You know, I don't want to sound like a "pro player", but I am proud to have completed this game (and the others) totally blind. DS1 I played completely offline and it was one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. If it were possible, I would like to forget everything about this game in order to experience it all over again.

@@WWRTheJudge It only ruins the the excitement if you stream it and look at the chat lol, online is awesome, even knowing that the first playthrough should be made with no summons, so you can learn. If you play offline you're not enjoying the game 100%, invading and being invaded is fun, alot of people love ds for the online. Btw in my first playthrough I summoned 1 guy cause I literally was stucked for 10 hours! If you feel that you tried, your best, or you are stucked in a area with low level gear and sl, invading is a good option and that system is in the game for that exact reason. If people have a work and a life, they can't fully dedicate themselves to dark souls. Let's imagine you can only play ds 3 hours a day, you won't learn nothing, summons are the only option sometimes. For souls noobies, the best is have a lot of free time, otherwise you'll get bored quickly and will forget everything you learned.

Her room is bright so it makes it harder to see the screen. just try looking at your phone on a bright sunny day without increasing screen brightness. but at least she gets how much more intense the scares are in this compared to later games even though it is slower. although if she was playing a sorcerer she would just be shooting everything no problem lol. sorcerer was the easy mode in this one.
I always try to make the most badass looking character possible, it gives me gaming confidence... the feel of a badass dark knight swinging around a great sword or a master of the elements lobbing spells to incinerate my foes. I actually hate when streamers use amazing character creation to make the most autistic looking alien monster in video game history... it breaks the aesthetics and immersion of the game in my humble opinion.
@@Ghost.Spectrum That’s why I loved when they started adding the hide-helmet option in video games, to where it is still on but you don’t have to have it on, if that makes sense. You get to see your beautiful creation without negating your defense in the process.

I could not agree more. There's so many other options and entertainment, if you don't like something, cool, go do something else. Putting pressure on a content creator not only makes their life more difficult but can sometimes cause them to comply or not stream as much meaning those of us who DO like them for who they (and what they do) miss out.

Yes. However, the upgrades that we saw i ds3 is much welcome. Like the increased running speed, the life/mana-system and alot more. Despite this I also feel that ds1 is the best one. Best world and atmosphere and that goes along way.

Very excited to see you play this. I'll never forget my first time through Dark Souls 1. The other soulsborne games are good, some are even great, but this one is truly special and i love seeing people experience it for the first time since it's the closest i can get to experiencing it for the first time again myself!
Imo Bloodborne and Sekiro are easily better than dark souls..the 2nd part of dark souls is pretty mediocre with some awful bosses..just my opinion though i am sure quite a few people will agree with me.
The combat in Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro feels nicer, more smoothed out and fine-tuned, than Dark Souls 1, but I like the maps and exploration the best in Dark Souls 1.
It was your first game. Demon's was mine. It's the game I have that "special" memory attached to exploring, fighting through and beating. But honestly I think DS3 and especially Bloodborne are better games (controls, combat, enemies, bosses...). The map design in the first half and only the first half (because everything after the lord vessel is kind of crappy) is what DS1 excels at imo.
@@MrSekeeroMan Eh idk. First of all, DS1 NAILS the lore and fantasy atmosphere better than pretty much anything out there, IMO Witcher 3 can hide in this aspect. And the second half having some awful bosses is true, but so does the first half(Capra is awful)... And I do admit that on average other souls games have a higher quantity of good bosses, but they just don't have O&S, Artorias, Kalameet, Manus, Gwyn, etc. These bosses are simply legendary, not only because of their masterful placement, good difficulty and uniqueness, but the lore is absolutely fantastic and the presentation is off the charts! I have a very soft spot for Kalameet, because he is IMO a very rare case of a dragon done right in media these days where dragons are low key pets or idk what else, where I want my dragon to be this smart majestic GOD and Kalameet definitely delivers on all aspects IMO.
In your head maybe as a response to what you see and know, but keeping that backseat gaming to yourself is not that difficult. It just requires not taking the efford to type stuff down.

Coming from Dark Souls 3, the gameplay here might seem a bit klunky (specifically the dodging). But the overall level design here is so much better, I think. I like how you have more choices of where to go next, and the fact that you can level up from any bonfire just makes it flow more smoothly. I wish the layout of DS3 had been more like that.

@@jimmygs3779 Yeah I hadn't noticed. It looks like she's not highlighted pre-DS Pt6 streams to archive them for longer than 14 days. But she has for a some other streams, so yeah good spot. She should do really because even Twitch notifies streamers that a large percent of people who watch highlight will start watching live.

Very excited to see you play this. I'll never forget my first time through Dark Souls 1. The other soulsborne games are good, some are even great, but this one is truly special and i love seeing people experience it for the first time since it's the closest i can get to experiencing it for the first time again myself!

Imo Bloodborne and Sekiro are easily better than dark souls..the 2nd part of dark souls is pretty mediocre with some awful bosses..just my opinion though i am sure quite a few people will agree with me.
The combat in Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro feels nicer, more smoothed out and fine-tuned, than Dark Souls 1, but I like the maps and exploration the best in Dark Souls 1.
It was your first game. Demon's was mine. It's the game I have that "special" memory attached to exploring, fighting through and beating. But honestly I think DS3 and especially Bloodborne are better games (controls, combat, enemies, bosses...). The map design in the first half and only the first half (because everything after the lord vessel is kind of crappy) is what DS1 excels at imo.
@@MrSekeeroMan Eh idk. First of all, DS1 NAILS the lore and fantasy atmosphere better than pretty much anything out there, IMO Witcher 3 can hide in this aspect. And the second half having some awful bosses is true, but so does the first half(Capra is awful)... And I do admit that on average other souls games have a higher quantity of good bosses, but they just don't have O&S, Artorias, Kalameet, Manus, Gwyn, etc. These bosses are simply legendary, not only because of their masterful placement, good difficulty and uniqueness, but the lore is absolutely fantastic and the presentation is off the charts! I have a very soft spot for Kalameet, because he is IMO a very rare case of a dragon done right in media these days where dragons are low key pets or idk what else, where I want my dragon to be this smart majestic GOD and Kalameet definitely delivers on all aspects IMO.
It's scientifically impossible not to backseat a Dark Souls playthrough.

Coming from Dark Souls 3, the gameplay here might seem a bit klunky (specifically the dodging). But the overall level design here is so much better, I think. I like how you have more choices of where to go next, and the fact that you can level up from any bonfire just makes it flow more smoothly. I wish the layout of DS3 had been more like that.
