You did great. The thing is whether it's carnivore, keto, or whatever all diets work. You just have to choose one and stick with it. Calories in vs. calories out. You should work on weight training next and get some nice definition. It's never too late to start.

I lost 150lbs 6 years ago and have kept it off. I did low carb/KETO/carnivore, but whatever works for you is all well and good. I’m still 170lbs and never miss fast food now.
Totally agree!! I still take advantage of “dirty keto” with fast food, but working toward getting better! Congratulations on your weight loss and the ability to keep it off, maintenance is the hardest part!💯
Keto seems to work best when you need to lose fat/weight. Once you hit a goal and want to increase muscle mass or increase strength, It becomes really hard to do it on Keto since you need that burst of energy. Hi David - great vid - gives me hope - great work - i on day five of keto 2MAD - my starting weight is 320 pounds, like you in your start point, my fitness is shit!
Stick with it! Keto has been a game changer for me! My brother did “Dirty Keto” to lose the weight he lost and he did it with No Exercise. I just think fitness helps keep your head in the game and you will gradually get better and more into it as you start seeing results! Keep it up and don’t give up! You can do it!😎👊
Thank you for the great feedback on the video! My brother was able to lose weight on a low carb keto diet without doing any exercise, so it is possible to lose weight and not do fitness. I think fitness helps in many other ways though, you feel good after a workout and I think if your working out it helps keep your head in the game and focused and keeps you wanting to eat according to your diet. Fitness will get easier as you progress, so keep up the good work and don't give up, you can do it!
starting off with little changes is so important. when people try to do all or nothing it never works. you have to start small, for myself i just cut out fast food all together and only cooked my own meals, i didnt do zero carb or anything like that but i made sure to cut back on it. mostly protein and veggies stayed away from breads and noodles. it was a good start the weight dropped pretty quick and i was saving money.
Very true! Nice work!! It's such a game figuring out what works best for you. Staying away from breads and processed carbs is important in my opinion as well.
Wow God is amazing. You story is exactly where I am. 390 lbs ish (dunno exactly didn't want to) 43 years old and had to make a change. I am on high protein low carb diet and about a month ago I start to walk and now doing resistance band exercise as well. Though I have yet to face the scale I am seeing a change in my body and how I feel! I look forward to getting to where you are at, and to anyone thinking about needing a change you have to get started somewhere! God bless and good luck!

Good on you dude. That's an awesome transformation. I'm not that far behind you as far as age and starting weight, so it's time I started hammering down on my health more.
You can do it man, DO NOT let age or people around you that tell you weight gain is just apart of getting older stop you from starting, you can do this!! if you need more videos to help encourage you be sure to check out my other channel www.youtube.com/@milehighfatguy
@MileHighCampers I know I can, I just HATE doing it by myself because it's not fun.
Fitness will get easier as you progress, so keep up the good work and don't give up, you can do it!
stick with it, consistency is the most important ingredient

Keep the "fire" on for me.
You look brilliant,What a transformation,You should be so proud of yourself )
Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words! I'm just a work in progress but feeling good about steering in the right direction!
starting off with little changes is so important. when people try to do all or nothing it never works. you have to start small, for myself i just cut out fast food all together and only cooked my own meals, i didnt do zero carb or anything like that but i made sure to cut back on it. mostly protein and veggies stayed away from breads and noodles. it was a good start the weight dropped pretty quick and i was saving money.
Very true! Nice work!! It's such a game figuring out what works best for you. Staying away from breads and processed carbs is important in my opinion as well.
Well done !!
Inspirational! Good on you bruh!
