Attention guys!.. anyone studying for AS/A Level Maths please be warned you will lose final Accuracy marks using the Distribution ap, as the probabilities given to 3sf are trucated and not rounded to 3sf, as required. Your answers wont match the examiner markscheme fior the final mark. This is more for probabilities as you can find the critical region, but if asked what is the actual significance level, you may not get the correct answer expected. Best use the stats app instead for all your probabiltiies calculations and round your answeers correctly. Just thought Id pass that on.
Great vid. On what basis did Casio opt to give higher x value, the probability is not even closest to requested 0.05 which is sometimes we are interested in. Same goes for the other example, does not return the x value closest to the requested probability. I think its returning the x value closer to the mean/E(X), then closest to the probability but why... lol.
Hello could you please help when I input the value of 0.05 my graphical calculator says ‘input value must be integer’ instead of solving it like it did with yours. How do i fix it? Thank you

you can actually press on the value to get the longer number
My calculator does not have a distribution function, it just goes from python then geometry then picture plot. Do I need to get a new one?
Nah you need to update it
I never knew that my calculator could do this thank you very much for your help
amazing video. This helped me very much

Yes a fair assessment. I didn’t quite know how to put it across, but your explanation makes sense. As for why I don’t know
Thanks teacher keep going

your probably putting it into the x< instead of the = section
