Nobody had a thousand horsepower on the streets when we were kids... If you had a 500 wheel horsepower car on the street you were as bad to the bone as it got😂... Now you got cars coming from the dealership with 200 more .. imagine how many more accidents there would be if their cars didn't have all these traction control and assisted driving nannies..

Big props again to Shawn providing this opportunity for these boys. Man imagine u had access to this kinda shop or tools when u was 15-17. Instead of being outside on the ground with your harbor freight sockets.
I feel you. I was also that kid on the ground in the driveway with his cheap sockets. It was what my dad could provide. He was absolutely gracious enough to let me keep that pos 64 falcon in his only garage space from the day i bought it all the way until I got out of the army at 33.
Aiden has come a long way turning wrenchs since the chevelle first hit the youtubes. I know how hard it is to watch someone struggle who has never turned a wrench...its painful! Great job.
Watching Aiden’s car get loaded up at night on a open trailer looked liked a flash back to the early days of the OG show.

After having to change my gearbox in the rain on pebbles this weekend.... these kids got it good, for me its just a hobby mild cams yes its 16v. Aftermarket inlet aftermarket ecu, ported head, exhaust nothing mad but daym I would love to have anything 50% of what u guys have! Keep up the hard graft. That's a lot of power for those kids. Hope they will be responsible and smart about driving it. I hope they realize how fortunate they have it, having good parents that help with what they do. Those cars are impressive and i really like the falcon. I was pretty impressed with teaching them how to keep the cars running by doing a compression and leak down test.
Keep the rubber side down boy's and don't overdrive your skills. Because that's how you tear shit up and get hurt. Awesome car's and just go out and have fun and good luck boy's.

Them are some bad rides, but I’d definitely put a cage in the chevelle like a 6pt or something. I’ve had some decently powered street cars, but nothing with that much power at the wheels. Glad you’re teaching them how to take care of them, it’s fun having toys but you gotta take care of them because they get expensive fixing them. Great work guys.

I remember back in the early : mid 90s I was working with my dad doing heating and air. He drank 24-7 even on jobs, so he always had to pull over and piss lol well he sees what looks like metal deep in these woods off highway. We walk way into the woods and there sits a complete 68 Camaro ss 4 speed hideaway headlights, car was complete and in way better shape obviously bc this was years ago. Got the registration out the glove, my dad tracked him down and we got the car for 1500 bucks. He had a old Willys Jeep and few other old straight 8 cars in the woods in middle of nowhere . You just never know where they may sit.

There was a guy in El Reno who did machine work who had a green on green with white stripes big block SS Chevelle, it was either a 68 or 69 and I’m pretty sure it was a 454 , he would not sell it for YEARS because his son was born in the car. All it did was sat in his driveway with no cover on it for as long as I can remember . It was in excellent shape. He finally sold it.
It is a 70 454 SS and He got tired of everyone bugging him about the car and Hid it. He did not sell it,

Text book is to crank at least 6 rotations looking for the max reading, I think you will get closer readings with that method. The first pump could be starting half stroke on one and full on another need to pump 6 or more to get full reading.

Interesting about the compression test method. I've always been one to hang the throttle open and just crank it till it won't crank anymore. I'm prolly just dumb though.
