Nice, SteveO! That Thrawn is the only "must have" figure from this wave, if you ask me, with the Grand Inquisitor coming in second. Nice grab! And thank you for the kind words, sir. I appreciate it.
Excellent collection of new star wars vintage figures keep collecting and may the force be with you all star wars fans the force is strong with this one paul collectables 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I enjoyed watching the review, I got VC-293 The Grand Inquisitor at Walmart on Dec 4th awesome action figure thumbs up👍👍May The Force Be With You Paul !
Thank you very much for the kind words, Frank. It is some times frustrating and discouraging that these "pre-ordered" cases are sent to me so late after the figures have been out on shelves for days, weeks, or some times even months. Thus, I end up publishing a video of figures everyone has already seen for a while. So, it is very encouraging and nice to hear that someone still enjoys watching them and I appreciate it! Thank you so much and may the force be with you as well!
Thanks, Michael! Remember the days when I only collected troopers or light-saber wielding characters? haha! What happened to me?! Now I have boxes of these things EVERYWHERE! Thanks for always stopping by. You know I appreciate you!
Right, Simon?! They did such a good job on the face sculpt. He looks sinister. This is by far the standout figure in this wave. I just wish they'd put him on a realistic card from Ahsoka. Still a great figure, though. And thank you for the kind words! I appreciate you stopping by and checking out this video!
Paul this one was a banger of a video but I am bias cause it has my favorite character in all of star wars in it. So you know my favorite is going to be Thrawn and I cant wait to get my Thrawn in. I really love all the TVC card backs. I wish they would have waited to release Morgan Elsbeth until after the show so that way we could have at least gotten her with the Talzin sword she had in the show. As far as Ashoka show goes it was pretty much season of rebels. thanks for the up close look at these and look forward to the next one.
Thanks, Ryan! I appreciate the kind words. And I totally agree with you about a couple things here. First, the Morgan figure. If they'd given us Shin Hati or Baylan Skkoll in her place, they could have done what you mentioned, and given us Morgan later, with the sword, and maybe even a swappable head with the Night Sister markings. Instead they made the odd decision to give us what looks like a middle age woman going to a formal party in the bubble with no accessories. Weird. Second, the Thrawn is definitely the standout figure here. I really like the Imperial officer look. For me, however, I wish they'd gone with a live-action image and just had this one come from Ahsoka. I get it though. This Thrawn ties in with the Ghost Haslab and the other Rebels characters. I hope we get a live-action card later. Thanks for always stopping by and commenting. I appreciate it!
Great review Paul! Agree with the Luke, they either need to do a soft goods tunic or all plastic. The half and half approach doesn't really work. All the rest of the figures look great although I would've packed Morgan with the sword of Talsin (probably left out due to spoilers) and would've had Ahsoka in her White outfit.
Yes, Matt! Everything you said here. That Luke is a wasted opportunity with that "half apron" thing he is wearing and I just think they could've found a screen grab where his facial expression was at least a bit more believable. And Morgan? Amen, brother! They should have delayed her release, and given us Baylan Skoll or Shin Hati instead Then, they could have released Morgan later, after he season wrapped up, with the sword and a swappable head that had the witch face markings. Now THAT would have been cool. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: they need to put you and me in charge of TVC at Hasbro! haha!
Holy crap, Arthur! You nailed it! THAT'S what he looks like! He has one of those mini, waist-high aprons on for sure. Thank you for put a finer point on my disappointment with this figure. I appreciate it!
Strong Wave of TVC! I found Thrawn in Target on Halloween! Great Video, Paul!

@@PaulsCollectibles honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he gets rereleased or slightly retooled and released on an Ahsoka card in a spoiler wave
