Boss Battles is indeed as close to a must-have expansion as you can get! It adds so much to the base game, and like you point out, Steve, it makes crafting and difficulty tuning easier with the rookies too. KtHO is such a great game.
Completely agree! I've been loving Keep the Heroes Out even more after that expansion. So good!
