- This is the demo of the Joyo / Harley Benton American Sound amp modelling pedal with harmonica, which is the clone of the Tech 21 Sansamp Blonde V1. (The Blonde V2 model has a speaker emulation switch on the front panel.) So basically the pedal emulates Fender tweed sounds, and I have to say, it does a preety good job at it . You can dial in badass Bassman sounds or nicely overdriven Champion 600 sounds, whichever you prefer. You can actually reduce the input signals of your very hot mics and use them on you favourite amp. You can also put the pedal right into an audio interface and DAW. You will be amazed! You can go to the PA but I recommend using a nice DI, like Radial JDI. You will also be amazed!
I used a VHT Special 6 amp, and a low impedance Thomann MB 75 (Shure SM57 copy) without an impedance matching transformer.
I also got the Joyo American sound pedal.
Thank you Prekop, this sounds great. Obviously you have good tone, but the pedal does an amazing job for such a low price. You just saved me $$ 👍
Glad I could help! 🙂
One thing that contributes to your tone is the room acoustics & recording mic location ... You've got a good tone, but it becomes a great tone when the recording tone is optimized. Well done sir!
That's a great demo, Prekop ~ covered all the bases. I have this pedal and use it often, paired with the Joyo Analog Delay, straight to the PA. Great tones, works like a charm
Good tone for a low budget.
Another alternative is the Ammoon American sound, which costs about $28US new from Ebay. Same thing, just different branding & font.
Thanks for the tip Jonathan!
Ça claque !!!!! so cool
Ca claque = its great, it rocks. Great phrase!
Is your amp adjusted? I have the same amp, but it seems to sound way more trebly.
At that time my amp was basically stock, except for the Philips 5751 tube at the preamp section. Most of the time I used the tone pot at around 9 o'clock.
