I love math a lot. But my teacher manages to teach the most boring class and I started to hate math. Thanks man, you explained what I learned in 1 semester in 1 video.
Thank you so much man! Why is it that no one else, not even my prof, can explain it so clearly and concisely. Best 5 and a half minutes I've ever spent! Thank you!!
fr my professor has been telling our class the way to tell is by finding different key descriptive words of the study in the first sentence of the problem. Like I get what she means but it makes it so much more confusing than this simple black and white way to tell.
Hello I just wanted to say Thank you so much!! I got B+ because of you in stats in first one now I am back for second one thank you so much truly you explain better than my Professor ever does he just rushes everything! Thank you again for such simple videos and explanation easy to understand 🙏
I love your videos! Thank you so much for describing stats in an approachable way! You make me feel that I can grasp all these concepts, because they're actually quite easy to understand. Meanwhile, my university teacher makes everything so complicated and boring.
1:05 whenever alternative hypothesis doesn't equal some value, you're going to have a two-tailed test 1:34 the shaded area represent the rejection region, the area is not shaded is fail to reject region Z values separate reject and non-reject regions, which represent critical values 2:14 confidence level c = 1-alpha, alpha is the significance level, alpha is splited into two regions 2:50 to determine whether reject or not reject the null hypothesis, you need to calculate the z value and compare it to the critical value this other z value is called Zc the calculated Z value which is associated with the test statistics if that z value is greater than the critical value, then you should reject the null hypothesis 4:35 if the alternative hypothesis is stating less than some value, you need to use the left-tailed test for c=95%, alpha is going to be a completely 0.05
heyyy! love your videos so muchhh. You're literally a godfather to the uni students. Could you please make videos on estimation in statistics like point and interval estimation, method of moments and method of maximum likelihood. It would be very helpful for us and very generous of youuu!
Question: What if my Ha is not equal. But I still want to know if its less than or greater than? Do i conduct both one tail and two tailed tests? Btw, thank you. Great videos!
Hello. Great video. However I'm confused about my hypothesis and whether it's directional or now. My hypothesis is that variable A predicts variable B. Does that make it one tailed? I'm not sure about how this works in predictive hypotheses so would be grateful if you could help out.
Thanks for this knowledge that you shared.😇 I'm always watching your videos about math coz I'm a student who taking math major.😊 I'm asking for your help also to please help my channel sir. Thanks.😊
Everyone!!! Please help me in psych stats, I don't know how to survive this sub. I watched series of vids here in yt but even the "simplest" explanation can't absorb by my brain. 911, hello?! Help me guys.
thanks so much for this like fr, my instructor is an absolute shit in teaching, the most incompetent one I've seen in my entire life, worse than high school teachers
correct me if i wrong, so the conclusion is, when we use any inferential statistic method like t test or wilcoxon signed rank test, we compare the statistical value with the distribution value, right? if we use the two tailed, the h0 is rejected if the statistical value on the critical region (right or left tail)?
I think in simpler explanation it would be *If it is less than or more than to- one tailed *If it is finding the relationship or differences then it is two-tailed ??

indeed
Very smart guy, knows exactly how to explain the concepts in a tangible way
looking through a bunch of stats videos, this guy came up and I clicked on it immediately. Saved my ass on sooo many of my classes.
is there any subject he doesnt do???
THANK YOU! I have watched all of the Cohorts from my current course instructor and was so confused! You cleared it up for me in five minutes!
Awesome and comprehensive explanation! Thanks for such a short video with covering all the things
Currently getting me through my econometrics course. God bless you
OMG I LOVE YOU. YOU'RE A SAVIOUR. I cannot stress that enough😭
I love math a lot. But my teacher manages to teach the most boring class and I started to hate math. Thanks man, you explained what I learned in 1 semester in 1 video.
This isn't math?
I am really appreciate what you share to us. I wish everything good to you. Thank you very much.
Love your video explanations. Very easy to understand.
Bro, you're a life savior ❤
So grateful for this! Clear and concise
I'd like to see this man one day . He made engineering so easy. Thank you
dude!!!!!! come to my college and be my stats professor!😭 YOU'RE LITERALLY SO GOOD AT EXPLAINING SHIT TOPICS WITH SO MUCH EASE.
Such a clear and concise video! Thank you!
This has saved me a lot ..well done
This was a very very clear video, thanks!
Damn you're still uploading! Keep the dream alive
Thank you so much man! Why is it that no one else, not even my prof, can explain it so clearly and concisely. Best 5 and a half minutes I've ever spent! Thank you!!

You helped me get through chemistry and 2 math classes. Now stats. I'm almost done. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for your clear explanation very much!!
dude!! your video made sense in about 6 minutes than my entire semester!
Exactly
Why did you explain it so much easier than my profession??
Wow, I just received an A on my grad stats quiz! Thanks!!
You got me smiling on a daily basis😂😍
without you i couldn't have passed like i did
i wish you were my lecturer
you're better than my graduate professor
Best tutor, thank you so much

In five minutes you explained it better than my two hour long lecture thank you so much
Thank you!
Thank you!
just amazing thank you alot alot alot
You just saved my entire school year, you're the man
You are an angel.. you answered my simple question lol
1:05 whenever alternative hypothesis doesn't equal some value, you're going to have a two-tailed test
1:34 the shaded area represent the rejection region, the area is not shaded is fail to reject region
Z values separate reject and non-reject regions, which represent critical values
2:14 confidence level c = 1-alpha, alpha is the significance level, alpha is splited into two regions
2:50 to determine whether reject or not reject the null hypothesis, you need to calculate the z value and compare it to the critical value
this other z value is called Zc the calculated Z value which is associated with the test statistics
if that z value is greater than the critical value, then you should reject the null hypothesis
4:35 if the alternative hypothesis is stating less than some value, you need to use the left-tailed test
for c=95%, alpha is going to be a completely 0.05
thank you this helped me make notes
I don't understand critical value.
thank you so much!
The first time I have understood this stuff😂😂😂thank you
For the first time in my life, I finally understood the concept! MIND BLOWN.
i DONT SKIP ADS SO I CAN HELP YOU IN RETURN.

thank you!!!!
wait so if the Z value is in the unshaded region we fail to reject the null hypothesis...aka that means that the mean of the potato chips *is* 100g?
I have a quiz on Monday and am kind of confused on it
what if the z value is equal to the critical value do we accept or reject?
here i'm, a chemistry lover from Brazil.
i love chemistry that involves critical values too man! :D
This guys voice ; )
I don't know what this means
thanks mate you're great!!!
What if the Ha is "greater or equal to" (or smaller or equal to)? Would it still be a one tailed test?
This might be a dumb question, but are Z values and P values the same thing? If not, how are they different? Thank you!
Question: What if my Ha is not equal. But I still want to know if its less than or greater than? Do i conduct both one tail and two tailed tests?
Btw, thank you. Great videos!
Your channel is very wonderful, your explanation is special, you have great capabilities to deliver information, thank you ❤️👌
Two words: *You're Awesome!*

Thank you Sir :))
Thank you soo much for making the most difficult concept in just 5 min …👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
0:20 Was literally eating chips watching this. Great example
You managed to explain in 5 minutes what my lecturer couldn't in 20. THANKS!
This video clears my concept of 3 months of having doubts in 6 minutes. thank you a ton for so nicely explanation of this concept. Highly recommended.
I passed 2 semester without studying thanks to this channel🙌
miku best girl
I must have watched too much Naruto because I read "One and Two Tailed Beasts" in the title.
😂😂😂😂
Thank you. I now understand one tail and two tail test within 6minus. Time saving and super clear how you explained

Thank You Hashem!
Thank god bro, you must be a teacher or if not try to be because you teach lot more semse thannma teacher who teach sht😒
i love this class
Thank you :)
Thanks, but I think you just talked about the one sample t-test, not the two samples.
the best UA-cam channel. Since Covid era i watched your videos mister from France.
Absolutely the best quality of the education
what if you are given a level of significance to be 0.03, how would you find the critical value please

Your videos are so useful! You are very good at teaching, you have a great IQ and very good pedagogy. Thank you very much!
video has 403k views....didnt even know 403k people knew stats! LOL
I feel like Mark walhberg is teaching me stats and I stg that's the only reason I passed this course
disliked because the one-tailed test wasn't explained properly. i still don't know the purpose of these tests and how to use them.
😳😳😳😳 Is this a magic or a miracle ?? because is just as if this man his standing right in front of me and tutor me, and kept asking if i gorrit.
So helpful thanks
after one sem of statistics and one sem of econometrics, im googling this a week before my econometrics exam
Amazing. thank you for this. Saved my life!!!
Omg thank you so much ... was struggling with this concept.
Plzzz Someone Help me ...what exactly is this Z Valueee
This is very helpful, love you!❤
