    Paul Barrere is extremely underappreciated as a force in FEAT. Sure Lowell is a genius at being Lowell. Bill Payne plays with the Doobie Bros now. Richie and Kenny were so tight. I have seen FEAT 30 times. It was always a great show. I'll take any of these guys on a bad night vs the crap on radio today.

    Not the best performance but Little Feat on an off night is still better than 99.999% of all bands out there

    THIS is the greatest rock band ever , just in case there was any doubt . Being so good they were the "critics choice," and this crippled them financially in reality . A sad shame for such talented group .RIP Lowell and Richie , both the likes of which will never be seen again .

    Wow! L.George would be impressed. That drummer held everything together in true LF form and held the backbone. Well done Sir.

    They are old here. Richie was already sick then. They're playing a 35-year-old song, and, not having struck the pop-music money vein, still needed to tour at their ages. For all the joy and music they created over the years, they were grossly under-appreciated. They should have had it better.

      the mistake little feat made was trying to play some sort of jazz instead of sticking to rock and roll, their best song was Willin'..they went downhill after that lowell was the soul of that band and richie hayward was amazing

    It's arguable whether or not the band was still Little Feat once Lowell left, and particularly after Lowell's departure. But it's absolutely vapor without Richie.
    Heard them in Dallas in '09 or '10. The show was, sadly, but a garage band (no Richie in that show, at the Granada). Many walk-outs.

    Like the pencil tapping jam at the beginning. Nothing like tapping on a nice Strat through a clean Fender tube amp with a good ole' No. 2. Cool vid.

    For one thing Lowell George is missing here, the second this take is a complete miss without Paul Barrere's vocals heard either, to me this is a terrible cover and shouldn't have been released because it was lousy...

    • @newroadband3118
      @newroadband3118 3 роки тому +1

      Terrible cover? What? It's a Paul Barrere song sung by Paul Barrere. With the original players. WTF are you talking about?

      @@newroadband3118 I was probably drunk but Lowell really added to the record version, in 2021 it's dwindled even-more, I did like the Paul & Fred stuff they were doing... ☹
