Come on Court TV stop having this old lady "expert" on. She is absolutely horrible and has no idea what she talks about. She was an Amber Turd supporter, that should tell you she's clueless. Every time I see her on, I thumbs down and FF. Have the Behavior Panel guys on, you know, actual experts.

I hope this draws the attention of the feds. I'm originally from Pikeville, just a few miles away. The kind of stuff that got this all started is rampant in small towns in them hills. It's just something everybody knows about, but nobody wants to "start no trouble" by calling it out. The Good Ol' Boys Network is alive and well.

Whoever the woman was that came forward i do commend her bravery because i know that especially in a small town how hard it is for people to not judge you when you are someone who has been in trouble with the law or has a history of drug abuse so i know she feared that noone would believe her and even worried it would make her situation worse and I know coming forward must have been so scary for her.

I believe there are pictures of something having to do with the jut and the sheriff's daughter sexually in nature. It's very obvious that it's something really bad because the lead investigator testified in court today saying he don't know what's in the phones yet and said he have to wait for the records to come back but many people don't believe him and neither do I. He did admit that the phones in question are the judge phone and the sheriff's daughter phone but they had to pull teeth to get that outta him which could mean he may be guilty of something as well. Whatever it is that actually happened, he seemed to confirm it when he got his hands on the judges phone. @joesalyers Місяць тому +3

Ben Fields (convicted deputy) was hand picked by Judge Kevin Mullins. The Judge is allowed to choose their bailiff and then the Sheriff deputizes them. Jim Woods the Previous District Judge hand picked Mickey who was a city cop in the small town of Neon, he served as Bailiff under Judge Woods until his death and the for Judge Mullins before being elected Sheriff. Ben Fields had previously worked at the County Jail but was chosen by Judge Mullins most likely, becuase he knew the jail and the protocols to bring inmates up from the jail to the court for arraignments and the Bailiff job pays better than a deputy jailer does. So the Deputy situation is a can of worms to be quiet honest. If I were Sheriff I would not allow the Judges to hand pick their bailiffs because the Sheriff is the person soley responsible for them. The Judges would get who I assign to them.

People are saying the sheriff lost weight and acted strange for a while before the shooting so he might be having a mental break down or a psychotic episode. Employees and others might have sent emails to the judge regarding the sheriff not being fit to be on duty. The judge then asks the sheriff to come to his chamber to talk. He might have confronted the sheriff regarding being unfit to work, showed him emails about the complaints he has been getting. The sheriff then completely broke down and started to shoot the sheriff.

Interesting that it was a "difficult decision" for Stines to "retire." He was planning on running the Sheriff's Office from county jail???

I live about an hour from Whitesburg and watched the preliminary trial. The detective said the sheriff said “they was going to take my family” after he was arrested. Idk if they seen something they wasn’t meant to see or what in the world this meant.

Judge was texting sheriffs young daughter. Sheriffs daughter told him about the text. Sheriff confronts judge and asked to see judges phone. Sheriff didn’t like what judge wrote to his daughter. Bang bang case closed
