell off. Be honest. Nothing has ever been happy about this show but we still enjoyed it.
@@seriuslyB don’t call someone a liar..most people whining wanted a white knight ending. Look at the comments. Don’t slander people you don’t know.
You are rather delightful. Thank you for sharing your humorous reactions.
Nope not siblings. Shes just hus aunt.
This is like a crime, no, a war crime. But still, good video.
HAHAH, well, i will be watching the show in full if it's any consolation. thank you all the same!
All the plots.
There's still really good portions of the show that have a story and have amazing character growth in many of their characters. Though I will always say the first 6 seasons were great, but pass the majority of the books it stagnates or some people even regress. Cool visuals with great moments still seasons 7 and 8, and I would have been fine with the last 2 seasons if I felt like they would have earned those moments. Like Bran being crowned king. If they made the story better to get to the part I would have absolutely been fine with those moments. So I hope things like House of the Dragon and the future GOT esque series, Snow come out to have pretty good overall stories.
You should do this with the Hannibal series
😶
The ending failed basically every character
Bran is short for Brandon.
Please do this for house of the dragon as well
That would be especially hilarious because every actor except Daemon is different! 😅
season 7 was end
Witerawy tho like she just like daenerys fr
i WISH
@@EmmaLucilleYTB but boffa blond?!?!!
I'm glad you didn't invest years of your life with this series bc the way D&D ruined this show made me feel like I did
It was cool and all, but you missed the best part. The journey.
you should do the same with house of the dragon!
Sorry to be that guy but Jon and Daenerys ARE related xD Aunt and nephew hahaha
nah, dont bother watching the show after doing that
reading the books atm and having a blast so we'll see
This is weird to me to spoil the show for yourself and THEN decide if you want to watch it. Part of the excitement of watching anything is to see how the drama unfolds organically. If you know who is alive in the final episode, it takes away from the journey they have when you go back and watch it = "Oh, he'll be okay! I saw him in the last episode!"
But it doesn't matter in this case. As good as the show is, the books are better, have more detail, and will end vastly differently than the show according to the author so at the present moment you can't REALLY spoil the series for yourself even if you wanted to. The books actually end where season 5 ended. The rest is made up from tv authors.
No one knows how the series will end not even people who were involved with the actual show. Most people speculate that the aged author of the books will die before he finishes but I'm sure he's already planned for that with extensive notes and a ghost writer.
Hope you enjoy it. I'm sure your subscribers will be waiting to hear from you!
I started Breaking Bad because I happened to be at a friend's place and they watched the series finale. That was my first episode. The show still really worked for me even though I knew where it all was going.
Warning, spoiler-ish!!!: Interesting. Well as probably the single most aggressive defender (!) of the ending/ last season(s) (just check out the videos I made about it) I'm glad you don't appear to definitely hate the last episode watching it out of context, that helps make my point, I guess 😄 And since you've already "spoiled" it for yourself, I hope you don't mind if I explain, trying not to go into detail too much, that the biggest problem is Daenerys, who's "turning evil" is said to have been "rushed" and "not earned" etc. The thing is that that's not actually what happens, it's more like she's arguably a villain from the beginning, depending on the perspective anyway ("a villain is a hero of the other side" / "Everyone's the hero of their own story" / "No one's a villain in their own story"- George R.R. Martin), but the story, as a huge provocation (which many were understandably not happy about, I guess, but that still doesn't mean it's "badly written", not for what it was supposed to be anyway, which there was a misunderstanding about, comparable to if someone eats, say, a hamburger, and goes "Yuck, what a cr***y chocolate cake" 😆) goes out of its way to make us perceive her as this awesome badass, likable character who does charitable things (which are actually very questionable if one stops to really think about it for a second) etc., using every manipulation (not to say propaganda) trick in the book, like introducing her to us as a victim, as if that automatically makes her a good person... Edit: I should make clear that I don't (!) think the last season(s) / episode(s) is/ are pure gold or something. Well, GRRM's story is fantastic, the way the show executes it is.. solid imo (and a lot of people don't seem to make that distinction at all, by which I mean they actually hate what GRRM is trying to say with it, acting like the way the show's writers executed it is the problem or (!) like they just made up their own, random ending which makes zero sense, that's part of the problem...)
awesome reply, thanks! i read this comment to my huge GOT fan/friend, and even they (someone who didn't love the end) really liked your wording/framing of things, especially about the moral complications and structure of the daenerys arc. and i'm excited to give the show a watch with that in mind!
lol dimwits still defend this dumpster fire of a ending? man no matter how much you cry that only you could see the brilliance of the show's ending doesn't change the fact that it will be remembered as the worst downfall of a series ever. LOL man the brilliant show runners must be drowning in work since this " greatest season ever " oops that's right they haven't worked since this most awesome ending
i know this shit is trending watching the first and last episode thing but you don't do that with shows like game of thrones, what is wrong with you
i am insane
I'll be brief but I have to speak up. I'm a professional media analyst but yet I'll defend the last two seasons as not as bad as everyone wants to make them seem. Were movements sped up? Sure. Ws there a coffee cup? Oh heavens, it ruined all 8 seasons didn't it? I DO find it interesting that the people doing reaction videos to GoT (Not House of the Dragon) now just aren't having the same issues with the show later on as the main group did during the first run. I think that's a fair question. Did a few loud complainers with big outlets get everyone thinking the same way?
As for Dany's character turning out as she did, did you miss her smack-talking her brother as he got molten gold poured on his head in episode 6?
loved the take! even i remember the whole world freaking out over that coffee cup lol. and that's a very interesting point, i'll have to see once i get there (everyone has convinced me to watch it)! and WHAT?! that's so sick hahah i can't wait to see that!
I think the biggest issue with how season 8 was perceived was the very long break in between 7 and 8. It was nearly 2 years if memory serves. It gave everyone too much time to guess and speculate. A lot of fan had built up in their minds how it should go because of that. If you go back and listen to podcasts or watch videos from the time you’ll notice most complaints start out with “I wanted.” So you had that two year build up and when it didn’t go how people had planned in their heads, that’s where a lot of the anger came in. I’ve watched a couple of people who watched it after and they seem to feel 7-8 are a little rushed at points but they don’t have the anger that fans who watched it first run did, if that makes sense
@@missliss2581able super great perspective, thanks for informing me! loved the thought process and def. agree, the 'i want' framing is something i've for sure heard, and i hadn't known/considered the impact of such a big time break.
I actually recently watched this show first time, and you aren't missing much. I did it to understand why people love it so much. And you are kind of right...incest is a big part of it why most people like it. Second one is sadistic fantasies. Story itself has no point, it's like a soap opera with more sex and violence. Speaking about incest...Jon and Dany actually are related...he is actually (spoilers!) son of her oldest brother that died when she was a baby. And ice zombie boss was killed by Arya and that was game over for all of them.
one of the dumbest comments i've ever seen lmao. GoT literally hold the record of most Emmy awards in tv history, at it's peak, literal bars around the world were putting it on a big screen like it was the super bowl, the whole world was watching. on top of blatantly purposely trying to spoil the show for her, you sound moronic, salty, and clueless af haha
I don’t think people like it for its incest. They like it for the writing. Until of course the last two seasons.
@@tee_saw Writing is not that smart since the beginning. All main plot movers are chance and that's stupid...like wife of Stark by accident finding that midget at the tavern and imprisons him. Or Danny gaining an army in most stupid way possible (I'm going to sell one of my dragons, ooops, I lied-you die) etc. No, it's just a soap opera elements + sex, sadism and violence that attracted people.
No cause like I sort of agree with you? the writing was interesting like after finishing s1 you start to root for certain characters become so invested with the politics of it all. but as the seasons progress, i was so frustrated with the plot points they abandoned and how one dimensional some of the characters had turned out.
If you're just going to censor the words why even bother saying them?
they're fun to say! but it can get me stricken/demonetized if i don't censor them unfortunately hahah
You really should just watch the dam show... you are missing the best show in history.
i keep hearing good things, so i'll give it a go! it's just the gore that i struggle to get through tbh.
@@EmmaLucilleYTB lol. There is lots of gory in it. It is a commitment 73 episodes. Maybe do reaction videos. This show is very very detailed, lots of foreshadow and easier eggs throughout. Every word spoken , every scene means something at some point. All your questions will eventually be answered. This show is like no other....if you actually immerse yourself in the world, it will make you feel every emotion on the spectrum.. it feels real... it will break you down but you can't stop watching.. there is a reason there is so much Fandom around the show. If you do reaction videos, we thronys will be here to guide you through and be there wheb it breaks your heart. We are all sadist waiting for reactors to get to certain episodes. If you do good luck with this insane world. It's a wild ride. We can only warn you so much but you'll find out. 😁
@@black-widow33 ah, that's so sweet! yeah, i just hear SO much good about the show and i adore in-depth/fantasy stories so i actually get why everyone tells me to watch it hahah. i hadn't thought about filming my watch through, but that actually might be really fun. maybe i could do one per season? but thank you for the sadist support
Missing the greatest first half of a show
Great concept i liked it :) I wanna add my piece in the comments ahah just to say I really like the seasons 6&7 (most of my favorites episodes are in there). And I don't think season 8 was as bad as people say even if I totally see what's wrong with it
Hahaha the cat video
i told you it was legendary
Bran is not even a person really
lol not fun you miss a world of emotions
You were totally me watching the finale. Daenerys deserved better, and Jonathan should have been eaten.
This is hilarious.
much love!
The finale is fantastic actually. Just misplaced grievance from a worm for brains fanbase.
It´s simple. People got caught up in their own theories and ideal conclusions, as well as wanting specific things for specific characters. They get bogged down in what they wish the show was and miss what it actually was "I wanted something different to happen" = "bad writing". The s8 backlash was the most ridiculous behavior I have ever seen and that´s why the GoT "fandom" is the worst ever!
loving the positive perspective, and it's refreshing to see so many people agreeing with this mindset in the comments!
Don’t get me started on when people don’t understand something, they automatically say it’s bad writing. Some things are left to interpretation which is what they loved about the show in earlier seasons, but hate it the later ones. Doesn’t make any sense. Some people hate it just because that’s the popular opinion.
Nah it was literally just bad lol
The writing literally didn't make sense, thats why it was bad
There is no way you thought seasons 6-8 was coherent let alone good! I simply don’t believe you!
I’m in the vast minority but after season 3 I couldn’t stand Daneris and her whole entire story. People liked her for the dragons but she was vapid, winey, and for someone who claimed to be fighting for justice had more citizens killed than any other (look up Danny crucifition) that was a rant
Your long time fan from MA
i looked it up!! and uhhhh?? what the heck hahahah. she def deserves the heat for that, it's a shame that they couldn't have worked her arc better, since i was really into seeing her development from the first ep. :)
It seemed like George R Martin told the show runners her end game so they would sprinkle in bits of brutality. She’s also so beloved by so many people refuse to listen to any criticism or concerns over her character. Much like me with the 1980’s sunbow GI Joe cartoon
She crucified 163 nobleman in retaliation to them crucifying 163 children ALIVE!! I still don’t understand how so many people side with the masters, ridiculous
@@EmmaLucilleYTB she Crucified the nobles who crucified literal children ALIVE. She did the right thing it's funny how biased people just wanna make her the villain when she was far from it in the first few seasons
How did I forget the reason for the crucifixion an eye for an eye.

@giel suarz what a simp
Thinking IS fun. Also h̶o̶t̶ true take: Season 6 is worst than season 8.
ooooh now there's one i haven't heard
That's a dam lie...4 and 6 were the best but I also loved all of it.
The Season 6 finale is better series finale then Season 8.
The final two episodes of seasons 6 are better than all of season 8
Season 6 was hands down the best season of this show and episode 10 of that season is the best episode of television ever put to screen.
