What an amazing layout !!! - Super cab ride - everything covered from the beautiful scenery to the 'infrastructure sequences' - the latter adding a surreal quality to the ride and illustrating many parts not normally seen from track-side. An absolutely incredible amount of work has gone into this layout. Congratulations to the constructers and thanks to Pilentum for sharing a work of art.
This is mind boggling. Just thinking about the amount of time, effort and money that went into creating this is more than I can wrap my head around. Thank You for sharing this incredible ride along.
Normally when filming a model you see it's a small model, because the eye of the camera is too big compared to the model. But your camera-eye apparently was very small, so I really get the impression I'm in a real-sized landscape and I just anywhere could simply leap off the train to take a hike! And the backdrops... man wow! Huge! Like real. AND THERE! A GIGANTIC MAN DOWN IN THAT VALLEY!!! LIKE GODZILLA!!! AND HE'S BALDHEADED!!!! WE GOTTA CALL THE ARMY!!! ... I sheer feel the cold evening breeze ... The tunnel architecture inside is wowing!
All I can say is there is a LOT of beauty in this setup (along with a LOT of work)! If one didn't know any better, one would think this is a real train trip around the beautiful part of the world! Thank you so much for sharing this with those of us who will NEVER get to see Germany, Switzerland and Austria!
Riding along on your train is the best thing ever! It is so relaxing and inspiring. I am absolutely stunned at the amount of detail and completion of all of your miniature work and landscaping. I am absolutely fascinated. Liking and subscribing aren’t enough. Your ride is so much smoother than most (camera) videos. It is a pleasure to just put this video on and let it run while I work.
One of the layout that I like most, because it´s big, very nice, a lot of different trains, etc. I also have a Märklin layout, of course a zillion times smaller 😁 ! I am planing to visit this exhibition in September. Thanks for the video!
Let's get to the club car and order up my ususl (gunnies and ale . 1/2and 1/2 ) and enjoy the ride. My compliments to the engineer for a nice ride. 🚆 whoo hooo!!!!
I like the quality of the design (specifications) and the workmanship but have curious outlook on the overall layout. It seems the layout was designed to impress other model railroaders and not to entertain the public. Why else would so much of the layout be ‘hidden’ at a ratio of at least 50/50 and maybe closer to 70/30 (based on cab ride video)?
I was impressed by the construction, detail to the wiring, the rock cliffs were excellently done as well as the vehicles moving about on the roads. WELL DONE!! Now for the part I didn't like. This layout ends up with the trains spending more time running under cover than out in the open. That's too bad for the visitors because the trains are the heart of any layout. Overall, I give this layout a 9 out of 10 on the "must see" scale.
Heavily filtered air cleaning/flow system for the building. You can effectively remove the majority of the particulates that way. Think clean room environment for PCB component manufacturing, very similar.
QUESTION: If one of the trains derails inside the superstructure of the layout, how do they retrieve it? I can't see any real access points in the tunnels.
They have a crane and a lifting platform. During the filming, the train got stuck in the tunnel twice. The rescue took 15 minutes - they are very acrobatic workers there :-)
enice to se the landskabe, the insite of the mauntins, whit its "spirals"/elevators that brings trains up and dovn to the seeling. And it is god, that yuo let the trains stop on stations. And another thing, that the trains gome so theit efter itch other. It make it more, real time. thanks, and take care, whit greating from denmark,, hei
The travel "behind the scenes " of this train does seem excessive. I wonder if a visitor has the same impression because there are many more trains running on the layout at the same time that we are not aware of in this video.
The loud scratching sounds seem to be when the camera sometimes rubs the overhead wires which are only for show. Power is supplied to the trains thru the rails.
Man, you really need a new high-end GoPro for these runs. The footage is all so grainy/blurry at speed, especially the distant terrain. Would also give us a much better resolution in the lowlight areas.
Some of the routes are repeated. Some of the routes are not covered completely. Nevertheless, it is a really good railroad model and a lot of effort must have been put into making this excellent model.
I'm from India. I've never gone abroad and it will take a long time for me to get a chance to go abroad. I would be more than happy to get a chance to go to this museum. Right now my only option is to see this model from UA-cam.

Did you see the crash at the end of the video? Nobody is perfect, not even Pilentum :-)
Relax, the crash is nothing compared to the scary bald giant that walks by the side of the railroad in the beginning at 2:50
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I didn't see that but i think the early passing train took out the interfering giant.
Only Allahu Akbar, and It's good entertainment
The crash was because of the malfunction of the points near the switch rail.
@@felipedourado5721 Luckily. The bald headed giant seemed friendly enough to solve any problems...
What imagination and brain power to conceive and realise such a monumental construction
The attention to detail is beyond words.

BEAUTIFULL... Really unbelievable ... It's possible to see that layout for Real .
so many good scenes, you feel like you're traveling. Magical
All the good roads are out of sight behind the scenes!
Amazing!! When they come out of the tunnel you see nothing but beautiful landscape looks so real!!
There needs to be more people in the video enjoying this incredible display, kids and whole families.
That is so cool! KNOWING that it is a model RXR, at the same time, it looks so real.

what I dig about this one especially is that it starts in the tunnel

Okay, have a nice weekend :-)
@@pilentum Thank you, neverthless I watched about two hours of video yet :) .
Mr Porsche had a lot of help building this layout.
This is my most favorite video you have uploaded of all time! Thank you for making this!

I’d love to see another perspective and some behind the scenes of this layout.

Nothing is a buzz killer like getting into the mood of the ride then seeing some knothead guy insert himself into the video with his computer.

Mooie film. Dank u.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks.
The railway station in Joinville, SC, Brazil, would be perfect in this model.
Good erly morning from America
Good Morning!
That's one big awesome layout! Where is this located? Kinda looks like a TV studio or something.
What is the track footage beneath the layout vs whats visible on top of the layout?
I guess this is the underground railroad
You got a pretty good landscape in your own house😆
Very nice layout ☺
Wow its a beautiful
A PILENTUS está de parabéns.
60% of the track must be on the “back lot” instead on the model. Kind of boring to to spend most of the time in the service areas.
I was impressed by the construction, detail to the wiring, the rock cliffs were excellently done as well as the vehicles moving about on the roads. WELL DONE!! Now for the part I didn't like. Jaw dropping. Pure amazing! B.P.
Stunning 👍🏻👍🏻
Question:
How you clean that big layout, because dust will settle in time?
Heavily filtered air cleaning/flow system for the building. You can effectively remove the majority of the particulates that way. Think clean room environment for PCB component manufacturing, very similar.
I wonder what grade of "clean room" this building is set up for. I can see the effect that dust has on my layout and it isn't nice.
i have heard some combat dust by having air flow constantly creating more pressure inside then outside pushing the dust away
OMG , WHERE DID MR. PORSCHE GET THE $$ TO BUILD SUCH A NICE LAYOUT ?? LOL
Trains spend more time behind the wall then in view of the public.
I love this contenu 🤩🥳🥳

That "C" track system, or whatever it is, is wasted on non-scenic sections, which are extensive on that layout.
The train crashed at the end. I couldn’t stop laughing
You see, even Pilentum is just an ordinary cameraman.
It's the malfunction of the points near the switch rail.
👍👍👍👍😍 super
There are giants among us, and they live underground.

beau réseau , mais beaucoup trop sous tunnel
I can’t even imagine how much it cost to build this layout
Don't ask about the money, just enjoy the layout :-)
Many hundreds dollars...
I keep hearing electrical cracking. Are these trains running on the overhead wires?
The loud scratching sounds seem to be when the camera sometimes rubs the overhead wires which are only for show. Power is supplied to the trains thru the rails.
