    Thank you so much sir...
    I can't thank you more for you have been such a blessing to me during the times of tests.
    Whenever I had to memorize lots of information for the upcoming tests, I knew I would forget if I crammed, but i knew one thing for sure..if i use your techniques I will be able to recall it during the tests.
    It's extremely surprising to me why you haven't got one million subscribers.
    Using your methods from a free pdf I used to train myself on some chapters and made money by teaching them through Skype...
    Thank you so much sir...
    I am working on your methods to memorize important articles in the Indian constitution for my upcoming exam.
    God bless you sir..

    I am studying for the EPPP exam and there is enormous amounts of information to know and understand. It feels like climbing Mount Everest, it is just so much information. I came across the PEG memory system and it has helped me. But I am really interested in the Mind Palace as well. I think that it might be more helpful due to the massive amounts of information and the various areas of study. I’d love more info on the Mind Palace.

    This is EXCELLENT. First of all, I love how you memorised the fallen to honour their legacy. Also, the US Constitution is one of my favourite texts-- and I am British. The quality of language is just as great as the quality of ideas.
    Even though I have successfully memorised new words in foreign languages, I still get frustrated with being unable to recall them some time later. The method I have used is inefficient, and I have not allowed it to be a priority. What you say about memorising using the city reminds me of why sometimes I walk past a place and remember a particular thought I had at the time!
    In fact, just the other day, I wanted to know a word in Russian while walking. I memorised the word in a particular place. Days later, I wanted to look up another 2 Russian words, and memorised them in roughly the same place. I did not realise the connection until watching this video. I will DEFINITELY take advantage of this, as I have vocab lists to memorise in French, German, and Russian.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

    I only recently truly understood the power of reviewing before the forgetting curve starts. It makes a difficult task so simple. I am studying 5 foreign languages right now. I speak them all at different levels of fluency and I agree, it's meditative and extremely rewarding when I get to meet people from all over the globe and learn about their cultures.

    Great video, Ron. I'm planning on memorizing the multiplication tables up to 99x50. That's 4,845 problems, skipping the first nine tables that go up to 12 which I already know, along with tables 10 and 11 which are easily inferrable.
    If I take an hour and a half to memorize 60 problems a day, in about 81 days (or approximately 3 months) I'll have all 4,845 problems memorized.
    This would mean that if anyone gave me a multiplication problem of any two digit or one digit number times any two digit number or vice versa I could answer it in an instant.
    Thanks for teaching me these techniques!

      Are there any math shortcuts you could learn that would help? What’s your strategy?

    • @abnerenriquez3737
      @abnerenriquez3737 4 роки тому +1

      Ron White Memory Expert - Memory Training & Brain Training
      Thanks for your interest, Ron. So far, I think only the shortcuts for 10 and 11 are close to being as fast as memory. Based on what I've seen, other shortcuts, like mental math tricks, are fast but still take considerably longer than having the problem with its solution memorized. I'm not entirely sure though, maybe I'll find some more worthwhile ones if I keep searching.
      My strategy is to take my images for the numbers that are being multiplied, as well as my images for the mulitplication sign and the equal sign, and visualize them in sequence.
      For example, 7x77:
      7: box
      x: exit (door)
      77: calculator
      =: couch
      539: lemonade, book
      I visualize a box (7) on the front porch of a house. Behind the door (x) there is someone inside the house solving math problems using a calculator (77). When he's done with his work, he sits down on his couch (=) to drink lemonade as he reads a book (539).
      So if I'm asked what 7x77 is or vice versa, I think of the box in front of the door, the calculator, the couch, the lemonade and the book, and I give the answer.

      @@abnerenriquez3737 you only need to do half of them as reversing the order is the same result. So, it's more like 99x50, but 1x is already done and same goes for 10x.

    Can I memorize huge dialogue for playing a character...does memory techniques help to become a actor ..

    • @SmallSpoonBrigade
      @SmallSpoonBrigade 4 роки тому +2

      You can, but you usually wouldn't. You'd likely memorize the ideas of the sentences and then let the character worry about the exact words. If you didn't get all of them precisely right and needed to, then you could go in with the memory system hammer and throw those words into some sort of mnemonic.
      Depending upon the director and the specifics, they may or may not need verbatim recitation as long as it's in character and draws the right response.
