Desert Plants of Avalon aww that makes me sad. But Enjoy your life girl. I cant imagine how much time it takes to respond to all of us. I am going to keep commenting to help your channel grow. You have helped me immensely over the last few years. And for that i thanks you. Sending you both lots of love from Ohio.
Tank you so much . Thats even better . Dont wanna lost them . Love all crassulas
What a beautiful succulent plant this Crassula Kimnachi is Lyn! Never seen like it before! It is so precise! Thanks for sharing! Have an amazing evening Lyn and Hans! Sending you both lots of love and happiness!
These Crassula kimnachi's are so gorgeous, but sadly I lost them both due to mealy bugs Beasties, argh, the mealy bugs were hidden right inside and underneath the folds of the tight compacted leaves, the plants started to go very dry and crispy looking, and when I checked the foliage and the roots I could not see any signs of the 'Beasties' and I was so confused to what was going wrong with them, but when they both died and I completely dissected the plants I found mealy bug beasties that had burrowed their way into the stem and hiding underneath the tight leaves, they were impossible to spot until it was too late, thanks so much Sylvia for your wonderful comments and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Malta for a magnificent afternoon XXXX
@@desertplantsofavalon Hi Lyn, so disappointed you lost both these beautiful plants! Mealy bugs can easily hide in these plants! Have a wonderful afternoon Lyn and Hans! Lots of love!

love rhat plant I've never seen that in the. USA. im going to look for it online. thanks for the video.!!
Hi Lyn, are those plants still around? I love them!
Thanks so much Corina :-D sadly I lost both these plants, they dried up and I am not sure what I did wrong as they were growing so well and put a lot of new growth when I re potted them but I think the house move was too much for them and they dried up but I will be keeping an eye out for some more of these beauties in the future
@@desertplantsofavalon you should delete this then..." Tips on how to kill Buddha's temple"
@@heatherkoolaid LOL! I just shared my video when I repotted them, this was NO how to video :-D there are NO GUARANTEES to how they survive long term but that gardening for you :-D some you win and some you lose XXXXX
Heather Koolaid make a proper video then because I’m looking for one
That plant is really interesting and beautiful, I've never seen one before. :)
I m going to start with using loam based soil I HATE fungus gnats!
Wow this just.. wow.
I haven't managed to keep mine alive.. Rot (black mould on the roots) was the problem, and on the other hand it didn't take the drought well either. So kept cutting it down and separating the healthy offshoots. I was able to keep one of the offshoots going for around 9 months, under a low intensity grow light, in only perlite and with weeks between watering, but it ended up rotting too when I got overconfident with the watering again. I'm now over this plant, because of the negative associations : ) , but I will try crassula pyramidalis again in future, which is equally beautiful, I think. I have the other parent plant, crassula falcata, which is much easier to keep happy, but it hasn't bloomed for me yet like yours did in one of your previous videos. Xx from Dublin
OMGOLLY yes I lost mine in this video too, I was so gutted and so sorry to hear that you lost yours too Nathalie
Hi, just got this plant and was hoping to get some advice on what type of light you give it?that it stays nice and compact.😊
Thats wonderful you have this beautiful plant too :-D I would recommend growing thus plant in the sunniest position you can find, a south facing window or position would be the best as they love sun and can grow a little bit stretched out if not given enough sunshine
@@desertplantsofavalon i have mine placed in a south facing window. It get sunlight from the morning until the afternoon. At first i thought it would burn but so far so good. Roll on summer
