7:15:00 The other HW games did something similar with ship sizes changing. It was to help maintain easy ship recognition by the outline. They even had LOD were certain parts of ships would become bigger for ease of identification.
It's not called 'mega-beam' because it's built around the big bad Kar Sajuuk from HW2. The end boss got built into the mothership that Karan drives.

No, she said even if the Sajuuk is destroyed the cores will survive. It was taking the effort of Karan and Imogen to block the bad lady from controlling the cores.
The cores did already survive the destruction of at least one Mothership. Looking at you Bentus...
So why is there a lot o f negative reviews on steam?
Honestly, just because people's expectations are not met. The game's good, but people wanted more.

Wow only a 10 hour long campaign. Really disappointing
Capt, thx for saving me a few bucks. That ending was absolute ass, and I wasn't impressed with the writing at all. The bad gal came off as a whiny child. And Hyperspace is the force now???? Nah man. HW wasn't about individuals, it was about a people. Definitely not worth the price they're asking.
