@ many years ago as in probably 25 years ago, I actually argued having to cut the points in the valley with my boss at the time, I told him it did nothing, not long after that he took me out on a roof leak in a valley, all he did was cut about 2 inches off of the top of each shingle point in the valley, it never leaked again. From then on I was an absolute believer.

Is interesting to listen to someone else's story on this one... I have had a similar (yet also different) experience with mine. I think for me the biggest point you make in this video is the one around recovery and how long it takes. This should in no way whatsoever be underestimated!!! I guess that point resonated with me in particular because that's where I am right now. I finished 6 weeks of daily radio and weekly chemo back on 22 Nov 2024 and am now finally turning that corner a bit more. I had such brutal pain from it that even swallowing water was a non starter for a while there. Had a RIG feeding tube fitted which will finally come out in a week or so (providing my weight stays stable...). I shall then be looking to progress my eating further (I can now just about take on a sirloin which is the main thing! Ha!!). However it is an arduous journey. Being an Agronomist I am missing being outside, walking fields, advising farmers on soil and all the rest of it. Sometimes this is hugely frustrating and quite frankly really pisses me off. Equally, I must also remember what I have been through. It's a lot... A FUCKIN' LOT!! All of us that have been through this have a great prognosis on the most part and realistically speaking we are all lucky it wasn't something much worse (I studied enough cancer biochemistry at uni to know it damn well could be!). Thank you very much for your video and the points of view you put across in it - means a lot to me to be able to relate to someone else on the majority of what you have to say about it. We're all different (that's just genetics right?! Come to that cancer has a lot to do with genes as well....) and therefore everyone's story will be different. It's just great to hear yours. Thanks man!! Greetings from the UK...

I finished up my proton radiation treatments this past week, and my throat felt the worst ever that evening and even now a week + later. I know it takes 4 to 6 weeks, but it can't come fast enough. I just hope that when I get my pet/ct scan, it comes out with no cancer. I wish the doctors would be more honest explaining what you'll be going through, but I'm sure it's so people don't back out. 2nd or 3rd week, it started getting ruff, but nothing like the evening of the last treatment. Oh Monday I'm asking the doctor to subscribe for me another bottle of the magic mouthwash. I can handle pain but still don't like it.

You are absolutely right as far as voice change goes i went hoarse and crackly, i had 2 benign polyps removed within 3 years, so please if you feel a hard lymph node call your doctor immediately ENT, other signs are it hurts to swallow whether eating or drinking, and you can feel burning sensation eating spicy food. But these are also beginning of stage 1 symptoms and if your blessed, please be diligent and go see your doctor as soon as you can. God Bless You and may all your days be happy, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

When I was 30, my voice went out suddenly. (October 2023) I went to multiple doctors, ENT’s, and in July 2024 was diagnosed with stage 4 laryngeal cancer at UVA. September 2024 I began radiation (60 rounds 5 days a week), and 3 rounds of chemo, 8 hours every 21 days. It’s now December 2024 and I have a few more weeks of radiation, I just did my last chemo Monday. (I’m currently still hugging a bucket of you know what I mean) I am using a feeding tube and praying my sense of taste comes back quickly. My throat feels like it’s cut to shreds and I can barely swallow without the pain making me vomit, on top of the ill feeling from the chemo. This has been a journey I cannot even describe in words but I pray every day that I’ll recover quickly from here and when radiation is over. All I can do is fantasize about eating, i never was a foodie but months of horrid taste change and not being able to eat has really changed my outlook on food and how much I will enjoy it in the future.

I'm getting radiation treatment for neck cancer. I've had 12 treatments so far. This weekend was ruff. My tung and throat feel burnt. I'm having a hard time swallowing. If it gets much worse, I may consider stopping the treatments. I'm now also taking ivermectin. I understand it can kill cancer. I'd like to see the treatment through, but if the pain becomes too much, I may stop the treatment and look to alternate forms.

I’ll follow mate. Greetings from Australia. But -a warning- BEWARE !- there are people who actively seek out such vlogs so that they can hurt and do damage. Ok? You may encounter evil comments. Pass quickly by them, mate , and know this - that these people will be doing this on many channels. It’s not gonna be about you. Don’t answer , They want that. They want pain and attention--.those things are drugs for them to get off on. They're kinda like a poor man’s serial killer. I’ve seen them play their empty games on other people who are in real trouble. Good luck love. From a grandma in Australia. XO

Need your opinion brotha. Of course I won’t hold you to it😉. I have HPV cancer base of tongue on the right side only free of the lymphatic system at the earliest stage of 3. If I was at a 2 they would radiate only. Technically because I just stepped into a stage 3 the protocol is to now include chemo. Radiation doc said she’d be happy to treat me with no chemo but it’s my call. Word is HPV is very responsive to radiation. I really don’t want to toxify my body with chemo. Do you have a gut feeling about how you would proceed in my situation? I’m asking a lot. I get the impression that my radiation doc feels we can beat it with out chemo. She obviously won’t put her self in liability by telling me one way or another. Just looking for your experience gut feeling. I’m going into this with little pain or issues currently.

I had stage 2 HPV-16 oropharyngeal cancer. Removed right tonsil and then 7 weeks of radiation with once weekly cisplatin. The radiation is the toughest part (for me), the chemo was incidental. I finished treatment 9 months ago and no longer have a feeding tube, but taste and saliva are pretty much gone.

My uncle went to an ENT on and off for 4 years!! He was having ear pain, nose pain, difficulty swallowing but they keot saying it was either allergies, acid reflux or sinus infections. During his 3rd scope the doctor went completely white and blurted out "OMG its cancer, i can see it". Apparently it was more further down than usual. I dont know how he knew it was cancer before even having the mass biopsied, but thats word for word what he said. Hes had 60 rounds of radiation and chemo... he's lost a scar amount of weight, can barely eat or drink.. but were hoping for the best. We found out in December if he will be okay or needs more treatment. god bless all you diangnosed and/or in remission. Its been a tough road but were praying he will be okay.
