If he sands that acrylic he will never get it clear again... if your going to tho go up to 4000grit and then buff it with some cutting compound that’s the easiest way to get it fairly clear.
I've seen people work miracles buffing out scratches on acrylic but I'm sure it's something you can easily make worse if not done properly. Congrats on the baby stingrays. So amazing they can give birth to 7 healthy babies at one time
Hi Rod purchase the golden pathos, its a prettier version of the same plant. Gently remove the soil from the plant and put it in the tank with the roots exposed.Lights will really help the plant grow. But they will do fine with minimal lighting too. With the biological load you have with the fish, these plant will grow fast. The also grow from from cuttings. So I would suggest getting 5 large plants, this way you dont have to break the bank!! good luck Peace Vince R
Love those pups! Clip a few Finnex Stingray full spec lights on the back of that monster tank and it will keep your plants happy. Something like this, 5 or 6 of them attached to the back, would work: amzn.to/2EUut13 Beautiful selection of fish in that monster tank. Loved the feeding.
Rod, thought you'd be interested to know that I have a 17 year old Mayan. He/she is finally in the end stage of life, it's pretty sad. But it's definitely been a neat journey! Lots of personality, lol.
I gave you a like! Because I think you definitely need some albino rays. I think they are so pretty. Esp when they're slowly swimming through the water and their fins are gently waving. Yep. Albino rays for sure.
Rod, you could try to mop the acrylic with some ultafine compound, like the final stage of a proper paint job.. Hello from Wales Lisa and Rhodrigo...🔥🐲🔥
Peace lilies and pothos and monstera plants. Make something to allow the pothos to climb. When pothos starts to climb upwards, it starts to get bigger and take on its mature form. Google “pothos mature form”. And just move those lights back a little and the plants should be good. Some kinds of palm plants and ferns work good too. The plants will make that system so much better and the water even cleaner. GET ON IT!!!
You wont need a light for the pothos. They need hardly any light though they will grow faster with light. Set up a small pump to recirculate water through that overflow and back into the tank take all the soil off the pothos and they will grow great in the water and take up a huge amount of nutrients
Thats like guppy livebearer breeding to the extreme! A stingray! millions of years of evolution was born in that tank. Great work, and i'm pulling for your female bass, she doesnt look too good. Hope you can Save her, i know you'll give it your best!
Forgot if he said how long since the pbass ate. If it's a couple days I wouldn't sweat it. If it's looking like longer than that, then you might isolate it to a different tank and see if it'll start eating again(but you know this).
DeMetry Hardister I’m not a expert but from what I understand is when the ray gives birth, it excreets all sorts of fluid which in a container environment (like a tank) can make the water toxic . If you look up the marine center for stingray biology (Kevin) his videos are very informative about rays (I’m a noob but watch rodrigo and Kevin’s channels a lot)
Hahaha the intro was better than anything I’ve ever seen😂
Paul Cuffaro yup Paul 😂
You showed me those dance moves 🕺🏻
Idol

You guys are awesome...many blessing to the new baby on the way....
Great to see that huge high fin loach made it!
Predatory fins just hit different from other fishtubers. Keep that energy guys
If he sands that acrylic he will never get it clear again... if your going to tho go up to 4000grit and then buff it with some cutting compound that’s the easiest way to get it fairly clear.
not buff with cutting compound first to see if it buffs clear before trying to sand?
once you get it up to 4000 or higher would like a wax or polishing compound work at all like what they use on epoxy resin bowls and such
What does he mean by burnt? Did someone apply heat to it?
Hi Lisa and rod that’s so awesome you had pups.
Hey Rod call your Canadian buddy Joey the king of DIY and ask him how to fix that acrylic tank.
The stingrays are beautiful. You should definitely get more. Your babies are always so cute.
AWESOME TANK ROD! WHAT A COLLECTION OF BEAUTIFUL MONSTERS! 🐠🐟🐠
I've seen people work miracles buffing out scratches on acrylic but I'm sure it's something you can easily make worse if not done properly. Congrats on the baby stingrays. So amazing they can give birth to 7 healthy babies at one time
The rays are cool and all but let’s learn and see more of that turtle.

Pothos do not need direct light. Id put the roots of the pothos into the tank, would look cool seeing roots grow long into that tank.
CONGRATS WITH THE STINGRAY PUPS! 👍🏼
The tank with the lights on looks awesome
Rod, thought you'd be interested to know that I have a 17 year old Mayan. He/she is finally in the end stage of life, it's pretty sad. But it's definitely been a neat journey! Lots of personality, lol.

Hey ROD, what about the saltwater Shark that you have. Give us the updates on it too.
I gave you a like! Because I think you definitely need some albino rays. I think they are so pretty. Esp when they're slowly swimming through the water and their fins are gently waving. Yep. Albino rays for sure.

You can use products used for automotive paint polishing. Just test it on a test panel before doing on the tank.

Is this u guy first baby if it is it will be the most amazing thing ever godbless
I think that you should try to feed the sicklets to one of the arapaimas
Use an orbital sander up to 3000. Then compound and polish
What light do you use in 3000 gallon..??
13:23 that is a Hoplarchus psittacus (true Parrot cichlid)
Yes
Those lights make 4hat tank pop

Hey I think you got the right idea about the stingrays getting more females instead of males so they don’t fight !
Lisa's camera skills are fire 🔥
AWSOME intro haha hope you guys are all well thx for another vid hello from AUSSIE
Java ferns would be great for this tank. No need for soil or anything.
More brths would be good Love your channel

So cute!
Get them to 5000 likes✊✊
Nice quality baby's!
Congrats!!! Going to make a tank just for the breeding pair of rays next time like Kevin so the water in the show tank stays clean?
Hey can you explain more what he meant about the tank almost dying? The rays do something to the water while giving birth?

I think wet sand with like 600 grit or higher might work
You guys are awesome no fucks given haha hell yeah 😂😂😂😂
