The camaraderie on this fishing pier is amazing! I mostly fish off the peers in the keys, and you’re so separated from everyone else that you’re out there fishing by yourself
I like that 706 on your cart !!! Now you've got my attention, thats my style !!! As a matter of fact, there are lots of 706s on the pier in this video. Thats how ive ALWAYS gotten it done !!! Every few years just get yourself a new HT 100 drag washer kit and youll be good to go !!!!
The 706 is my favorite reel to use when king mackerel fishing. The only problem is my viewers REALLY hate how noisy they are! Hahaha. I get it! They only wanna hear drag screaming! Hahaha
Nice job D. What a day to be out there. So when you use dead cigar minnows all you are doing is putting it in a treble hook? Do you use any kind of sinker? Thanks
Steel leader twisted tight to a barrel swivel on one end and a treble hook on the other! No weight or sinker. Free line the bait and keep it in the top of the water column and hang on! Haha
You always show the price admission on the piers. Thats for the day pass right? Is there a yearly or seasonal pass price? And including the military / veteran prices. Thank you.
If he can't run 10 seconds straight he's under 40#. Use long shank hook no leader when they get picky. Go thru belly for bright sun, top rear for cloudy. Those send the bait to the fish, they are deep when it's brighter. Top rig is #4 treb on 10 inches of 20lb single wire albright to 40lb flourocarbon. Use a 25lb swivel, 12lb mono line you can go 14lb but you can't throw as far and the bait don't swim as good with the thicker line. Bigger kings pick the least suspicious bait in our clear water. No 20lb line, we kill 45lb kings all day on 12lb test. I think kings can see power pro, haven't seen any over 20lb hit it. 5 miles out whole mullet or hardtail reign supreme.
Outstanding! Everyone working together like an orchestra to bring those fish in!

Can’t wait. Less than 2 weeks til I get to hit the pier, bay, and surf. Great vid man. You are one of the nicest most helpful UA-cam fishermen.

Sick! How many kings did you see caught?
Nice job D. What a day to be out there. So when you use dead cigar minnows all you are doing is putting it in a treble hook? Do you use any kind of sinker? Thanks
No sinker
Just a wire leder about 2 ft and a treable hook
Cast it out and let it float
Steel leader twisted tight to a barrel swivel on one end and a treble hook on the other! No weight or sinker. Free line the bait and keep it in the top of the water column and hang on! Haha

Awesome. Great content, keep em coming!
VitaminDee Great job bro, you think if i use a Forty pound braided line be good for king or go up to fifty
I use 25lb braid. The main thing you need to have is a steel leader. They have razor sharp teeth!
Shit bro now that’s a killer king fishing day 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I got on a few hot bites this year. Haha
I think that’s the dirtiest I’ve seen Navarre beach since I’ve been here
👍
