    When you are hungry, EAT
EAT WHAT YOU WANT, not what you think you should
Eat CONSCIOUSLY and enjoy every mouthful
When you think you are full, STOP eating
I have this book somewhere and remember it helped. But needed the reminder.

Get Clean and put the utensil down while chewing or in between each bite, close your eyes while eating and take a smaller plate

I also remember watching this show when it first premiered. And he doesn’t say it in this video but one thing everyone needs to do to get the full effect of this is to eat with no distractions. That means not eating and looking at your cell phone, laptop, tablet, surface or even watching tv while you are eating.

A lot of people would say what he does is 'bullshit'
But as it turns out this 'bullshit' is actually helping some people. If it doesnt work for you then you could always try putting down that double cheese burger and going for a jog.

No because Paul knows once people start to pay attention to what they are eating their own mind starts to help them realise this food is not so good for them and they do change to more healthier foods naturally.
He is a hypnotist after all. I helped him on a UK TV programme GMTV a few years ago getting people over their addictions to chocolate, crisps and biscuits to support weight loss goals :)

being sore does feel good when you're healthy and in shape, but when you're over weight and your knees hurt and your back hurts and your feet hurt and you are out of breath just because of your weight, being sore doesn't feel so great. I know, I've been in both situations. It took a lot of hard work to get to where it felt good to feel sore, but I'll always understand when someone over weight has a difficult time with it.

    people should just simply exercise...
no diet or shit like that....exercise till you sweat and sometimes until failure
i dont know why people have such a big problem with being tired....
and being sore actually feels good....

I'm curious why, at :29 there's a flash of a newpaper that, when paused, shows nothing about Paul McKenna or his system. The headline is something about Migrants in Britian. Anyone else see that:? Is there something I missed? Why was it there?

I bought the book and read it and I'm listening to the CD every day and THAT has really helped me. Plus I belong to the web site SPARKPEOPLE for support. You need to do it ALL. I've lost 35# so far.

I love how dramatic the Americans get about stuff like this e.g. the motivational stuff. Us Brits don't act the same.

This approach is too good to be true, wouldn't this psychological system put you at risk for heart disease??, because you're eating refined carbs, white sugars etc

What good is a psychological system to loose weight if the first thing you read is "no results guaranteed" and "results may vary"?? Basically hynotic effects work with beliefs and thereby changed behaviour (and I really value hypnotic techniques that deal wirh beliefs), but for this you should first demonstrate faith and belief in your own system!

Last year I tried this two times for a few weeks and I lost some lbs, but I didn't manage to eat really slowly all the time and so I got back to my bad eating habbits. -.-"
Now I do the same without eating slowly (just normal) and it's working very well. ^^ It IS working if you lose all the tension around food and just listen to your body.

people who are over weight or obese should try to exersize, its worked for a lot of people, and when you couple that with eating healthy you will lose weight.
    this is sometimes called logic

This will sound like a silly "cop out" but when I do the tapping on my FACE, I break out in myriads of tiny red zits! If I witch hazel my face first ( say ) I will cross contaminate by tapping first on my head. I am extremely clean. Will have to figure "where there is a will there is a way." What a Pain!! And I'm 62! Trouble with break-outs since I was 12.....So this is NOT adult onset..

to loose weight throughout your day do random excercises like a jog up some stairs or maybe race a friend to the house...your body will havew to burn xtra calories because it wont be use to the randoms spurts of energy

Do the hypnosis sessions make you want to eat more healthily, though? A diet consisted of chocolate, hamburgers and fries wouldn't be healthy, even in moderation everyday! Although its healthier if ur exercising..hmm

This show makes me angry... like just watching at the begining I was so excited, last night was the 3rd episode and I already stopped watching it. But I dunno maybe I'm jealous of the other people results but I hate it. Like he starts off every episode with like "who wants to loose weight ?!" "who wants to control their cravings ?!" and the audience cheers and then it doesn't work.. I'm sure it's not the program it's probably just me.. but still.

I had tried all types of diets with no great results. I did the “I can make you thin” book and cd in 2009. I went from 13 stone and 7 pounds down to 10 stone. . It’s now 2020 and I weigh 10 stone 7 pounds. I am 5ft 6 inches tall.
It changed the way I interact with food. All I did was read the book, and then I listened to the cd every day for half hour before it was time to get up. It meant that I got up every day happy and enthusiastic and I had control over food. This grew into realising I had control over everything in my life. I was always jealous previously of people who kept weight off. Now I’m one of them.
