Steering Quickener Install / lotus 7

So in this video i installed a Speedway motors 2:1 Steering Quickener
to help fix the Terrible steering ratio.
Hope the Lotus doesnt feel like im driving a school bus now.
I also test it at another Autocross event at the end.

You should probably add a gusset to that bracket. I'm building one as well, using an NC Miata steering rack, that I had to shorten 9.156"(!). My tires are hitting the control arm. I machined some teflon bushings, that I've placed on the rack shaft(on the ground rack shaft, just behind the inner tie rod) to limit that. My steering wheel goes exactly as yours, 1 turn and a 1/4. You don't run a swaybar?

if you could figure out what lower bar joint you have you could just find a taller one to raise the tie rod hook up point above the control arm. it might still rob under some suspension travel though. love the jack and jack stand method of holding the car up instead of two jack stands
