    Hey! Welcome to Bucharest! By chance happened to see your video and just wanted to welcome you in our incredible country. I'm sad that you didn't had anything planned cuz you'll probably miss a lot of places and a week isn't that much time to explore. Either way, enjoy your stay ! Cheers

      Thank you so much! It was definitely very beautiful and worth it! We didn't realize how much there was to do there and we will definitely be back because it was so amazing! We really enjoyed everything that we saw there! Especially Transylvania😊

    Your daughter is adorable. So smart. You seem like a really lovely family. I'm a fellow American living in Romania and I'm glad you had such a positive experience. I love it here.

    TIM! I still cannot believe this is the same guy I once use to play pickup ball with on the local courts. Never would have known this was the life you were after but wow, what a travelers dream. Hope you and the family stay safe and make tons of memories!

    Longest day EVER!! But as a wise young woman (Shahad) said, this only makes you appreciate the good times even more. I was ready for a nap after watching that long day. Lol. So glad you finally got on the plane! Gods plan. Romania, cant wait to see what this week holds. Love you kids!! Take care!

    Glad you guys made it there safely. I’m sure that mishap was a headache but that’s apart of the experience. I have a question for you guys what card do you guys use to travel? The lounges seem like an awesome addition to any travel.

    • @TheSchells
      @TheSchells  2 роки тому

      Thank you so much! It definitely is part of the journey and it makes the good times even better! There are a whole bunch of cards you can get that offer lounge access! The best one on the market right now is the Capital One Venture X, but Chase Sapphire Reserve is another good one. They allow access to Priority Pass Lounges for you and 2 guests so it's a huge help plus there are more features!

    When was this filmed? We are planning to go to Budapest mid March and wondering if these restrictions are still in place?

    • @TheSchells
      @TheSchells  2 роки тому +1

      This was like beginning February. I'm not sure if this changed but it was specifically for people going from Amman, Jordan to Budapest, Hungary. I'm pretty sure a lot of other countries didn't have these restrictions it was just Jordan. We are actually here in Hungary now we ended up traveling from Romania to Budapest through train and it was soo easy they didn't need anything but our passports! The easiest way to know is to call the Embassy of the country you're planning on going to that is in the country that you are leaving. They will let you know accurate information.

    Thank you for sharing this video. Do you happen to know if alot of people around you speak English is Bucharest Romania? Or no. And did you have to quarantine as well when arrived? Thanks

    • @TheSchells
      @TheSchells  2 роки тому

      Thank you for watching! Yes, a lot of people spoke English in Bucharest! We didn't have any problems at all with that! We didn't have to quarantine or have a pcr test, all we needed was a covid vaccine certificate. 😊

    • @Ama28
      @Ama28 2 роки тому

      @@TheSchells thank you. But if you don't have it. Them is quarantine a requirement or you don't know.

    • @TheSchells
      @TheSchells  2 роки тому

      @@Ama28 That's a good question! I believe it is required in that case, I would call the Romanian embassy from wherever you are flying out from to make sure. The embassies normally have the most accurate information.

      @@Ama28 Hi! I dont know if it is too late to answer your question. But, if it is still of any interest, you should know that starting with march 10th, all the covid-restrictions have been dropped in Romania. So no vaccine needed, no test, no quarantine, not even mandatory masks (even if they are recommended) ....
      Of course, this might change at a certain point in the future (if the number of people that need hospitalization is too high compared to what the medical system can handle), but i dont think it will happen too soon...
