Dave Treadway Tribute with Kasper

- Today marks a year that Dave crossed into heaven, his biggest adventure yet, but one we can't follow him on just yet.
This year has been extremely challenging and extremely beautiful. Becoming a single mother, giving birth to our third son, learning to bank and fix snowmobiles, and trying to create a home where we can grieve, heal and feel loved.
Dave's last post to social media was a quote his mom had taught him "the sweet isn't as sweet without the sour".
Every time I hear my boys laugh, see them smile and watch them experience joy, the 'sweet' almost overwhelms me and that is beautiful.
The love and support that has rallied around our family; food, dirt bikes, surf trips, we have been so Loved and that it beautiful.
This video was shot 2 weeks before Dave passed away, we held it back as we were not ready to share this treasure with the world, but feel now is the perfect time.
I hope you enjoy it, learn from it, share it and Chase Life!

Oh my Lord. That is so beautiful. It's so good to see Dave and hear his voice again. I'm crying cuz I miss him and laughing with joy at that special time with Kasper (and all the special times you all had together). Thank you ever so much for sharing it. Today will be really special as we drive by to celebrate his life, we were away and missed his memorials here. You are always in my heart, on my mind and in my prayers. God bless you and keep you.. Love always. We look forward to seeing him again in the heavenlies.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I came across this video seemingly by chance (who understands the algorithms anyway....) and it really touched me. As a father and a skier I feel inspired but also reminded that I must make the most of every second I spend with my son. Skiing is such a great way to do that as your video clearly shows. The mountains are constantly calling, its the place I need to be, but right now borders are shut, travel is unsafe and who knows when we will be able to go back? Take care!

Jesus comes sooner than most think.what a beautiful son and other kids you people have, Dave lives but than in heaven, sad for your family, but dave prepares things up there, the fact he is with Jesus.
