I’m so glad you survived! Thank God you went to the doctor. I started feeling ill on the morning of February 16, 2023. I woke up and felt something wasn’t right with my throat. I thought maybe a cold or something and shrugged it off, but by February 21, 2023, I went to the ER, not once, but (5) times over a 8 week period. I tested positive twice for MONO, but never had any swollen lymph nodes. Finally, on the 5th visit to the ER when pretty much all else was ruled out, the ER Dr told me to go to ENT soon. He said he has never known mono sore throat to last this long. Well, today is April 26, 2023, and I finally have my ENT appointment on

Beautiful story. I am listening to all stories of throat cancer survivor so I can pass their hopes and determination to live to my boyfriend. The worst part for him is not loosing taste but getting this unpleasant feeling of powder when he try to put any food in his mouth. I am hoping to hear anyone who can give any advice on how to deal with this awful texture, anyone who can help him feel better. Thank you.
