This was the first song i ever heard by Chris Cornell. I still remember how his vocals and emotional delivery blew me away. It was later that I learned that the song, and Temple of the Dog album, was a tribute to his good friend Andrew Wood, who had recently passed. Chris was an incredible singer, songwriter, and musician... If you haven't heard his original version of this song you NEED TO LISTEN to it.
