Here’s a fun thrift store Cutco story for ya. At my local goodwill recently, I found a lot of 12 brand new in bags, boxed up as a set knives & red shearing scissors. All for $25. It was in the glass upfront.
For some reason a thrift store near me thinks Asos is an in demand brand and marks it way up like $30+ used. Same thrift store sells ASRV clothes for $6 lol. Hopefully they dont catch on.
I recently went to the Unclaimed Baggage Thrift Store in Alabama and asked how much the Mont Blanc Legend Spirit Cologne was in the glass case. She said it was $55, she smelled it and said not bad….you don’t want it? I was like….ummm you can buy it online brand new for $45. Theirs was about 80% full and a scuffed bottle…😂
I skimmed this comment and missed “cologne”. Was intrigued when you said they smelled it. Thought to myself “well I suppose that’s one way to check if a pen is ok”
Hello! Amiibo is not a brand, Nintendo is the brand. Amiibo is the product they're selling. They're not actually figures like funkos are either, they're video game accessories. Depending on which amiibo you find they can go for a decent penny as well.
@@lukeforster7752 Soap and water works, sure, but if you're looking at baked on grease (which most of them have, at least around the edges) then you're gonna be at it for a good long while if all you've got is soap and water
So please help me understand. You will buy a remote for $1 that sells for $15, but you won't buy a vintage coffee maker for $11 that sells for $30? Seems like the profit margin would be more for the coffee maker. Is that because of the difference in shipping the two, or storing, or ?? Thanks! Love your videos!
Certain coffee makers are better than others. Keurig, Tassimo, Bosch, Krups, Beeville & Delonghi all sell great if they are desirable models and are in new/like new condition. If you can get them new in the box it's a pickup every single time. If they're well used and have lots of dirt/scratches/stains then it's a judgment call as you'll be spending a lot of time cleaning the machine and/or testing if they work.
You know how you say not everything made by a manufacture is worth something? I found a Waring pro wine chiller, and I initially got excited, but it isn’t worth anything. First time I’ve seen Waring pro in public that I know of. So at least it reiteratedthe brand name and I’m sure I’ll be able to find something worth something in the future. Lol.
My mom had the vintage humidifier in my room LOL This brings back memories. I used to play with it all of the time.
Hey where do you get your boxes to ship golf clubs
Great video and keep up the good work

Wow nice and fast sale! Thanks for the video
Just curious if this is a side gig? I would love to do what you do, but I have to work to have health insurance.
I always check the older Titleist drivers looking for the one Tiger Woods made famous… 13 or 17 degree 970 series…
I live in southern washington state. All my thrift stores sell at near eBay prices.
That’s emeril lagasse. BAM!!!!!

The key is easy to replace
I saw some docker shoes in the glass for 35+
And I found a pair of Nikes in great condition for $5 😂
Maybe I'm just a colossal dumb face, but how do you go about cleaning your waffle irons?
Soap and water does the trick

@@lukeforster7752 oh good point, thanks!
Remember when they put all the salt and pepper shakers in the case they put a lot of stupid things in the case though
Most ridiculous I’ve seen: Coach purse for $500 that retails NEW for only $375! 😂

It’s all about sell through, size and cost. Remote is better at all 3.
Also doesn’t mean it’s wrong to pick up the coffee maker, especially if you have the space.
You have to clean a coffee maker and they can break. You have to test it.

Also, if anything goes wrong with either, I’d rather be out $1 opposed to $11
❤
