God I’m laughing so hard imagining Kaito, sitting in this Exisal, just frantically flipping through this encyclopedia of a script, desperately trying to find his lines
yeah !! but let’s just say he still spoke in his tone :] it would be kokichi saying it’s a lie with a not so childish tone lmao. so he had to match the way kokichi spoke articulation wise , and his personality , the voice changer just gave him his role - coming from a hardcore kokichi and Kaito fan , and a long time actress .
I can’t help but think kokichi got the short end of the stick He not only was shot in the arm for like no reason but then maki like hey wassup mother fuckers and again shoots kokichi almost twice... So then he pretends to drink the antidote. I would like to state that if he just drank the position he would have 1. The whole murder scene in his palms to manipulate 2. Being alive and not having any charge against him. Yet for the people who have only for this entire time have told him he’s always alone p, liar, trash, Etc. he’s even been strangled and punched by a few. Yet he still not only gave Kaitlin the cure but killed him self in hopes of stopping. And Kaito knew that they would figure it out and went along? If he knew this he would be killing kokichi in vain right in front of him WITH NO GUILT! Idk I just feel he deserved a lot better.
Jin Kirigiri (apparently) valued the concept of talent as a higher priority than the school he owned. It...may explain why he was so easy for Junko to kidnap and execute.
*Imagine being in a class trial while basically rping as a deceased student that sacrificed their life for you while also piloting a huge mech that you barely know how to use, while ALSO fighting back at an illness that is slowly killing you.* To be honest, this was my favorite class trial in the entire series.
*Contains Spoiler* Shuichi: “The culprit is in that Exisal. ...It’s you, isn’t it? Kaito Momota, ... “ Me: LUMINARY OF THE STARS Shuichi: “...the Ultimate Astronaut!” Me: Oh, uh, yeah
@@PGOuma exactly. it's the reason I thought she was the mastermind, cuz she couldnt interfere on the trial so she just said this to hype up the "viewers" if the tv show part was true
43:34 Himiko: of course not! Why would I ever listen to kokichi? Kokichi (kaito): Cuz I know you like meeee. Himiko: nuh-uh I hate you Kokichi (kaito): but I like you *himiko’s heart got shot by a love arrow* Damn kaito you like himiko more than maki roll
Something important to note here is that Kokichi's plan to sacrifice himself and ruin the killing game was something he had planned for a while. Several days passed in the game from when he took Kaito, no doubt he was writing the script, plus the camera from the warehouse was already set up, meaning this wasn't something Kokichi came up with on the spot after being shot. It's also implied that originally Kokichi wanted Shuichi to assist him with this if you recall their coversation in the virtual world when he suggested that they should 'work together' and 'save everyone'.
That script thing is confusing... how doesn t monokuma know about its existance or its content? He wouldn t have doubts about what was happening if he had read the script ... If he did not know, then maybe it could have been used to persuade Kaito prior to the poisoning. With Kaito health condition in mind seems plausable he could cooperate if that meant end the killing game. Had not Kaito revealed himself would it still be plausable that he was the victim? Haven t played the game in a while so this line of thinking may be flawed, but since this is dangan ronpa I don t mind ellaborate some more. Kokichi would then have tricked everyone, or maybe he did it in reality (fiction) and the story here presented is his lie to the audience (fake fiction). The rest of the game is kokichi s lie.
@@finald1316 Monokuma didn't know about the script because Kokichi had him under surveillance while he was in the hanger. Remember how the exisals were all put under autopilot to monitor Monokuma? while Kokichi was inside preparing the set up and writing the script.
He likely was planning on dying well before he kidnapped Kaito. Might be wrong on this first detail but Kokichi’s room was unlocked. Then given how he had a huge script and asked Shuichi to help him implies he’s been planning this for a very long time. He’s been leaving clues for the group since Chapter 2: horse a (again might be wrong. It’s been a while.) He believed Gonta about the bugs and found out about the audience before chapter 4. He’s very smart, the more you look the more you realize he’s been playing 4D chess. Given how he wasn’t expecting Maki to poison them, he had to improvise a lot of that plan.
I followed a lot of people who make AMVs and edits and this was the time when I left the Danganronpa fandom (2017) so I had notifications of edits of Maki x Kaito so I was spoiled beforehand that Kaito was gonna die :( but seeing it actually play out after coming back to this fandom still hurts :(
_“No, I won’t give up. I’ve never felt this way before! I’ve always fought to kill, but... this is the first time I’ve fought to protect someone! And... I’ve never... _*_fallen_*_ for someone before.”_ Me: Annnd there goes my heart. Seriously, this is like KuzuPeko all over again! 😭
lol, it's a reversal - in SDR2, Peko dies and Fuyuhiko ends up comatose. In SDR V3 - Kaito dies and Maki is also left battling the fury against Monokuma
Execution failed?! Hahahaha This is arguably one of the best trials I've EVER seen in Danganronpa as of yet! Even when Kaito was dying, he gladly middlefingered Monokuma by DYING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE EXECUTION! HAHAHAHAAAA!
i.is.lonely it does matter, kaito died the way he wanted, not the way monokuma or the mastermind would have wanted. Of course he was going to die either way but in the end kaito died in his own way, it made monokuma angry and made the characters cry, it was the best way a character like kaito could have died

Dude, Kaito and Makoto’s executions were total punches to the face for the mastermind. Makoto survived his, so the mastermind lost their chance at getting rid of the pest. Kaito, on the other hand, died in the very place he wanted to go, space. So basically, Makoto and Kaito flipped the mastermind a huge middle finger.
Ikr, I was like Maki leading up to that (OK, maybe not crying exactly - but close), but after Kaito died naturally, I ended up with a massive smirk on my face
@@fierytigergaming8112 I remember crying at the last minutes of this trial, but in Kaito's execution, at the very moment of his death, seeing him smile while laying on a puddle of his own blood... It made me a little bit happy to see him die as a hero
You guys joke but I like to think that since his inner voice is gone the ahoge was actually makotos will/hope and that it was forcibly removed killing that voice. I mean I like to think that for the time being. Cleary haven't finished the last trial.
Kaito is the Ultimate Badass ALPHA Male of the Danganronpa series. I mean, Hajime might be the fucking Ultimate Deus Ex Machina and Makoto might be the Ultimate MC, but you know what? At the end of the day, Kaito accomplished many thing that made him the very best: 1- Encouraged everyone in the killing game to keep going and not lose hope. Not the trademark “hope” of the game, but literal hope. 2- He supported the Mc, Shuichi, til the very end and showed us the very definition of being a *bro* 3- Teamed up with Kokichi and accomplished the only thing nobody has ever done before: Outplay Monokuma in a class trial and almost end a killing game. 4- Was the first blackened to not die by actual punished. The man died before Monokuma killed him, and even called it out. The madman. (Makoto doesn’t count because that trial was rigged and even Alter Ego saved his ass. If not for that, Makoto would be rip) And last, the most important of all: 5- He protected his waifu. As far as I’m concerned, Makoto couldn’t protect Sayaka and Kyoko did die, but was revived cuz yeah why not, let’s make appear a random cure in the middle of a killing game. As for Hajime... the last time I checked, Chiaki died twice. And, in front of him. Anyway, Kaito the Ultimate MAN.
Everyone talking about Kokichi, even though Maki crying over Kaito is the most heartbreaking thing on the planet. Like literally all I wanted from this game was the two of them to have a happy ending. Feels bad man
idk why but maki was very indeed clueless (she didn’t bother to think she wouldn’t have killed kokichi and she would be discovered as a culprit, an how horrible it wouldn’t have been for Kaito) honestly she wasn’t thinking smart at the last seconds and that’s why I don’t feel bad for her as much but Kaito.
It was hard for them to not believe. He had a remote for the Exisals, the secret message in the courtyard, even using Gonta as a murderer. All of that was to make them think he was the mastermind. They had nothing else to believe. Everyone thought he was a Remnant of Despair. There was basically no proof otherwise at the time.
EXACtTLY. People say oma is a bad character in general(his personality). But he ACTUALLY cared about everyone’s deaths. He has been lying to himself the whole game, and tried to keep his emotions in. I didn’t understand why he swindled gonta into killing mui until I saw this trial. It all made sense. Oma also has a superior intellect that could match kirigiri’s. Def one of the most smartest characters in the whole series besides kyoko And nagito
Not only that put theres real pain for Ouma with the whole Gonta ordeal. Ouma just played the villain to lull the mastermind into a false sense of security. Gonta was a sacrifice towards Oumas plan.
shuichi actually agreed with keebo and in jp version he called kokichi his friend while he was talking about his and kaitos deaths, i think he believed him in the end when he found out about kokichis true intentions
Yeah, this is probably the part that makes me more sad about Kokichi. After they were all like "yeah probably a lie" half of the trial went back to "Kaito's not dying" "Kaito this" "Kaito that" and no one remembered that Kokichi was also dead. Not until the end of the chapter ofc, but still even after his death they kept calling him insults and whatever. Don't get me wrong, I love both Kaito and Kokichi.
I gotta say, one thing this game does well is make you feel bad for every culprit. They all had a legimate reason for what they did, and their deaths were all tragic. 'Cept for Korekiyo. That dude was just fucking bonkers.
AuraChannelerChris Probably your PC bugged and "show more" options disappeared. It sometimes happens to me as well. Btw, I'm the emotionless person who literally didn't give a crap about any of the deaths and my favourite character is Korekiyo. Well... :)
@Lauren Martin if they weren't destroyed, I would've said in the next section "THROW AN ELECTROBOMB AT KEGUNDAM! (Referring to how the armor's similar to that of a gundam unit)
As a matter of fact now that you're mentioning it, in a free time event, I remember Maki saying that she killed a friend of hers when she was younger. I think her friend was a mafia's daughter, but anyway, she was hired by another mafia to do so and she did with no hesitation actually.
I swear, I am not the only person here who is questioning about how Kokichi PERFECTLY recreate the arm/hand placement without a difference. I mean, their hands weren't even the same to begin with.
Kokichi saying "Oh, don't worry about Kaito. He already fulfilled his dream... He already went to space." absolutely crushed me the first time I heard it.
Bella I know- I was just saying🤣💀 lmao I like bringing it up just to see how much people ship oumeno- and btw I ship them too but I find the other one cuter ‼️
Mizuki Sora this game defined in one sentence is ‘let’s stick a bunch of high schoolers here and have them kill eachother.’ And you’re worried about THIS?
Same tho I was crying and said that too The way kaito smiled even know he was going to die to just bring all of them together to end the game once and for all He knew he didn't have time left and that hurt me so much
Even if it’s a script, imagining that it’s KAITO running the show for 3 hours is just wow. All respect to Kokichi with his plan, but like at times I completely forget that behind that Exisal making a scene is everyone’s main support 😭
So we have 1 person who is a payed assassin 1 person who's been arrested for murdering people 1 person who kills nice girls 1 person who sacrifices people to there fake god 1 person who is occasionally too lazy to breath 1 person who will willingly kill all the rest so that Japan survives 1 person who can't even reproduce because they are a robot 1 person who is the definition of horny 1 person who judges a persons complete personality on the whether or not they like bugs 1 person who despises any male and Kokichi The person creating the list must've been like "Eh the human race is screwed anyway"
I agree! Who even decided that ultimate assassin, gangster, bike gang leader, gambler, soldier and especially supreme leader was going to be a good idea. How do you even scout half of them!
I know everybody is sad about Kaito im probably the only one sad about Kokichi. I actually like him a lot and I feel like his last words about hating the killing game and wanted it to end was actually genuine
@Nightbird's lair yes, he wanted to beat the mastermind, but not bringing everyone in despair. He wanted to beat the mastermind to finally end this killing game, but his plan failed. And I am sure, he thought that his plan would work, like beating monokouma. And I dunno if its canon, but when he said that he enjoyed everyones suffering, I am sure he was lying, cuz he talked with monokouma earlier before the thing happened and he has to act like the "bad guy" again, because when would continue crying and being sad back there, monokouma wouldn't believed him anymore. And also, he wanted to pretend to be the mastermind of course and the "evil sadist". I actually think it got confirmed somewhere that he was lying about this, but I am not sure. But no, in my opinion he wasn't enjoying this whole game, it's Canon that he hates killing, it said it in his motive video, but in Japanese like, that there is a rule for NO killing, cuz the english dub didn't showed that, for some reason. So, it wouldn't make sense if he really enjoyed the killing game.
14:52 I LOVE this foreshadowing so much. Himiko asks how old is he because that song is a real old song by Frank Sinatra. It makes sense that Kaito would sing it since he was raised by his grandparents, and in the Japanese, he has a lot of politically incorrect views. Their song preferences and views likely rubbed off on him too.
@@donparahyba Yeah but he put in his own ad-libs like he mentioned. The script doesn't have to be dialogue-by-dialogue. Just directions. Otherwise there's a glaring plothole. Even moreso than Kaito having his jacket on when he leaves the Exisal
That was the best chapter made by the best characters in this game. Kokichi actually happened to be a good guy (Yes, I believe his last words were true), Kaito was the loved guy. And the trial that even Monokuma couldn't figure out? You can't say it wasn't badass. I totally felt for that Kaito was smashed thing that made me so despair. That actually is the best or the second best (I need time to decide) trial in the franchise for me. And.. I need to watch the starting execution in danganronpa 1 (the one similiar to this one) for a theory (Really Kaito was so similiar to Kirigiri's father for me from the start and then he died as in the zero execution in dr1 someone died and there was theory that was kirigiri's father- the headmaster. Also Kaito was so close with Shuichi so he knew a lot about being a detective and guess what.. Kirigiri was a detective too. It's too much for a similarity. The only thing that is different is the surname tbh).
It's cute how when Kaito told the others to send him off with a smile, Maki was crying, Himiko was on the verge of tears, Keebo wanted to cry and Shuichi likely was feeling extreme emotional pain at the time (Tsumugi was more blank-faced)
Probably should've picked a person without a K in their first name lmao. But yea I know that feel. Wow actually the more I think of it it kinda looks like anyone with the letter k at the beginning of their name were doomed to die. What a fucking coincidence that they all died.
I know Im late but look at this, Imagine youre in their position, you can die every second, then this bitch enjoys your suffering. We love kokichi as the watcher, but if we participated in the killing game.. You cant blame them for focusing on kaito.
THANK YOU. This is literally what people forget. Their reactions are completely genuine to me, and of course people would focus on the dying person in front of them to spend final moments with... right?
I love kokichi but I can’t blame everyone for not caring about him. As viewers obviously we love him because we know his real intentions and understand his character, everyone in the game however is in a killing game. They’re forced to kill each other. And kokichi constantly lies to them, makes trials more confusing, pretends to be the mastermind and says he enjoys their suffering. Yes we love kokichi as viewers but if we were in the game we’d probably hate him too. Their reactions were totally genuine
My favorite class trial probably. *spoiler* Their plan was exposed about ruining the game but atleast Kaito ruined his execution. *which is getting killed by his own illness instead of the execution while at SPACE! Making his dream come true in his last breath* Kokichi made me shed a tear, too. he was truly one of the most interesting characters out of the whole game.
What got me in tears is that they learnt about kokichi sacrificing his life for all their sakes and they don’t care one bit, they care more about Kaito dying over some virus and also said what kokichi had said to Kaito was a lie when it wasn’t at all that would be one of the times where he’s been entirely honest and having a proper conversation.
“He’s not the type to shed real tears” This whole scene makes me sad, he sacrificed himself and nobody cared for him and thought it was all a lie, like he wasn’t able to show real emotion. Kokichi is the best character and nobody can tell me otherwise edit: guys pls i made this 2 years ago calm down edit: everybody stfu
Kokichi has never been one of my favorites, but I can agree that it did sadden me a little bit when I learned about it. I would argue that he is not the best character ever, but he is a very deep, complex, and interesting character. Do I still think he's a dick? Yes. Do I have some respect for him because of this trial? Absolutely.
because it may as WELL have been fake tears. You liking Kokichi at all establishes how little you know about him, which is *by design*. He brought it on himself, no? No one put a gun to his head and said: "Hey, play the part of the totally obvious bad guy so no one would suspect you're actually good!". and you heard his last words: it was ultimately all about the fun, but as soon he starts dying, the game is "boring" and he wants to "end it" suddenly? The same game he's been gushing about all along? Sure, you can assume he never found the game fun to begin with and it was all a lie, but you can also just assume he was being a sore loser and decided to "flip the game board over", so to speak, by ruining the mastermind's killing game with his death. Why do I use "assume" so much? Because Kokichi literally went OUT OF HIS WAY to give you reason to believe that nothing he says can be trusted. Why should the cast act any differently?
Well, despite having a reason, I don't think you can say Tojou is a "good person" to the people who wanna live here. Even though it's weighing against the "lives of Japan". But then again, it's up to perspective for her situation.
Just realised, she killed Ryoma for no good reason! Cuz you know Japan is dead! Speaking of Ryoma is Ryoma really a good person, he's killed more people than Kiyo, many who could be in the same situation as Maki,. Also Keeboy isn't a good person cuz cuz his a robot
minccinostopaz there's a difference between you think it's okay to justify her actions and that she is actually wrong in doing it. You can say it's for the greater good and everyone agrees to die on her behalf but that doesn't make her a "good person". It's not about Ryoma too. It's about her actions. The action itself is wrong, no matter the reason or the person she killed. Just saying.
Kaito's last words were "Oh yeah? Well screw you! I'm not gonna die the way you want!" And he gives Monokuma the middle finger by dying to the asteroid virus.
Yeah not only was his dreams were fulfilled but alongside with that he was able to give monokuma the biggest fuck you because him dying of his illness, he was able to fuck with Monokumas plans.
OOOOOohhhh that was brilliant! Literally like, 1 of the best trials in the entire franchise imo. The building one in DR2 was also pretty good. Anyway, god the resolution to this class trial was fucking fantastic. Although people disliked Kaito as a person because he ruined Kokichi's plan which might have just saved them all(intentionally or not), he was the only murderer in the danganronpa franchise who so powerfully and courageously awaited his death, even more anticipated for it than Monokuma. But what was the best was his fucking smirk in the spaceship. In the end, he died among the stars, among his dream that became reality, to be a star radiating hope to his friends. That was so satisfying to watch, especially with him saying prior that he was not going to die the way Monokuma wanted. Ironically, the virus, that which allowed Despair to cloak Earth in itself, and prevail in its battle with hope there, became the perpetrator of Kaito's last, final defiance against Despair's will, refusing to give in to the very end. That, my friend, is not stubbornness. That, my friend, is *tenacity* .
I dunno, people think Kaito ruined Kokichi's plan, but since Shuichi solved the whole thing, there probably wasn't any doubt in Monokuma's mind that Kaito was the culprit, regardless if Kaito admitted it or not. Shuichi forcing him to confess by lying was more to indirectly tell Kaito that he didn't need to continue the act. Still agree with you on everything else, though. It was amazing.
I "like" how half of the fandom blames Maki for causing Kokichi's death and the other half say it's Kaito's fault. What has this power couple done to deserve this shit ;-; Bromota and Maki Roll are the best, man
It's kind of like how in DR1 Naegi describes Togami and Kirigiri to be really similar but also different, like someone *thrown into war* versus someone *born and raised in war* - while they're both similar, they're very different. Just like Kokichi and Kaito - they have the same goals and intentions, but their resolves are pretty different and they go about doing them in different ways.
Oh come the fuck on, if you actually finished the game you'd know that monokuma/tsumugi didn't give a flying fuck about the rules. If kokichi's plan came to fruition then *everybody* but tsumugi would have died would have died (with kaito obviously succumbing to his disease after winning the killing game). Fuck off kokichi apologists.
Lila Duvendack Yea but that's totally cheating haha no one can beat him in a game of luck, totally unfair kokichi even had to try to live up to that luck with his trick. For what his really was it was way smarter because you kinda have to be when you don't have komaeda luck.
To me it beats Nagitos case. He used his brain instead of his talent for this. Not to mention since you couldn't even tell who died it was much harder. Especially since the Exisal had a voice changer so you wouldn't know it was Kaito or Kokichi at first.
Tsumugi: Keebo, are you alright!? Keebo: I’m fine *has a clear blue aura around him with his eyes grayed out* Keebo: Yeah, completely fine. More importantly..
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the rivals in this series got progressively less predictable. We all know what Byakuya's motives are whenever he does something, and his actions reflect them. We understand Nagito's motives, but his actions don't always make sense to anyone but him because his brain is turning into butter. Kokichi, nobody knows what he's doing or why. Even in his last moments, there's no way to know for sure if he's being honest about his motives. I mean, the dude wrote Kaito a script. He was writing out a series of intricate lies as he died.
All I can say is Kokichi is a real genius to plan all this.. And to write a script that long. To bad Shuichi accidentally stopped him from ending the game early
Right before: 3:21:54 I’ve never heard Shuichi cry like that before- not even in Kaede’s case. It really shows how much he loved Kaito, whether that be in a friendly way or not, and it makes me so happy and sad at the same time. I love you, Luminary of the Stars!!
Isn't it fun when you watch the trial for the first time and at the end either think 'Oh, I'm stupid, I should've known!' or 'That character shouldn't have died/been executed!' and then go back to watch it and scream the answers at the characters in the trial? I think so.
I just noticed something. justonegamr showcases the intro before these class trials because before the trial starts, whoever has been recently executed or killed will have their showing shaded in a pinkish red during the intro. Once Trial 1 concluded it happened to Kaede and Rantaro, before Trial 2 began it happened with Ryoma, once that Trial ended, the blackened Kirumi had the same thing happen to her. Before Trial 3 it happened to Tenko and Angie, After the trial it happened to Korekiyo. Before Trial 4 it happened to Miu and then happened with Gonta after the trial. (SPOILERS AHEAD) However, this chapter is different. Since Kokichi and Kaito's status as either alive or dead is unknown at this point in time before the trial, instead of Kokichi being in that shade, he's instead shaded in with the opposite shade. It's a purplish-blue shade. Since Kaito's status is unknown at this point, the same thing happens with him. Despite this, both still have their eyes open in the intro's final moments. While everyone who is deceased at that point in the game are completely black with their eyes not even showing.
V3's Moral of the Story *(spoilers duh)* : In all honesty, Kokichi wasn't the enemy or a bad guy. He just had to sacrifice everything he had in order to end the killing game, even if it meant destroying people such as Miu, Gonta, Kaito, and himself. He also had to sacrifice belief in not only others, but also his own true self. You see this in his last moments speaking to Kaito. During the trial, when Kaito read the script...there were no lies, but there were contradictions. Kokichi was the discovered body, yes. But he was also a blackened person due to how he planned everything and his behavior throughout the game. Kaito was the killer, but he was a victim to Kokichi's plan and unfortunately had to sacrifice his life and Kokichi's in order to end the killing game. This is one of, if not the only thing Kokichi and Kaito agreed on, even if their means were opposing. To sum up: Kokichi isn't evil. Everything he said to Kaito in the Hanger was the truth. Same with his script (remember: no lies, but there were contradictions). His philosophy of the ends justifies the means got him that far, and he used it in order not only to fulfill his own wish to end the killing game, but also save the others in a sense. He did state he liked Himiko during the trial(Kaito said it but the script was Kokichi's plan, all Kaito used was a voice changer and it's unlikely he teased her in order to provoke something), and tried to befriend Shuichi throughout the game, especially in Chapter 4. The biggest reason of Kokichi's success was that he made the ultimate sacrifice. He *lied* to himself in order to stop the lies present during the killing game. Truly, a twisted reality he had to come to terms with. But I'd say he was truthful in the end. (also himiko x kokichi 10/10 just sayin')
Hold on, I agree with everything you said, but how does all that show that Kokichi isn't evil? Actually... never mind, I foresee this becoming a debate into the nature of evil, and I don't want to get into that,
JustAGrump He's not the enemy, but he's still a bad guy in my eyes, he was orchestrating his plans in such a roundabout way and he's not gonna hesitate to sacrifice lives. But any judgements to his character is subjective, the game just said so itself.
Jewell TH. So people who commit "evil" acts with good intentions shouldn't be considered evil? Like I said before, I really don't want to debate the nature of evil, but I hope you can understand my opinion on the matter,
V3 shows that most, if not all of the killers had to murder. They weren't out for evil or selfish motives (except maybe Tsumugi and moreso Korekiyo). Kaede? She had to because of time limit and to kill the mastermind. Kirumi? She had to in order to save an entire country. Korekiyo? Yeah he's a fuckwad, but he had to in order to help his sister (in some convuluted fucked logic, i suppose), but still fuck him. Gonta? He had to in order to stop the others from discovering a despairing truth, but also because he was manipulated by Kokichi. Kaito? He had to in order to save Maki, help Kokichi, and end the game. Tsumugi? She had to because her role was the mastermind and the timelimit. Still a bitch tho. If Kokichi can't be forgiven, then most of those above can't be either.
I hate how everyone is talking about Kaito here, Kaito there, Kaito's promise when Kokichi sacrified himself, showed who he really is, not a piece of **it but a weak person with a terrible past, an continued to help and support everyone in his own way when the others openly telled him that he's alone and no-one cares about him. @@mona5363 exactly

Dude, Kaito and Makoto’s executions were total punches to the face for the mastermind. Makoto survived his, so the mastermind lost their chance at getting rid of the pest. Kaito is the epitome of King Behaviour
Kaito is the Ultimate Badass ALPHA Male of the Danganronpa series. I mean, Hajime might be the fucking Ultimate Deus Ex Machina and Makoto might be the Ultimate MC, but you know what? At the end of the day, Kaito accomplished many thing that made him the very best:
1- Encouraged everyone in the killing game to keep going and not lose hope. Not the trademark “hope” of the game, but literal hope.
2- He supported the Mc, Shuichi, til the very end and showed us the very definition of being a *bro*
3- Teamed up with Kokichi and accomplished the only thing nobody has ever done before: Outplay Monokuma in a class trial and almost end a killing game.
4- Was the first blackened to not die by actual punished. The man died before Monokuma killed him, and even called it out. The madman. (Makoto doesn’t count because that trial was rigged and even Alter Ego saved his ass. If not for that, Makoto would be rip)
And last, the most important of all:
5- He protected his waifu. As far as I’m concerned, Makoto couldn’t protect Sayaka and Kyoko did die, but was revived cuz yeah why not, let’s make appear a random cure in the middle of a killing game. As for Hajime... the last time I checked, Chiaki died twice. And, in front of him.

minccinostopaz This makes me realize how *weird* Danganronpa is...
I agree! Who even decided that ultimate assassin, gangster, bike gang leader, gambler, soldier and especially supreme leader was going to be a good idea. How do you even scout half of them!
Who got arrested?
Kokichi is better compared to most of them anyways
Korekiyo is the best out of all of them.
I know everybody is sad about Kaito im probably the only one sad about Kokichi. I actually like him a lot and I feel like his last words about hating the killing game and wanted it to end was actually genuine
idk how you managed to believe you were the only person that was sad about ur favorite character dying but w/e
Meh, I didn't feel anything about Kokichi (Mainly because my anger was directed towards Monokuma, who would rather people died by his hand)
Squish boi is best boi
I was sad about it and I feel he didnt want anyone to be sad if he died and wanted the game to end but he lied to himself to keep himself going
But kokichi scripted it
@@donparahyba Yeah but he put in his own ad-libs like he mentioned.
Kokichi: I..wasn't boring, right?
Me: omg bby no, never. you made it so interesting.
i really do hate kokichi, but that part made me cry for some reason
You can't make a lot of predictions about kokichi but being not boring was something super important for him sooo, maybe he was ignored in his past?
@@lowlyworm8510 then you must not hate him as much as you say you do
Yeah bro
Odd way to spell "bloody annoying"
It's cute how when Kaito told the others to send him off with a smile, Maki was crying, Himiko was on the verge of tears, Keebo wanted to cry and Shuichi likely was feeling extreme emotional pain at the time (Tsumugi was more blank-faced)
when you actually only liked ouma, kaito kaede and korekiyo and they all died wtf
Probably should've picked a person without a K in their first name lmao.
But yea I know that feel.
Wow actually the more I think of it it kinda looks like anyone with the letter k at the beginning of their name were doomed to die. What a fucking coincidence that they all died.
Tahseen Khan I picked avocado boy and he died too
I loved Kirumi and she died.

The fact that they weren’t sad about kokichi’s death makes me cry and that they were more focused on kaito’s death
Serves him right(Ik what he did but that doesn't justify all the shit he's done in the past, seriously I hate this bitch so much)
@@jambofatherandsongamingjam8527 ok. Cool.

*spoiler*
Their plan was exposed about ruining the game but atleast Kaito ruined his execution. *which is getting killed by his own illness instead of the execution while at SPACE! Making his dream come true in his last breath* Kokichi made me shed a tear, too. he was truly one of the most interesting characters out of the whole game.
it hurts and made me shed a tear even though i never really liked anyone besides kokichi

Kokichi is the best character and nobody can tell me otherwise
edit: guys pls i made this 2 years ago calm down
edit: everybody stfu
I agree, i really love Kokichi and it makes me sad to see that he had to lie to himself and hide his true emotions...
Absolutely.
he was lying that he was lying
i 11037% agree with your statement
because it may as WELL have been fake tears.
Everyone who did was a really good person in the end...well maybe except for Kiyo...probably.
Tasumiki Elesis Apart from him being delusional, he was actually a good person y'know
...No...Not Kiyo...
Well, despite having a reason, I don't think you can say Tojou is a "good person" to the people who wanna live here. Even though it's weighing against the "lives of Japan". But then again, it's up to perspective for her situation.
Just realised, she killed Ryoma for no good reason! Cuz you know
Japan is dead! Speaking of Ryoma is Ryoma really a good person, he's killed more people than Kiyo, many who could be in the same situation as Maki,.
Also Keeboy isn't a good person cuz
cuz his a robot
minccinostopaz there's a difference between you think it's okay to justify her actions and that she is actually wrong in doing it.
I'm not gonna die the way you want!"
And he gives Monokuma the middle finger by dying to the asteroid virus.
At least Kaito left without any regrets.

@@spacetofu5306 I laughed to much at that
@@Clover-lx8mh same, Kaito death is such a huge middle finger to monokuma that I also can't stop chuckling whenever I think about it.
Bryan Lim Jie Ren *sheds tear for space husband*
3:27:18 Wow, going out at night by yourself in a killing game.. very smart Shuichi.
This almost beats Nagito's Unidentifiable Culprit Trick of his own.
David Mason honestly though if it weren’t for everyone’s knowledge of Nagitos Bologna Sandwich powers, that trial would be left up to sheer luck

He was writing out a series of intricate lies as he died.

justonegamr showcases the intro before these class trials because before the trial starts, whoever has been recently executed or killed will have their showing shaded in a pinkish red during the intro.
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
However, this chapter is different.
V3's Moral of the Story *(spoilers duh)* :
In all honesty, Kokichi wasn't the enemy or a bad guy.
Actually... never mind,
I foresee this becoming a debate into the nature of evil, and I don't want to get into that,
JustAGrump He's not the enemy, but he's still a bad guy in my eyes, he was orchestrating his plans in such a roundabout way and he's not gonna hesitate to sacrifice lives.
Wait have you not finished the whole game?
Also you forgot Korekiyo,
I hate how everyone is talking about Kaito here, Kaito there, Kaito's promise when Kokichi sacrified himself, showed who he really is, not a piece of **it but a weak person with a terrible past, an continued to help and support everyone in his own way when the others openly telled him that he's alone and no-one cares about him. No-one trusted him but he continud to help an no-one is grateful and no-one remembered him and talked only about Kaito. That pissed me off.
