Just finished this level yesterday and beat the game. I consider myself a fairly seasoned platform gamer, but this level (especially the last part) is easily among the hardest "normal levels" I've ever played in any game in any genre. In other words, this is truly INSANE! I can't believe what I'm seeing. "Kudos" is an understatement. This is crazy!

As someone who just got done earning the platinum trophy for this game, I thought I was cool for getting a TFB relic on this level, so I came to check out the world record. Turns out you beat me by an entire minute. Lol. Akano spin boosting I understand fairly well and was able to utilize that, but ...I don't understand Kupuna Wa's power having a similar effect. How in the world does the time mask let people boost forward like that? That trick I never really understood, though I tried messing with it. Congrats, man! Absolutely demolished that level. What a legend.

Press the primary button to enable your masks power and the secondary button, (In this case L2 and Triangle on PS4/5) at the same time.
i got the dev relic also and he beat me by just under a minute that was an absolutely crazy run

I can't seem to do the Kapuna-ka speed glitch at all. Running on PC of that matters in case it has been patched
You need to press both mask buttons at once. You might be doing it at high framerates too, and thats seems to be the cause imo. Try it at 30fps.
