Oooh man that opening with the Lord’s Prayer is chilling, speaking as a former Catholic. And that cold, calculating way you mentioned burning down Paris was somehow far more terrifying than the original. Fantastic. One hell of an atmosphere to this cover and I’m here for it.
Frollo isn't a priest he or in this instance she is either a minister (in the movie) or an archdeacon (in the book) and thus holds an administrative role within the church rather than an pastoral one
I would love to see a Cinderella villain song! Maybe this time around, Cinderella failed to escape from her locked room, and thus she never got to try on the glass slipper. Getting tired of the mistreatment of her stepfamily, she finally decided to take matters into her own hands. She stole the Fairy Godmother's wand, and then used magic to put the Tremaines in danger. Lady Tremaine sweated profusely, unable to comprehend what was happening, as Cinderella smiled amusingly at her stepmother's shocked expression...
She could also just go on a murder spree with a knife and then somehow bring them back over and over again with the wand And then people try to stop her but she stops them instead and then in the final parts, there is a battle between Cinderella and some others that by the end everyone is dead fr, including her
Lydia, hearing you cover this villain's song got me thinking... have you ever thought about remaking/making a villain's song so he or she sounds like a good guy? You've done this with several princesses, but turning them into villains, so I wondered if you've ever considered turning villains into heroes. I would find it really interesting to hear what you could come up with, you're always so good at it.
You know there's a point in Gaston's life where he's not yet done anything irredeemable, and Belle is imprisoned in a dungeon. My suggestion on this would basically be "What if, instead of mocking Maurice and forming an underhanded plan, he humoured the old man, and discovered there was indeed a Beast holding Belle prisoner?" That'd prevent the moral threshold horizon being crossed, and at that point, a rendition of "The mob song" could be done out of actual concern for Belle's safety as it was in question, as opposed to jealousy.
Please may I request no one listen to the chanting in latin- I was not blessed with language skills ✌️ Presave this song to stream here! distrokid.com/hyperfollow/lydiathebard/hellfire

This is seriously one of the most beautiful and powerful songs among all Disney songs. And yet so underrated, and the whole movie too. You should do a cover of "Out There" if you haven't already. Oh and of course, as always, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Here's one, probably more in line with the Disney princess going villain songs you've done. But remember how at the last moment Esmerelda was being offered her life if she became Frollo, the Judge of Paris' mistress? This time she cracks like an egg and accepts. Phoebus is punished for insubordination (he was a knight so I don't think the judge could execute him), then sent back to the war front and dies in an English Arrow Storm. Quasimodo dies of a broken heart. The gypsies are purged (one way or another) and Esmerelda is left alone, with only Frollo. Frollo didn't live for that long he wasn't a spring chicken after all, but he did leave her a few things. Frollo wasn't a nobleman, but he was a well-paid and frugal man, meaning he left behind a lot of money, money that he didn't have family to leave to, save for a son born out of wedlock. Getting the king to assent to his son-of-a-gypsy bastard to inheriting the money and the fine town house in Paris was easy enough. Though whether Frollo was in his right might, or actually signing anything when he made his petition to the king is debatable. So now Esmerelda is a rich woman with a fine house and a son to take care of, but NO ONE in this city likes her. Phoebus refused to look at her before he was sent back to the war, even when she visited him in prison. The few gypsies left around Paris consider her dead to their community and a traitor, the people of Paris mock the woman who thought she could make a fool old fire-n'-blood Frollo, also she was an open mistress and a gypsie. All she has is her wealth (that's technically her son's) and her boy, who has much of his father in his appearance, save for her own green eyes. The song takes place when she is going to Notre Dame cathedral for service as the service ends, she decides to show her son around the place, he wanders away from her and finding that same statue of the Virgin Mary and the Christ Child, she starts a dark rendition of "Children of God", at some point she goes up to the belfry where Quasimodo used to live, it's been abandoned for years, only a ringer that lives elsewhere in Paris goes up there. The little panorama of the city is still dashed to the floor during Frollo's argument with Quasimodo, the gargoyles are gathering dust and cobwebs, clearly they haven't moved in years, and the ending of the song has her finding the carving of Quasimodo, and the torched hunk of Charcoal that once depicted her.
LET'S GOOOO THIS IS AMAZING!!! The contrast between your Frollo remaining cold and calm in the bit where he was losing it in the movie ("if I have to burn down all of Paris" said in that chillingly calculating tone) the Paternoster at the start, CHILLS. @@TheGrimoiresVoice Yep, Descendants actually gave Frollo a kid! She was a book exclusive character, though and only appeared a couple of times, mostly if the author needed background characters to fill out party or school scenes.
