I remember being insanely successfull with it back in og cata and feeling like an unkillable trio of holy wrath.
But my servergroup was the worst of the german ones so my opinion might be screwed :D

Really great video once again! How much weaker do you think hunters and the aforementioned comps with hunters will be considering traps and pet movement are bugged in classic client? And what if they decide not to keep dismiss? Cheers!
If it’s a bug I assume they’ll fix it, slight nerf with the pets but hunters offer so much I don’t think it would even move them 1 tier
What is the pet dismiss? Does it not reset the CD like original cata in the classic verison?
@@Jang19918 not right now, I also heard it should do it again after prepatch, but don’t take my word for it
Hey great video, I really enjoy Holy priest, I know they're not amazing but I've seen alot of content suggesting they're not unviable either, would the best comps for them be the same as Disc's or could you think of another that it might benefit more from? Cheers
Hi, it is viable, same comps as disc, yeah - feral, rogue, maybe Uh DK, I have seen feral + holy priest near rank 1 in 2v2 but that was more for the fact that those players were exceptional
thinking about maining rdruid this upcoming pvp season. Was thinking of running a comp like rdruid, unholy+ something else. What do you think would be a good third pick? Rogue possibly?
Rogue would be good with it, mage, ret, warlock, SP - these would all work too, but best would be MM hunter
Meytrix, do you think it's worth leveling up archeology to get the two-handed sword in the first season of cata?
if you have good 5-10 hours a day just to play the game and it is the one thing why you wake up - then yes, for me - it isn't, I would rather go play roulette than trying my chances at getting Zin'rokh 🥲

Would you recommend disc or restoshaman for rogue hunt healer in the two later seasons? disc = more offensive which suits the comps burst potential nicely, while resto shaman = more healing output? Cheers
Exactly, they are both amazing, not many ppl can pull off playing disc properly, that is also why r sham is the safer choice

Thanks G, that could work pretty well, a combination of some of the best classes in Cataclysm, if there was a C tier - I think we could put it there
think thats called ebola cleave. has some strengths definately playable
do you think Feral/Ret/MM will be viable or is the rogue key to the 3dps comp?
rogue will be missed and is definitely a much better choice but feral is a good replacement, it's still gonna work, not as well but still a great combo
@MEYTRIX who would you recommend as the best 3 pics for the third class for following comp: Resto Sham, Balance Druid, ?
Sub rogue, ele sham, frost or fire mage, affliction warlock - all these I can imagine working very well with it

Not bad, I would say it is a worse version of RPS, but it would be still playable on a high rating anyway
My friend is rolling boomy, what would be the best partners for arena 2v2 and 3v3. I am thinking of rolling priest sp/disc, lock, or rogue
For 2v2: sub rogue, frost mage, ret paladin, for 3v3: r sham or holy pala healer + aff lock/sub rogue/ele sham/mage/SP
Is rogue hard in pvp? I heard they were brain dead easy in tbc but I’ve never played a rogue before. How easy are they in cata for like an average player? Thinking about trying one out and it sounds easier than feral. Thanks.
There is a lot of CD and CC management with rogues. Probably the hardest class imo. Hunter, of those mentioned S classes, would be the easiest to play.
it is extremely hard, it will take a lot of time and effort to learn rogue properly

I’m not going to push rating I just want the 100 wins. How hard will it be to play casually with friends as a Warrior? I always thought they were a pretty good PvP class but now I realize they’re not great…

Haha I had to push myself to start making videos again 😅 it is still a good and fun class, it’s just that the meta is clearly set now and warrior’s aren’t a part of it, but I myself still had a lot of success playing it and don’t regret it

any recommendation's for a new player? looking for super easy class to pick up.
Melee classes overall are easier, DKs which also perform really well, holy paladin for the healer
Im confused, a month or so ago you were saying disc priest wasnt as good as holy but now you're saying holy priest isnt viable in 3s? Is there context im missing like maybe you were saying that about 2v2s or RBGs?
Was I talking about holy priest or holy paladin though? 😅 holy priest may only be better than disc in BGs, there’s a few ppl that made holy priest work on high ratings even in 2s and 3s but it’s more of an exception, disc is mostly better than holy priest still

no, warrior better since it can peel for the warlock and shaman, but even ret works pretty fine, not a terrible comp actually
i thought about ret with a demo lock might be somewhat good and surprising in first season
felguard has a 5 sec 30sec cd ranged stun and 10% healing reduc

Stormforge Mistblade 2 is the best now, but it's pretty dead, no real good MoP servers around right now, unfortunately 🥲

great comp, probably B tier IMO, lacks peel from a class like rogue/feral/unholy, but the insane AoE and neverending CC, Unstable Affliction dispel protection, OP heals of r sham, it can destroy even some of the best comps

How good is ret + healer (disc maybe) in 2s?
it's good, disc can at least do some good dispeling and CC with fears, mind control, can even mana burn, so if you wanna play ret with a healer - definitely disc priest, but the games are gonna be super-long and boring so I would rather play double dps
What are your thoughts on SP/rogue/Rsham?

holy Pala / mage / which will be 3th best choice between arms/feral/subt?
subtlety rogue would be the best, essentially RMP with holy paladin instead of disc priest, feral would be the second best option

"holy paladin and resto shaman are the most offensive healers" why is that? isnt disc priest way more offensive cuz of 2x magic dispell? Also i am wondering why in the cataclysm arena finals videos from back in the day there were way more paladin healers in the finals?

is rogue/lock/rsham viable first season? feel like might be too squishy
It is amazing, totems and heals over time from shaman will be applied most of the game, warlock link, earth shield, a lot of passive mitigation, and ofc - ceazy amount of CC to keep you alive if you’re in trouble

Weak B tier or C tier, not too bad, but both warrior and shaman have better comps to choose from generally

Man RIP arms warrior. Is TSG or Ret/War not viable in 3s? TSG seems so good into lock or SP comps or simply training healers.
They are both good, was gonna place them in C tier, unfortunately - as soon as a feral or rogue jumps on your warrior - you can’t move anymore

Hi meytrix, how is warlock/rogue in 2v2?
hey Dam, it's alright for the warlock, but it's like number 10 comp choice for the rogue, rogues have waaay better options, but if you have a good friend you wanna play with and you're playing warlock & rogue, then you could make it work, but it will take time to learn all the CC chains and you will be frustrated facing other rogues, ferals and hunters on the enemy teams
How would ret/dk/feral be?
not very good, enough for some quick casual games but not competitive on higher ratings - however, if you were to replace the feral with rogue - then it would do much better
Did u forget about wls or am i blind, was also strong in cata and a crazy comp in mop

@@MEYTRIX Traditionally it’s supposed to be DK/Rouge/heal.
@sus3776 was honestly only good in s9 because of hungering cold being so good. Now that it's going to be nerfed probably won't be as good but still strong.

That is also a good one, haven’t seen it much in arena, both freal and rogue pair up better with a hunter but this could still be a B tier comp I imagine
Does "hunter" mean "survival hunter"?
Marksmanship unless stated otherwise, survival is PvE spec and Beast Mastery is decent in PvP but not nearly as good as MM

Warrior will be op. Plate so hunters and ferals cant so sheet to you, u can pick night elf to counter casters even more
@@GamingDualitieswarriors are not OP in cata. Cata is arguably the expansion where warriors were at their worst. They do a ton of dmg but they suffer a lot cause there’s way more CC in cata. MS debuff is only 25% in cata, they have less mobility and you have to time your CDs really well. If you reck you can’t shield wall like in wotlk so you need to know when to pop it or you will die. And in later seasons casters will take over. MLS will destroy any warrior team easily.

Mage priest rogue is very popular. Also was the highest rated back in the day. Not even close.
highest rated where? it was certainly not winning at Blizzcon, but it is a good comp ofc, on any expansion
