I hatched a Bamboo Shark from an egg. I raised it for 2 and half years. It was awesome. It was like my dog. I could feed it by hand, hold it in my hand. Then one day I went to feed it and I couldn't find it in the tank. Found it on the floor dried up. Broke my heart. A big Bamboo Shark in the big saltwater tank would be cool

My Advice would be to triple the air to that skimmer. The entire body of that skimmer should be white with micro bubbles.
It will stabilize the PH by driving off C02 and keep it elevated. Looks awesome.
You should put a measuring tape on the side of the glass and when doc swims by maybe you could get a measurement
The albinos are the coolest shark i have ever seen... I have a Brown Banded and Grey Banded Bamboo shark that are about 9 months old and want a Nurse shark extremely bad but have to wait till i can get a bigger tank setup... KEEP UP ALL THE GREAT VIDEOS AND DANCES WE ALL LOVE THEM.....
I used the crushed coral with my koi pond as well. I have even put in cement castle rock, it will eventually acclimate and only work when acid is present

In the wild the eels leave their little caves to look for food, so maybe more hide holes in various places to get away from predators to give a more natural environment to swim around in. While snorkeling in Hawaii that was the behaviors I saw…..what would be cool to add are those blue fin trevally they are gorgeous underwater and like to swim in small schools..

Call them Queensland Groupers (Giant Grouper), they aren't called bumblebee groupers and they loose the bright yellow colour when they grow big

When snorkeling only 3 feet above 🤣an eel, I was nervous but learned people only get bit when feeding them. And the nurse shark, many people have instigated the bites and yes sadly some have been killed due to stupid 🥊 people, but future reference if you poured alcohol on them they will release and can be put back in the water!!

Make those rocks over the eels higher so the shark can’t box them out during feeding or a plastic shield to box him out. They do all look awesome and happy! Bull sharks are mean, I wonder if a mini one would be as well. Your fingers look like sardines to those eels…..lol

You should get 4 or so pilot fish for the saltwater tank not only will they eat parasites from the sharks but they will hang out with doc as well

hi Rod ! when I see your skimmer it think that you have done some wrong connection Pls can you do a nice video so I can see your installation in a good way . You should not have any airbubbels from the skimmer into the tank and I also notice that the bubbels in the skimmer is to big they should be much smaller and it should be lot more of them . I need also to see skimmer without the air so I can see howe the pipes inside the tube look like

They say an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure, so on that note, from one chef to another, a thing called a bubble stop, if fitted, will help stop micro-bubbles from the skimmer output getting into the skin, muscle and eyes of your lovely marine creatures and causing problems. Keep going mate, don't let the bastards grind you down!!
