How To Make The Perfect Mediterranean Grilled Branzino

  • We had an amazing BBQ day filled with our favorite Mediterranean grilled food, and this video features two incredibly easy and delicious recipes - Grilled Whole Fish & Grilled Shrimp! We used Branzino and Red Snapper, but get any fish you prefer, as long as it's not too lean.
    This video will take you step by step through the prep stages, showing you how to make this perfect addition to your Mediterranean Diet recipes. And as always, subscribe, and comment with any question you have along the way.

    👩🏼‍🍳 Grilled Whole Fish:
    Whole Fish: Branzino, Snapper, Sole, etc.
    Olive oil
    Salt, pepper
    Lemon slices
    Sliced garlic
    Fresh herbs: parsley, cilantro, thyme, rosemary, oregano, etc.
    1- Rub a bit of olive oil and add salt and pepper inside and outside the fish on both sides.
    2- Inside, place lemon slices, garlic, and stuff with a mix of your fresh herbs.
    3- Keep in your fridge until you're ready to grill
    4- Bring fish to room temperature (about 10-15 min); Place on the grill and don't move for the first couple of minutes, to get crispy skin, and avoid sticking. Continue grilling on Medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side until fully cooked inside.
    👩🏼‍🍳 The Easiest Grilled Shrimp:
    10-12 fresh or thawed medium-large shrimp (we prefer peeled)
    5 Tbsp olive oil
    1/2-1 tsp chili powder
    4 garlic cloves, crushed
    Juice from 1/2 lemon
    Salt
    1- Mix all the Marinade ingredients, and add the shrimp.
    2- Keep in the fridge for at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours, and grill on medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side.
