Thanks for saving me from taking mine apart. Seems well made inside and out. I'm very happy with mine, it performs well above it's price point. I wish there was a sheet on calibration procedure available, it looks as though there's a bit to it.

Overall two nice videos on the device. It would of been also nice to show it in operation with a comment on accuracy. Again thanks for the video, I just got one.

I got it directly from china factory, it just cost USD$40. It maybe the cheapest current clamp but it does help.

@NFM What is the hall effect ic? Does it limit the banwidth?

I just discovered and subscribed to your channel. Nice videos on the Hantek CC-65 but it would have been nice to actually do some measurements and look at some signals on a scope...

I wonder how it can measure AC current without a CT and just by two hall effect sensors?! I wish I could see the schematics of this clamp.

@NFM If i want to measure 3 phase power, then do you think it can give me exact values of power? do you think power measurement from one phase will be different compare to 3 phase?

Hello guys.I have bought from Ebay the same amper clamps,i have a problem to return it.But this was a problem:
After installing the battery, i feel the smell like ''burned electronic device''.Device do not react, like no battery power. Did anybody have a idea what it can be? By the way, excellent video :)

Very informative video sir thank you..I have a snap on low amp clamp and it doesn’t work . Do you know where I can send it to and have it repaired ? Maybe I can send it to you and you can repair it in a video and I can pay you for the repair ? Just a thought .

Can I use this to measure 3 phase machine tools power?

You can use it on one phase at a time with no problems.

if you want to do in the seroius way there is something called power quality equipment, this equipment can measure the three phases current at the same time (and a lot of other things)

great video. I don't trust anything hantek as someone who has owned their gear in the past. but, I am a hobbyist and not an expert and am open to any info.

I'm sure Hantek NEVER use their own products ... in 2021 the Zero button on ONLY the CC65 gets stuck down... Ie it travels too far down. Now why they can make a zero button work on the CC650 and not on the CC65? Use dielectric grease to resemble with luck those silly spring dual switch. Fixed the problem by putting an o ring to limit travel... Hantek 🤯🤡🤯 like the1008C automotive oscilloscope that fail near HV noise due to non sheilded usb cable...lol!

+Stephen Germiller thanks for the feedback. It's actually the same mic setup, but in a different environment. I'll tweak the settings and see how that goes in the next video. Cheers!
