We've been using these at our church for about two years. They work great. The batteries are starting to go but again, that's two+ years of constant use.
Jimmy, I use the U4's every Sunday. We use Allen and Heath ME-1 as personal stage mixers, but I run my personal U4 out of the mixer so that I have wireless transmission of the in ear mix. I love it and works great. I also use the Nux 5.8 wireless guitar system every Sunday as well. No issues with either product so far. Great video bro.
I've been using this Xvive for over 2 years now... they are built like a tank, I've dropped this thing so many times. Also the not having to change batteries is the best. If you forget to charge then, and they are completely dead, you can charge them for about 15 to 20 min and you can still get a good 30 to 45 mins of juice
I have the BASN BMaster's and just love them for guitar. I tried a lot of sub-$100 IEM's and these where the most pleasing to me. Top end that wasn't brittle.. nice mid-range boost on them and smooth bottom end. I normally use over the ear Byerdynamic 900-x pro's and these are very similar is sound presentation.
I LOVE my BASN BMaster Triple Drivers - I imagine the quad drivers sound even better...though I'm not sure I can get past the "bling" look of them. I have a set of all black Triple drivers and a set of white/black triple drivers and they're my go-to IEMS now. Great price and and quality without paying an arm and a leg
Hi man!! im gonna buy one of those! what's the best option? The Xvive u4 or the Phenix pro PTM-10 ? im looking for the most reliable system to not worry about interference and other stuff
We just got the xvive for our church worship team and it’s the version with the 4 receivers/1transmitter. And I’m having issues with it cutting in and out. I’ve tried other channels but it does the same. I noticed it’s worse when I use my iPad
@@HeyWorshipLeader yea I’m probably going to return them or resell them. I just can’t get them to work properly. I got the phenyx pro you reviewed and those are much more dependable.
Wow this is a cool product! Just as you mentioned, if it was in Stereo, this could be so much more useful!! I wonder if there are other products just like this but in stereo: It would be the best solution to what I'm needing myself. Our team uses wired IEMs using a personal mixer not dissimilar to the Powerplay16 in your video, so having a transmitter stick and receiver with a volume control would be so clutch. Anything out there that you're aware of?
@@HeyWorshipLeader Side note, I got some custom IEMs from Wavs last year and like a doofus I misplaced them and had to break out my KZs and actually was super impressed with the sound quality. Wavs wasn't really cutting it for me in sound-quality, though custom IEMs are unmatched in noise isolation and fit. But man I'm second-guessing going back to Wavs if I find them/get new Wavs. All that to say, I always find it good to have backup IEMs. Would you suggest the KZs stay as my backups and I go for the BASN as a main?
Our lead guitar and singer used these in my gig band. Unfortunately the guitarists transmitter stopped working, so he started connecting to the singers signal to share a mix. Week or so ago the singers receiver power switch or something got pushed in/broken.
The only major issue I am having is that when I use the wireless in ear monitors (Xvive) with a router/wireless ipad control/recording to usb, the router connection drops out and we lose all wireless control. This is terrible during a performance which has happened.
I bought the product today and it arrived. I tried it on my focusrite sound card, but the sound has an annoying sizzle. Any ideas as to why? Otherwise I will have to return it.
@@HeyWorshipLeader In my experience In-ears diminish the energy and spontaneity of live worship. Why does it need to be so quiet? My amp in 45W mode through a 1x12 doesn’t have to be loud. Using floor wedges I can adjust my mix by moving closer to the monitor or closer to my amp mid riff. The sound of a tube amp filling and interacting with a room by itself is a thing of beauty. I’m sure a good sound engineer with good equipment can restore some of the energy. A lot of churches depend on volunteers to run sound that don’t understand gain staging or compression. Both of those are crucial for achieving a usable in-ear mix. Every time i’ve been asked to use in-ears the mix was unusable. I’d love to be able to show up with just a pedalboard and not lug my amp and cab.

That’s the exact system I have and I love ‘em. The BASNs have a really nice range. The system works especially well in noisy cafes.

Have you come across any other systems similar to the U4? My team and I could really use a stereo version.
Thanks man...what again is the difference between getting your in-ear mix from the ME-1 and the mixer?
@@HeyWorshipLeader the ME-1 is a personal mixer on stage. Just like your Behringer p16, it just goes along with our FOH console.
@stevenplacke5709 I have not. Atleast in the "budget" realm.

Amazing quality of video and comments!
Glad you enjoyed it!

9:31 "WHL" Worship Hey Leader???
Haha. I don’t even know my own channel!
I would never go to a church that requires musicians to use In-ears.
Why is that?

I almost stopped watching when you said it's mono... sad!
I know man...I don't know how hard it would be, but that would be the ultimate solution
Mono 👎
I know man...hopefully they'll make one
