I see you were in my home state. Red River Gorge is a beautiful area. I love the Cumberland Gap Tunnel and I saw in Colin’s video y’all were near Norris Lake. Love the area. Ride safe and great video
Hello BoDean, Love the chat between you and the Harley Day Rider. this was great. this was a fun ride. I love tunnels too. especially when it is hot or raining. Have a great day too. 💕NonnaGrace
I live in Northern KY - It's a whole different world in the Red River Gorge area. I take my bike there often, camping in the Gorge, hiking during the day, w/ Civilian MRE's & a portable water maker. Life is good in the Gorge!
It is beautiful there! We don’t have that much green and I miss it. And the Nada Tunnel is epic! Let’s talk about the sign… we have them EVERYWHERE! Bear and deer mostly.
I grew up around the Red River Gorge Rock climbing on the week ends camping wasn't much people back then your were riding on the Mt Parkway right where me and a friend got caught in a terrible thunderstorm at night I kept rain suits in an army bag and someone took them out and replaced them with old rags we got soaked. Oh the tunnel is pronounced Nay Duh but don't feel bad MotorcycleDen was saying it funny too. Anyway great video thanks for showing maybe will see ya on the road this summer me and the wife might start moto vloging.
Oh I have rode that? Didn't know it was called the Eye of the Dragon. Like VAMM21 we rode it in the rain. After that we rode to Bowling Green to see the Corvette Museum and stopped on the Bourbon Trial. Fun trip for sure.
Corvette Museum seems cool and we did not know the name of the road until later too. We found this great map that has all of the roads, they seem to name everything!
Yes Red River G is such a beautiful area. Really loved my time there. I did also check out a big huge rock bridge (name escapes me). Glad you all enjoyed the route. Just astounding, that area.
Nice ride. Love those small two-lane roads. I bet that hill assist woud be nice .Tunnel was cool. The best part of a motorcycle trip you find roads you have never rode and sites you have never seen.Even the Interstate looked epic. Always rev bomb in a tunnel I just can't help myself.
Welcome to the south my northern friends!! I love to ride in Kentucky. My son the HD master tech lives and works in Paducah, Kentucky the western side, so I often ride up there. Living in North Georgia I often ride in Tennessee since it's so close....Beautiful scenic rides in both states as well as western North Carolina.
@@BoDean52 Yup noticed that as I was scrolling through your video list to find what mirrors are these and saw them on the other bike also. Got the name so will see if they are available at my Harley dealer. Hopefully I get it as all parts shipments are delayed by months.
I could tell that you switched to 100% focus while going through the tunnel, cause you stopped talking lol..love your vlogs..and especially love the camera position you use! Keep em coming and I will keep watching!
Thanks and appreciate that. There were two problems, I had sunglasses on and was real dark, not real smart 😂. The second was I had a lot of weight on the bike and going so slow, I was getting some bad wobbling. It’s a real cool area to ride
@BoDean 52 I would love to go for a ride with you and HDR one day. If you guys ever get close to Fredericksburg Va., or Skyline Drive, which is a popular motorcycle ride in Luray Va , please let me know
We have driven some of Kentucky when we were down doing some of the bourbon trail. Beautiful area. We decided when there that the next time will be on the bike. That first tunnel would have given Mrs. NVA a panic attack. :) Beautiful ride. 👍
Beautiful area I need to look into that ride. I will be near by on my way to Tail of the Dragon but wasn’t planning to roll into Kentucky but may have to reconsider.
Thanks and it was awesome. As I was going thru the tunnel, I had the wife on the bike AND a full bike with a Rick Rack on it. It was a tad concerning lol
Was just down there for the HOG rally When we got to the NADA tunnel we had to pass thru a waterfall. It had been raining off and on all week. A few miles past the tunnel the road was closed. Had to turn around and back thru the tunnel We (9 bikes) were more than half way through when some idiot didn't want to wait his turn and started heading right toward us. We just stopped and waited for him to back his big white van back out. He also almost ended up off the road in the ditch.
We did not see a waterfall at all but a few people mentioned it. We saw the same issue with people coming in and out, has to be a better way. Ride safe!
@@BoDean52 Yeah….that skinny tunnel didn’t look like Squirrel Hill Tunnel, unless you had a “semi” leaning on you from the right lane; and it was rush hour and you were in the left lane😂👍
Wow! Thank you guys for sharing our ride! Great video and content.
Thank you, really appreciate that and ride safe
Nada tunnel is literally my back yard, awesome seeing you guys cruise through there
It was a lot of fun that day and some great riding around your place!
Kentucky is 100% on my "Ride before I'm toes up" list ....

I have got to get to this road!! Awesome ride!!
Thanks sir and it was a riot. There are so many good roads in that area that I think probably go unexplored. Ride safe

The Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky
Possibly Half-Moon Rock? The Red River Gorge is one of my favorite places.
Nice video enjoyed 😉👍
Thank you Larry
I took a similar trip in 2019. riding through Kentucky i was struck by how beautiful it was
Amazing area and some nice people
Kentucky is on my list for next year for sure. Maybe we could meet up sometime.
Sounds great Andy and Kentucky is awesome
Looks excellent. For most highways are a necessity. Now that was a tunnel! Quick question what is that yellow blinking light on the speedometer.
Thanks Pete and one of those go pro reflection deals I think, nothing flashing to me live. Ride safe

@BoDean 52 and I get it..sometimes you just gotta pucker up...things get hairy sometimes..whether it's tunnels or road conditions haha
WOW, what a great KY road. Glad you guys all got together.
Us too!
I really enjoyed this one! I laughed when you mentioned the women hadn't stopped running their mouths since you left! How typical!!! ROFL!!!!😆😅🤣😂🤙🇺🇲
Ooops I did say that 😂, thankful they don’t watch us 😂😂
Beautiful country down there at the gorge
Agree it is amaxzng Nathan!
We went trough that Tunnel last year it was great
It so was, will keep sunglasses off next time 😂. Beautiful area around there

Thanks it was a little sketchy especially two up with a big bag on the back of the bike and fully loaded. Amazing country down there
Beautiful area I need to look into that ride. I will be near by on my way to Tail of the Dragon but wasn’t planning to roll into Kentucky but may have to reconsider.
The extra 200 miles down to this would be worth it in my opinion. Enjoy your ride
Great video! Nice ride! What was the name of the long tunnel you went through at the end of the video?
Thanks Rusty appreciate that and honestly I don’t know we were kind of just driving through.
I'm from the Bluegrass State and I must admit that we do have some hidden Gems! I enjoyed the ride...
Thanks a lot Chris, really appreciate that. You live in a beautiful state I can’t wait to come back and ride some more
My backyard great roads
Amazing and some really nice people too!
Yep been there
I know I felt your presence
On that 1st tunnel, I would have to make sure I had my "Depends" on! The 2nd tunnel would be great. Oh BTW, Welcome to Tennessee!
Thanks and it was awesome. As I was going thru the tunnel, I had the wife on the bike AND a full bike with a Rick Rack on it. It was a tad concerning lol
I used to be a garbage man in Wolf,Powell and Lee counties been through that tunnel hundreds of times.
It’s an incredible area to ride
Hey Bo, where did you get the LED's in your gauges done? Mine are so dim I can hardly see them.
Came stock James
@@BoDean52 Wow, mine are dim yellow and they don't get brighter in the dark.
I live in east tn would love 2 go 2 Alaska on bikes this summer
Sounds amazing doesn’t it
hey bob we ride ketucky all the time and love it. where did you get the good bbq at. you guys have fun and be safe
thanks Donna and it was awesomne. The BBQ was at the Wild Things of Kentucky, not sure exactly where to be honest because the roads all ran together 😂

Lost with a navigation system, now that is really lost. ;)
Right......ride safe
Pretty awesome tunnel. But it good at low speed with uneven pavement 😳
AND....I had wife on back and a full bike with Rick Rack bag on it, felt sketchy for sure. Was a riot though!
Wow, isn’t America great! Happy Independence Day everyone!
