Jeremy, are you using a seasoned carbon steel wok in this video? Is it ok to cook vinegar in a carbon steel wok? will it give off a metallic taste to the food? Please advise. Thanks!
My wife brought me one of your knifes and my god is it one of the best I've ever used it feels so comfortable and is super sharp and also your probably my favourite cooking channel on UA-cam ive tried a few of your recipes and they are fantastic 👏
Great recipes for pork belly! I just bought a primal at costco. With Ruby's Vindaloo I'll be set. The other half I plan on making American bacon. So yeah that's my favorite use for pork belly.
Great dish! I made it yesterday and it was fantastic. Did at some onion to the dish at add some more color. There is one downside. I made it for myself, but everyone loved it so much, now I have to prepare it for the whole family. I think I need a bigger wok!
I'm trying to make Char Siu for my Filipina wife for the first time tonight. It's in the fridge marinading. She's been asking me to make this for over 10 years.
Can this sauce recipe be used for pork trotters or hocks? I might even try it with some country ham that I have available, but I'll have to pre-cook it enough to remove most of the saltiness. This dish looks amazing so I'll be trying it in a few days. Thanks for sharing. Now I must eat. Lol.

Great recipe, so easy to make :) My top tip: substitute the tomato puree for chipotle pepper paste for a smokey bbq taste sensation!
Fantastic recipe! Have made it several times now
Hi. Looks fantastic. What are the spices you use while boiling the pork please? Many thanks.
Good vid. Would be great if you started with what to do when boiling...spices, cold or hot water, belly cold or room temp.

I made this yesterday, I couldn't believe that food came out of my wok, thank you immensely

If you’re going to use thin slice pork belly, what are your thoughts on thick-cut North American bacon? Does the processing change it too much?
The bacon would be much saltier, use a bit less light soy to compensate
Pork belly definitely my favorite cut. Insanely versatile and forgiving, as well as delicious. Thanks for the video.
Looks soooo good and yummy with steamed rice!

If I’d put the herbes into a Steamer, can the pork be steamed as well, instead of boiled?
I love your knife, how do I acquire one please
Excellent vid! One comment - when whisking in that little bowl, it was liking hearing nails on a chalk board🙄.
👌👌looks great
And all the fire alarms went off !!
What were the spices you pre boiled the pork with?
The recipe is in the description, I was also wondering until I saw that
Another great video.
I love Wok Wednesdays but what about Thok Thursdays?
Anyone wearing goggles while cooking has no place in a kitchen end off😂
Also added a tablespoon gochujang paste to the sauce for a little extra zing
High heat and high smoke smells your house. Should cook in the garage
