How To Manage Purchase Orders In Wunderbuild

This video will cover how to manage purchase orders in Wunderbuild.
- Purchase orders in Wundebruild are the outgoing costs in your project associated with your supplier.
- Keep track of the costs of your job associated with your purchase orders. In the overview tab for a job you can see costing metrics such as the estimated cost of your job and next to that the 'true cost' which relates to the purchase orders made in that job.
- In a job's costing tab you can select multiple items in a category or a singular one and create a purchase order for those items of your choosing.
- Attach a supplier to the purchase order
- If you are dealing with sole traders that are not registered for GST, you can make your purchase orders GST free.
- Each item in your job's costings in the costings tab that has a purchase order created for it will have a purchase order icon next to it so you can view all the purchase orders for that item. Clicking this icon will take you to the purchase order tab inside your job and will show you the purchase order you clicked on.
- Alternatively, you may view all your purchase orders in the purchase orders tab of your job where you can also create more purchase orders.
- When creating purchase orders, if you are creating a new item that you are purchasing that does not exist in your costings you can choose an existing category from your costings for that item or create a new category which will appear in your costings tab. However, if you are using an existing category, you can also optionally link that new item you have created that is being purchased to an existing costing item.
- Send your purchase orders to your supplier's email via Wunderbuild and add any necessary attachments.
- Receive purchase orders in Wunderbuild to finalise them.
- Once you mark a purchase order as received, you can see your true cost in your job's overview has increased and your gross profit will have decreased.
