@@hasanhamzah1149 Iban is Malayo-Polynesian. While Polynesian is another branch of Austronesian. Of course, Iban is related to Malays from Malayic languages which also branch of the Austronesian language family. It is thought that the homeland of the Malayic languages is in western Borneo, where the Ibanic languages remain. The Malayan branch represents a secondary dispersal, probably from central Sumatra but possibly also from Borneo. In fact, Ibanic language also branches from Malayic language. For a simple view, Austronesian -> Malayo-Polynesian, -> Malayic -> Ibanic. There is also another Ibanic sub-group which related to each other which is Remun, Mualang, Seberuang, Sebuyau, and Bala'u.

Beer For Breakfast Yes, it's the old wooden house and quite similar with the long house in the video. 😁 It was really fun. They used to have hammock too. I think the people there replace it with new, modern long house.
Well, I come from a longhouse too, but our longhouse is a bit modern but the structure and its design is still a typical Iban Longhouse of the old days. Anyway, our longhouse is a bit further from the one you visited in Lubok Antu, not far from a town called Saratok. It is reachable by car along the Pan-Borneo Road.

Hi.... Love both of you. Sure, you are having a great time at the longhouse. Am Iban and am proud of our culture and friendliness.
Awww that is so lovely! We had an amazing time in this longhouse. Cannot wait to visit some other longhouse in the future again 😍
Maybe next time you should visit Anah Rais Bidayuh longhouse as well. I love your editing skills 😍
Charlene Joyce, I second you. Perhaps Team B4B will considering to spend their Gawai fest in Annah Rais in Kuching next year. I’ve spent few nights there 10years ago. Super chill & it was an awesome experience. ❤️❤️❤️
