After seeing the new pioneer cdj 3000, I can easily say most definitely the MOST innovative players on the market...CHANGE MY RIDER!

I don’t own them currently, but I have used them a lot at clubs. I currently have a Rane twelve/72 setup, pioneer DDJ 1000srt, and. Denon prime GO. I like having controller features in my setup (loop rolls, saved loops, etc)
Owned 2000NXS2. Got a pair of SC5000 and sold them when the 6000 came out. Never looked back. Rekordbox vs Engine Prime is the only thing that needs improvement. Engine Prima has become a lot better though the last couple of releases. Due to the corona pandemic I only stream on twitch and youtube nowadays and then the Beatport a.o. streaming options are VERY handy. I don't do much prepping anymore except from selecting tracks that are good but barely use engine prime prepping. Just all on the fly. It saves a LOT of time.

Thanks for showing the VirtualDJ functionality as this is something I'll be using for stems on my X1850. Did you not ask him if he could bring an SC6000M with him or an expected stock date so that you can ship me my second one I'm waiting for :) Even though Pioneer teased new equipment recently, I actually couldn't care less as the hardware is perfect for me so far (albeit only receiving one SC6000M). There's nothing more I could want and with Engine getting better and better with software updates (which appear to be more frequent as of late!), as long as the hardware is good, you're set for a heck of a long time! Happy with my investment. If anyone is on the fence regarding getting these, do it, you'll be happy you did. Cheers.

that was funny when the guy said you dont have stare so close to see the laptop display instead with the denon sc6000 you could be miles away and still see clearly on the denon display hahahaha lol. But great video.

hows the cross fader feel on the mixer for scratching? I've heard mixed reviews. also is there a way to adjust pitch FX on the mixer?

@@djkit imho, not impressive at all. Major requested features not implemented, some strange flaws (4-beat emergency loop, just 1.0A USB, hot cue position...) and price even higher.
Is the x1850 absolutely necessary to run VDJ and stems ?
Can I use a 900 NXS2 and the 6000m togetjer for that ? Would there be any limitations ?

They aren't compatible with Serato just yet, but it's coming!

I ve one piece nexsus 2 player and 3 pieces much older players vinly etc ... But choosing cdj 3000 and denon 6000 I will go for denon due to low price for sure denon provides more for less bucks
The 6000s are amazing machines!
You can get two SC5000 (with 4 layers!) for less money than paying for ONE cdj3000 or even Nexus2, which are inferior units. Denon is the way to go.
Tidal has a lot of underground stuff actually! I play techno and it has brand new underground tracks.

There's not much in it to be honest, and pretty much every update that comes to the 6000s, Denon incorporate for the 5000s as well!

You only miss a bit of bigger screen/jog, the dark finish and SSD bay. That's it pretty much. I wouldn't even care.

Of course it is just media player. Only thing is you get quantize fxs only with denon mixer.
Absolutely! They will work with any mixer, but you may lose certain features.
The only thing that Denon needs to work on is there fader and play cue buttons you would think it's a Inmusic company bran you can put a rane fader in it. Ijs
The cue buttons have improved on the 6000s compared to the 5000s, what is it hat you don't like?
@@djkit I would prefer them to be round, but that's a nit-pick. I am an SC6000 owner, btw.
Also, the fader on the x1850 is user changeable.

@Daniel Spaniel I own the SC5000's, a Pioneer DDJ SX3 and the Rane 72 and 12s.
So if you're a fanboy just for Denon that's cool, but I'm not a sheep for any 1 camp.

It needs a sampler function or standalone sampler, you need a licence to use VDJ not cool Denon for 3k gear and have to pay VDJ is shambolic I hope that is not the case when serato is integrated
In fairness, that's not really Denon's fault, it's up to VDJ to give the license away for free.. A standalone sampler would be pretty cool though!
Blame VDJ for costing $300. Also, the CDJs don't have sampler either. So why you even cry and blame Denon? 100% agree with djkit (cool video btw!)
@@ImpactSpace Its a missed opportunity where the sampler is concerned for Denon (unless they do make their own), Pioneer has the djs1000 as a standalone sampler. Denon has advertised VDJ in their release video but did not specify the need for a licence, in any case I still dont agree with paying the £300 to use VDJ if others their choice
@@alexzanderking1556 Hmm, but the DJS1000 cost even more money. And yes, all brands that advertise VDJ support assume that the users know you still have to pay for the license (I fully agree that $300 is too expensive, that's why I am a Serato fan).
@@ImpactSpace any additional equipment will cost more money Denon did not seek to implement sampler feature for the sc6000s (or for any of the prime devices for that matter) however in any case should Denon release their own version of a DJS it is likely to be less expensive than the DJS original RRP. We are agreed re the licence fee
