- I have throat cancer…once I was diagnosed I wanted to know more and found that UA-cam didn’t have anyone documenting their journey. So i am going to do that in hopes it helps someone having to deal with this.
My throat cancer journey will be different than everyone’s however the process of radiation therapy is basically the same. What’s not the same is the severity (stages of cancer) being treated and the physical effects vary by person.
Regardless this is my story. For everyone beginning this journey, during or after … tell urself just one more day.

I hope your treatments were successful. I had the same treatment, i found lying still under the mesh protection cover quite claustrophobic. My treatments were successful. Best wishes to you friend. Love from Scotland..
I had 35 radiation treatments and 7 chemotherapy treatments. I can’t grow a
Beard anymore. Still Soreness in my throat two months after treatment. Headaches off and on.
Constant dry mouth.etc..

I finished treatment 19 today, 11 to go! I have been nauseous almost the entire time, and I'm not going through chemo. I have tonsil cancer, so the radiation beam hits me a little higher than it did you, and my throat hasn't been too bad. Did your doctor have you gargle with baking soda/salt water throughout the day? I really want to know, because I'm curious if it helped you.
Hey only 11 to go …that’s awesome I remember the feeling as I counted those treatment down. I didn’t use anything as far as gargling or rinsing . I did get the magic mouth wash but never used it..I even made my own 😂…I suggest lots of ice cream and pop sickles …that got me through🤘🏼I pray for the best as u finish up these treatment…I hope they feel quick🤘🏼
